Upwork is an awesome plateform for freelancers
It was my first experience working as a freelancer at Upwork, and it's been excellent till now. I have been learning and polishing my skills day by day as a professional freelancer. Upwork is doing a great job by providing online jobs worldwide. It's the fantastic platform ever.
PROSAlthough I am doing a job, Upwork is still my favorite platform to utilize my spare time to use my skills as a freelancer. It’s a source of income for me. Upwork provides me the fastest way to interact with millions of freelancers worldwide. Almost every profession is available at Upwork, where we can utilize our skills to make money or get our project done. The way how to support the team of Upwork communicate with new freelancers is inspiring for me. They guide me at every stage to get my desire project. They told me how to build eye-catching proposals, set milestones, fix budgets, and more. Upwork also sharpens my skills, interacting with individuals to get hired for a specific project, making my communication skills better, an extra benefit of Upwork, and getting up. It’s not a complicated platform, easy to present yourself and your skills, convince the client and start earning by staying at home. Its job-finding mechanism is so cool; by applying filters, you can get the most favorite job. Freelancers bid for a proposal; instead, they can make their project sell out; it’s another fantastic feature for me.
CONSUpwork has a strict policy for freelancers to use this platform reasonably. It's a fine thing, but when making a little mistake, they block your account witout telling the reason. In most cases, freelancers would not be able to withdraw the amount that they earned. But I am okay with it now, as these are requirements for fair use of this platform.

Upwork Review
We usually use Upwork to outsource legal consultants, Data Analysts and a lot of professionals to do a number of repetitive tasks that we have available on our Platform
PROSWell, Upwork is a robust marketplace for both demand and supply of work which incorporates a lot of talented professionals with a profound set of skills all together in one marketplace. We often use Upwork to outsource several Professionals such as data analysts and Software Developers from around the globe. Upwork is also Ideal if you want a part-time job and you are looking to better your skills, then you can offer your services on Upwork and get paid in return
CONSThe only limitation is that It is quite costly but at the same justifiable and also on the part of freelancers it is quite hectic building up your reputation on Upwork and getting long term clients on Upwork
Reason for choosing Enterprise Suite
Well I would recommend Upwork over other Products because It's secure in that It protects both the Client and freelancer and its hiring process is streamlined which gives you the Ideal Freelancer for your job

Once upon a time with Upwork!
More than 7 years ago, I stumbled on Upwork doing research on how to earn money from home, and I jumped on it. The interface was basic; easily accessible. I liked the functionality, although I wasn't able to get a client in my region then; i was still a newbie as at the time. I used the web based version then.
CONSThe only issue i had then was that i wasn't able to secure a client...maybe I wasn't patient enough. I like their service all the same.

Secure job payment
I know that Upwork is doing their best to improve their features and overall, I'm very satisfied with it! I like the free connects that they give and this tool is very easy to use even if you're just a first timer.
PROSI love Upwork that it protects their users. You will be protected to scammers and secured that you will be paid because of the contract you are in. I like it that you can filter the job postings based on what suits you and they give free connects too!
CONSThe calls feature in the messages still needs to be improved. I know Upwork just rolled out the new policy wherein all calls should be made thru Upwork if there are no contracts yet, it'll be better if the quality will be realiable for video calls.

Freelancing Made Easy
Years ago I was a freelancer on the system offering my services and found the experience to be quite easy and the access to an enormous amount of work quite nice. As a client on the system now, I still find the system easy to use and effective for finding quick and short-term help for business projects.
PROSI most like the access this platform provides to a global network of varied professionals, including graphic designers, videographer, data entry, data mining, and so much more.
CONSUsing the platform itself is easy but there is a learning curve on how to best find the perfect fit for the need. Reviews and portfolios are helpful but looking for warning signs of an improper fit of freelancer to the specific project need takes time to develop.
Reason for choosing Enterprise Suite
The established network of professionals from which to acquire assistance is profound and makes the process of finding and hiring a freelancer incredibly efficient - fast turn 24/48 jobs are possible.
Reasons for switching to Enterprise Suite
Upwork bought out elance and the elance.com site was migrated to Upwork.com only.

Good freelancing platform
Overall a great place to find clients even though some clients seem to think that freelancers don't need to earn a decent living, but that is not Upwork's fault. Payments are protected and offers a time tracking app.
PROSHelps to find clients, good customer service. Messaging platform. Payments are protected. Time tracking application.
CONSIf you don't earn anything for a month, you need to pay for an account or they make your profile invisible. Even if you have been using their platform as a freelancer for years and earn them a lot of money. Commission of 20%. Had to prove identity after years of good reviews.
Reason for choosing Enterprise Suite
Offers a free profile option.

I love the Upwork App!
Upwork has been an amazing platform to find freelancing opportunities. I would recommend it to anyone that is look for remote work opportunities.
PROSThis app has made it so easy to apply to freelancing positions and go through the interview process. The chat feature is easy to use, the job search page is one of the best ones I've ever seen for a freelancing website, and the work tracker works really well. I also love the pay options they offer such as direct deposit and paypal.
CONSI can't think of anything that I don't like about the app besides wishing that they would lower their job fees.
Reasons for switching to Enterprise Suite
It's better with more opportunities.

