Pros
- When the company is small and doesn't have a lot of groups built into the needs. It does a great job for basic cyber defense.
- It stops and cleans up malware that slows down and compromises your computer. The customer service reps are very helpful and generally respond to emails within 1 day.
Cons
- The sales person sent a reminder email that was quite condescending and really aggravated me. As a result I did not purchase the enterprise product.
- When at a user's computer, we are unable to view logs while at that computer and instead have to go login to the UI at the IT desk to view those logs which is inconvenient.
Pros
- However, it is the customer service behind the product that really makes it worth the money. I can’t state strongly enough how great the team there is.
- The expansive feature set at a very competitive price makes the Firebox a really attractive option. The ease of deployment and management is, I believe second to none.
Cons
- Configuration is a bit difficult. An example of this is connecting to one of the four available ethernet connections.
- I really don't have any cons for Watchguard other than it can be hard to configure all the features without their support team.
