Pushpay Hype & Followup

On a whole, the experience has been a positive one. However, moving forward, we now have specific items we will ask about when inquiring with other businesses to better fulfill our desired experience for users.

Pros

Pushpay has allowed our organization to move into this century. We were behind and now have the capabilities that the younger generations are looking for in terms of interacting with our organization. From electronic giving to development of a mobile app; we are incredible thankful to now be functioning in these areas. And within the app, our favorite function is the ability to send Push Notifications.

Cons

We would love the ability to better update our app from a mobile device. Currently using the web browser on a mobile device is extremely difficult. Even if we had the capability to send Push Notifications alone, that would be helpful. And then, another major frustration is the notifications do not show up on mobile devices as notifications for the app. Users of the app have to search within in the app for Push Notifications, instead of being reminded that they have a notification from our organization with the red bubble with the number of notifications remaining unseen.

One of the best tools for online giving

Pros

Customer service is great. It should integrate with a lot of your existing infistrucutre. It is simple and streamlined to give via pushpay. Finally, the money back gaurentee is awesome.

Cons

The initial cost can be difficult for some but it will pay for itself many times over, especially if you do not have an online giving solution already.

Makes giving easy

We process or record all our donations through Pushpay and year end receipts are a breeze!

Pros

The ease of receiving and recording donations with Pushpay makes it an essential tool for any church or nonprofit. The card processing and app options add extra value. Customer support is excellent.

Cons

Cost is a con for some, but it is a fair price for the service. You get what you pay for.

Giving Done Well

Works smoothly. We switched our church body over to it for giving entirely and have had no problems. It was an easy switch that our body never needed any hand holding on the switch. It just worked.

Pros

Mobile app works well and integration into various platforms are a focus in their business plan so no exporting to excel and trying to manipulate everything there.

Cons

Cost. It is a great solution but does cost more than other solutions. You are paying for what you get though so even though it is a con it is needed to provide the great support and solution they have.

Great giving platform

We use pushpay for our giving platform at our church. Pushpay makes regular giving easier and more consistent.

Pros

Great giving platform for non profits and churches. Give made easy.

Cons

The platform is helpful and makes first time giving and recurring giving easy but the cost for a non profit/church can be a little expensive.

PushPay; The Best Giving Software.

We feel a safety and security that we won't experience any sudden issues with our giving whether that be in regards to people not being able to give, glitches, or security when they give.

Pros

If you want a software that makes giving easy to handle behind the scenes, and offers an experience for users that's effortless? PushPay is the option for you. Not only can you give online, but you can give from your mobile device with the touch of one button. They use leading security standards to make sure your accounts are safe from any intrusion. The process of implementation is incredible, they walk with you step by step in moving from other giving platforms and it makes everything feel like a breeze.

Cons

We are currently using F1 as a church and we have integrated F1 with PushPay, this can sometimes cause a headache, but eventually we plan to move from using this integration and use PushPay alone.

A good payment solution, but only solves that problem

The need was to collect payments online. We found that while this tool accomplished taking care of that need, there was more that was required from the process. We needed a better integration with the congregation database, an easier way to send statements, and cheaper processing.

Pros

Does a great job taking payments and making that process easy

Cons

Administrating a church requires a ton of information and input, while this tool does a good job of taking payments, it requires other tools to integrate with it before it can be completely helpful.

Perfect Pushpay

We have church members who are not able to attend services every Sunday, or when they are away on business. Pushpay allows them to give their tithe from the ease of their cell phone. Also, not everyone carries cash or check anymore, which this product make a non issue.

Pros

Pushpay has made it easy for our church members to tithe through mobile services such as text to give.

Cons

At this time, I have not experienced an negative aspects of Pushpay.

Great for our monthly tithes

Pros

We absolutely love this product for paying our monthly church tithes. It has made everything so much easier now that we set it up for a weekly draw on our account and that's it!! Also, if we are wanting to contribute to any other fund at the church they simply add it to the drop down menu and we can easily go in and pay whether we are in church or not. Makes everything much more simple and keeps our tithes on track so that we don't miss any.

Cons

The only con I have noticed is there aren't many people in our church using it right now. I think the 55 and older crowd still prefer to write a check so we haven't seen the full benefits of implementing it just yet. But we are going to set up "stations" at events to have some of the youth set it up for people who might not be as tech savvy.

A great resource to use in the church!

Pros

I like that it makes it easy for others to give their tithe. It's reliable, easy to use, and it's simple, which is exactly what users want when they're getting ready to give their tithe!

