The MenuSano customer service reps are prompt, friendly and very good at solving problems (my one problem). And then the software got changed so that no one else would have that issue. That's pretty amazing.

The software made it quick and easy to produce accurate, professional looking nutrition labels. Customizing the way the information is displayed was a welcome feature as well.

It would be nice if there was a way to add a barcode or QR code to the label. But don't let that limitation be a deal breaker. This software, for the price works very well.

I needed to guide my product development based on some nutritional guidelines. Once the guidelines were established, it was easy to create and modify recipes to achieve the results needed.

Overall it has everything we need to make NFTs for our packaging that follow Canadian laws. There are a bunch of little things they could do to make the product a bit more user friendly but it does the job we need for a decent price.

Overall the product is pretty easy to use. It can be time consuming if multiple recipes go into one final product. We only use it to get NFTs. I like that you can choose different shapes/sizes. The database is a good size and has a lot of the products we use but not all. I like that you can add custom ingredients though.

My main gripe is how slow it can be to look at different recipes. I wish it would default to just showing you the whole list of your recipes, not just short little pages and then you have to search for it. Then you have to click on the name of it and then click edit. I'd much rather have it default to editing when you click the title. It's very slow when you're flipping back and forth between recipes. It would be nice if you could also toggle an "autosave" of the recipes or at the very least have it ask something like "are you sure you want to leave this page? You haven't saved your recipe" because it's very easy to forget to save it.

Ease of use. The instructions - are good. The custom ingredients are easy enough to add.

Could be better. We sell single item commodities - fruit and vegetable powers. We get only 20 recipes and 20 label downloads. These have been used and I have to re-evaluate. I had made a few mistakes on labels and wasted 2 downloads. Kind of frustrating. I find the value for the money could be better - more labels to download would help us a lot. Even 10. Thanks Dave.

Very user-friendly and intuitive software. I like how you can add your own recipes and ingredients.

I've had clients request a "certification" to ensure the nutritional values are calculated according to CNF database. I've had to export data and ensure clients that the MenuSano software is legitimate and in compliance with federal regulations, but having an added "certification" that you can download for clients/restaurants would be helpful feature. There are a few missing features/functions that would make the experience even better. For example, it would be helpful to be able to view the total grams/serving size of a recipe along with the nutritional information in the "short cuts preview" section instead of having to manually click it in.

Easy to use- Customer service was always accessible but they gave me the wrong link of Health Canada for your references

I figured out that the final values are strange and when followed it up with supporting team and references, I figured out that Menusano is using the old DV% tables of CFIA and FDA for calculating the data. The customer support gave me a wrong link of Health Canada which is not for the industry. Health Canada has made some changes in some regulations and numbers from 2016. The most updated references are for 2016 but Menusano is using the older references unfortunately. I can't trust anymore. Please update your references.

Our business was at a standstill until we could sort out our nutrition labeling requirements. MenuSano's software was so easy to use, we were into production of our nutritional labels in minutes, no small feat!

When we were obtaining our food safety certifications for Township 27, nutrition labeling became necessary. We were unsure of where to start or what to do. Many of the websites we researched claimed to provide all the answers and quite frankly didn't. Then we found MenuSano! MenuSano delivered on all fronts; nutrition labeling, ingredient sourcing, and all kinds of applications we hadn't even thought of. Sooo intuitive and easy to use, not sure where we would be without them!

There are a number of food ingredients that are not listed. This isn't a huge issue however, as there is methodology to add new and custom ingredients along with nutritional facts, so our database can expand as we require.

Overall I've had a very good experience using the software. It has allowed me to be able to market my products into Grocery store chains that require this information.

I really appreciated the ease in inputting the ingredients of my products and how quickly the information is calculated.

Don't appreciate that you can't amend a recipe and redownload without it counting as a DOWNLOAD! It would be nice if there was a system in place to record recipes already created and downloaded that would not ding you if you made a spelling error or forgot to include an ingredient. We are human and are far from perfect so mistakes will happen. For small business owners this would help a lot.

We have been using MenuSano for over 2.5 years and it's been handy from the start. We sell pre-made salads to grocery store so we had to find a good and easy program to have our nutritional values on our labels. We are always creating new salads so our old and new recipes are always at the same place. We recommended to any new or older business!

At first, it was a little bit overwhelming but you get the hang of it quickly. The only part at the moment that confuse me a bit is when I manually enter a new product.

If not for the customer service and their quick responses, I would have cancelled.

Cannot print directly with word, have to pay for PDF converter. No inventory module No each or unit measurement, i.e case of 140 apples, recipe for 2 apples, etc. No scaling up/down of recipes. No way to print a recipe book, ie all recipes sorted to user preference. No data base of pictures to attach. Please remove the USDA branded items. Please develop a way to drag recipes into folders
