We tried many alternatives, but the simplicity and the ability to self host won us over. Task lists, Kanban Style boards, Time tracking, Notifying and Assigning all work well.

The only reason for that would be, there is no (or that was not back then) an integration with Git or other version of control system. It was simply a missing feature back then.

Time logging was difficult compared to the software we moved to later.

Overall I cannot recommend ActiveCollab enough. The application is extremely user friendly and the support staff is extremely responsive and very helpful.

More and more its becoming a part of my workday. Loving the ability to click on activity on the left to see the company wide activity for each day.

ActiveCollab is one of the best, if not the best project management tool that I have ever used and I have jumped from one to another tool for different projects and project types.

I like the rich features for project management, and the ease of use. As well as the ability to manage billing.

Two things stand out about Active Collab. First, it has a fully customizable API that can be installed on premises.

Sometimes I struggle with the organization, but overall it's a decent tool.

We ended up transferring from ActiveCollab to Teamwork fairly quickly because it caused some business problems for us.

The only thing I have found that I dislike about ActiveCollab is there is no due date for overall projects.

Any.do is very like microsoft TO DO in that it helps you organize your daily life. It depends on the characteristics that someone is looking if one is better than the other.

The color selection contrasts nicely both with the Light and the Dark themes. Adding new submissions is easy and intuitive.

The UI is absolutely horrible, making it difficult to actually use in practice. Lists are difficult to arrange and organize and the app features constant annoyances.

Any.do is not the most feature rich to-do list application, but the free option offers exceptional value for money and its simplicity could be be considered an advantage for many users.

Closed and restarted the app and all the work I had done was lost.

The to-do list offered by this software is easy to manage and the structure of the to-do list is very helpful as it can be integrated with the google calendar.

I used Google Inbox for years and was very happy with it, but Any.do has been the best replacement I've found.