Good Freelancing Platform, but costly.
UpWork is a very good freelancing site and there's a lot of room for potential if you keep trying, however, there seems to be too much competition to even get started and rated, and the bids are too expensive for the average or beginner freelancer. Some gigs cost like 10 bids, and if you spend the gigs and don't get the job, then you've lost money, because you have to pay for the bids in advance. So, I think it would be best to build a strong reputation on Social Media or via a Blog, before bidding on gigs on UpWork, so the employers can get a better understanding of who you and what you can do. Thank You.
PROSI like the wide selection of gigs available and the useful filters such as filtering Skills and when the Gigs were posted, e.g. you can search for Animation gigs by most Recent.
CONSI love the wide selection of gigs available, however, I don't like how you need to pay for bids, it adds up over time, and for the most part I haven't received an actual gig as yet, and thus I've lost money.

A review as a Client and a Freelancer
I find the customers on the site to be of a higher level than those found on other sites. The clients are respectable, friendly, and don't negotiate or cheapen the experience.
PROSUpwork is an excellent platform for gaining new clients. I've worked with Upwork for several years and only have great experiences. I've also used the site as a Client, searching for services. I found my assistant through Upwork, and she's the best!
CONSUpwork's take is 20%. I know that's the industry standard, but it's a lot. I feel I would be better served, and Upwork would also, by a smaller take resulting in more orders. I have to raise my rates 20% to cover the charges and that's unfair to my clients.

Access to many clients -- but with high fees
Upwork can be worth your time, and the fees, if you go into it knowing your costs and plan accordingly. My Upwork rates are about 20% higher than my non-Upwork rates to compensate for the exorbitant fees. (When you calculate your rates, remember that you're being taxed on the full amount you're paid, not the amount after fees...) That said, realize that you will have a tough time if you try to start charging expert-level rates on Upwork without reviews and a job success score to back it up. You will almost certainly have to charge less than you're worth at first in order to build the reputation that will allow you to land those higher-paying jobs.
PROSYou can make decent money if you stick with Upwork long enough to build a strong reputation, earn a high job success score, and garner positive client reviews. I've connected with many long-term clients who are willing to pay my rates via the platform. Tracking time is easy and the messaging portal is a nice way to keep track of client communications, files, etc.
CONSUnfortunately, it takes a while to build a good enough reputation that decent clients will consider you for lucrative jobs. Additionally -- and this is huge -- Upwork takes an enormous fee, 20%, on the first $500 of any job. At that point, the fee drops to "only" 10% (still huge). I do a lot of smaller one-off jobs that never reach the $500 mark, so I pay 20% on most of what I earn through Upwork. Additionally, if you initially connect with a client through Upwork, you have to work/get paid through the platform for a whopping 2 years before you're able to take your contract off-site. That 10-20% in fees really adds up over 2 years on long-term jobs.

I definitely recommend this workplace to all my friends and relatives. Thank You, Upwork.
PROSThis is Professional Workplace for work beyond the borders, especially for Freelancers. I Like this Workplace very much due to its Amazing Features and Services offered to both Clients and Sellers too. Its Bidding System is professional, Interview Environment is Professional, Jobs Features i.e Fixed Price Job and Hourly Jobs are Great. Its Security System is Amazing.
CONSSellers have to buy connects for bids on the jobs at a reasonable price. It's not fair. It Should be free to bid on any job because Sellers are here to earn money not to invest or not here to purchase something

More than just a time tracker
If it had better time tracking increments (down to the minute) this would be a very good time tracking app for freelancers.
PROSEasy to use time tracking that only requires one click to start and pause. Periodic activity and screenshot tracking is built in so it is more than just a time tracker. Offline time tracking is a big bonus to areas with unstable internet connection.
CONSTime tracking is wonky and sometimes inaccurate. The app tries to track time in 10 minute increments so if you work under that amount, sometimes time isn't tracked. Periodic screenshots make it feel like big brother is watching you.

An excellent tool for finding freelance work
Upwork has allowed me to start a side business without any marketing efforts. It was very easy to standup the business by leaning on the Upwork platform.
PROSThe volume of jobs that exist on upwork makes it easy for freelancers to fill a pipeline and create steady work.
CONSThe "connects" or token system can prohibit matching a freelancer with a job that is a good fit, but the ability for job posters to invite specific applicants is a really good option.

Success!
The whole experience felt positive, I was excited to get my publication developed and I was encouraged by my interactions with Upwork.
PROSThis layout is user-friendly, it was not difficult to post the job I was looking for (an illustrator.) I received several work samples in response to my post, and though one artist did stand out as superior, the other applicants demanded my consideration. It was not a waste of time.
CONSI can't say I encountered any problems with this site.
Reason for choosing Enterprise Suite

Great for finding freelancers
We were able to hire a few freelance video editors through Upwork. The projects were all completed smoothly.
PROSYou can find freelancers such as writers, photographers, videographers, video editors in the price range that you want, based on their level of experience. You can also put a project on there and allow freelancers to bid on it and find the one who you find most suitable. Upwork acts as a middle-man and they are paid through the site when the work is complete.

CONSThere are a lot of contractors that try to take you off upwork. You have to be careful with how you respond or upwork will kick you out of finding any new contractors. Great for finding contract work
Posting projects, talking to potential contractors, and building a proposal is quite simple. We've been very pleased!
PROSOur office loves using upwork for projects we just don't want to do ourselves. We hired out for small and big projects.
CONSWe'd like options on tipping our contractors without upwork taking a portion of their tips - it seems like it would be a quick solution that I don't think upwork has considered.