Cons

The customer service didn't necessarily help me solve the problem I was having. My account was locked and I was trying to get it resolved, but we weren't able to reach that point. Other than this, I would recommend the product/software!

Innovative and Engaging Tool

Overall I met with this sales team several times. It is a VERY quality product. Cost was our factor to say no. We ended up with Subsplash in the long run but wouldn't recommend against Pushpay. Just be crystal clear on the "variable costs" you will pay for each transaction.

Pros

Constantly innovating new product offerings. Really stress people engagement and model after Amazon app purchasing. Best customer service in resolving problems quickly.

Cons

Cost. You pay for what you get and you get a lot with Pushpay. But it is known to be expensive. And the charges vary which I didn't care for. It felt a little aggressive at times in terms of reaching our people to give BUT it is a good product.

We loved PushPay but eventually had to move on

Pros

PushPay has a great support team that wishes for you to succeed. It has a great infrastructure that has an extremely easy way for people to give with multiple options. It was our first real online and digital giving option and we loved working with them. They helped bring us into the 21st century.

Cons

Though we loved working with PushPay, when we took them on there was not much option in Canada for online giving and as other options came out we landed on a system that was integrated into our church database software better. It was not due to our displeasure of PushPay that we left but for our systems to be under one umbrella. Only real complaint is PuahPay can be a bit pricier than other options.

It's an option, but don't forget there are more and possibly better solutions for your church

The benefit is an online giving solution, but I found a better solution for our church.

Pros

The best feature of PushPay is their customer service. They are willing to take the time to answer every question you have. I set up a phone call/demonstration for our team to review PushPay as a possible vendor for our church. They gladly worked around our schedule, took plenty of time to teach/explain it to us, all the while, they knew we might not be using their product in the future. Their eagerness to assist was unparalleled.

Cons

It doesn't provide the easiest end user experience. In my research, there are other companies that provide a better experience for the end user and at a cheaper price. PushPay does a phenomenal job marketing their company and making sure you know who they are, but just because you know the name, that doesn't mean they are the best for your purposes. Check around before making the decision. They might be the best fit for you; they might not be.

Pushpay enables us to give digitally!!!

Pros

I love the fact that it makes it very simple to give once you have an account setup. I can classify the giving by using keywords in text messages, which is very convenient.

Cons

Honestly the only thing that is a little bit of a downer is that your setup of your profile can be a little cumbersome on your phone.

A must software that pays for its self quickly.

Pros

For a church that meets once a week corporately, this is an awesome giving solution. I've spoken with pastors who think they can't afford it and in minutes of showing them the weekly stats the pushpay give you they understand they were wrong.

The mobile app is great, text to give feature works wonderful, and it integrates well with your website.

Cons

There is no reason you should not do business with this company and grow your giving today. 1/3 of our giving comes from this app.

As often as I give my offering or tithe to my church, I use PushPay.

PushPay is convenient and allows you to give without having to write out a check. You can give anytime and do not have to wait until Sunday morning or evenings. The benefit is I'm writing fewer checks and can tithe right away.

Pros

It's convenient when you the code for your particular vendor or establishment. All you have to do is enter the numbers and the account will appear. Enter the amount you want to give and complete your transaction.

Cons

PushPay promotes that giving increases. PushPay caters to the younger generation, but the older generation still writes out a check or gives cash. Statistics right now do not support an increase in giving.

Since moving from from PayPal to Pushpay, our electronic donations have increased by 40% over 2018.

Pros

With the purchase of Pushpay, affiliation with EChurch. Ease of use, great customer service. Coorsponding app easy to use.

Cons

The limitation on number of funds that be setup is challenging. Transferring donations deposits to bank cannot be done as individual donations but must be done in batches. Batches makes it difficult to reconcile.

I tithe to our church through PushPay.

Pros

The app is very user friendly and it is shows my last transactions and allows me to repeat the transaction with ease.

Cons

To actually give, the app will direct you to the website to finish the transaction. It is still easy to use but would be nice to have the ability to give on the app as well.

Great Online Giving

Pros

Love how easy and secure pushpay is for giving online. We use it for tithe and offering at church and as a user, I love that it's simple and easy to use. Love that you can access past history with your account.

Cons

As just a user, I don't have anything negative to report about my use of this software. My interactions with it have been great.

Great giving platform

Pros

Great platform and very user friendly. They only require a phone number and that makes it very easy to give. On the backend, the reporting is simple as well

Cons

Though it's easy to only have people enter their phone numbers, on the back-end, that's hard because we don't have addresses attached with their accounts, for mailing purposes, that's hard.
