Satisfied GCPay User

I find the customer service outstanding. If I get a hold of someone who does not know the answer, they have always gotten back to me before the time they committed a follow-up. The support group is very pleasant to speak with, too.

Pros

It is easy to use and have subcontractors enroll at no cost to them. I have use Textura in the past and found it difficult for some to use and very expensive.

Cons

When linking subcontracts, there are sometimes multiple choices for the same company and tax ID. But, that is also a good thing about GCPay. The subcontractors can setup accounts for each office. It would be nice if there was a space for the company to note which vendor number to select by stating their region.

Great product, even better Support team

Pros

The fact that the software is integrated with our ERP and other systems is very valuable. Support staff is far and away the best I've encountered, always extremely helpful and prompt. Interface is user friendly and have been responsive with any feedback we provide.

Cons

None that come to mind immediately. The GCPay team are usually pretty good about addressing any issues that we come to them with. Some subs complain that it can be difficult to use, but they generally seem to learn to navigate it well after some time.

Great Customer Service

Our accounting team has pay apps taken off their plate which allows them to be more efficient in others areas of their work.

Pros

Customer service has been terrific in handling questions/fixes.

Cons

Integration with our current software provides challenges. Although it relieves AP from the duty, it adds extra work for the PA's (syncing, receiving compliance, adding subs, extra email notifications, checking waivers, etc. One of the challenges that holds us back is we cant add a subcontract/subcontractor until they create an account. This is not a smooth process.

Reasons for switching to GCPay

To find a program that subcontractors can submit their invoices per their subcontract & relieve AP from this duty.

GCPay Review

Fantastic. Their customer service is amongst the best I've ever encountered.

Pros

The ease of use is our favorite aspect of this software. We also appreciate the 24/7 support and all the different ways we can utilize support (phone, email, chat). Most of the customizations we needed to make this product work in the capacity we need it to, were able to be implemented.

Cons

Its a bit on the expensive side but considering the peace of mind we have now that we've implemented it, the cost is something we can accept.

Reasons for switching to GCPay

We needed something that our Subcontractors could easily use. We also needed something that would prohibit our Subs/Vendors from adding items without prior approval because that always led to delays in getting payment out.

Easy option for project billing

GCPay allows out accounting and project management teams to work together when it comes to billing. It is clear to see problems that have popped up and to integrate it with our accounting programs.

Pros

GC Pay allows subcontractors to bill individually for each project with ease. It is clear to use and helps keep the digital paper trail with easy to read audit reports.

Cons

The inability for companies to make changes to their login with out calling GC PAY is a little frustrating.
