Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • It keeps my to do list straight. I love that it integrates with other things like Amazon Alexa and my Google Calendar.
  • Any.do is very like microsoft TO DO in that it helps you organize your daily life. It depends on the characteristics that someone is looking if one is better than the other.
  • Cons

  • The UI is absolutely horrible, making it difficult to actually use in practice. Lists are difficult to arrange and organize and the app features constant annoyances.
  • Closed and restarted the app and all the work I had done was lost.

  • Pros

  • If you are looking for a bot that is good at standup and retro, Jell is great. It is a really simple integration into Slack and works really well once you understand it.
  • We had everyone on the team using it each day. It was an excellent platform to ensure everyone understood what was accomplished, what the plan of the day was and what challenges were being faced.
  • Cons

  • There is also no way to adjust for a part-time position, i.e. a four day work week, so either every week you need to put in out of office or get reminder emails.
  • My only complaint is that the text fields are only one line high when typing even though they'll display multiple lines after being submitted.
