FixMe.IT is remote support software that enables users to connect to any remote computer. It caters to users from sole proprietors to global corporations across multiple sectors and industries.

FixMe.IT features include multi-session handling, two-way desktop sharing, unattended access, multi-window control, video-session recording, whiteboard tools and more.

FixMe.IT assists in sharing clipboard data such as text, images and other files from one computer to another. Users can also drag and drop files from remote desktop computers or between client machines.

Users can view and control multiple monitors connected to a remote computer. If a computer malfunctions, users can restart it remotely without terminating the current session.

The solution also assists in recording active sessions for evaluation and training purposes. FixMe.IT is compliant with HIPAA and PCI regulations.

    I've used several different screen control utilities in the past and most require a bit of configuration in order to get it going. This simply works. It is easy to use and intuitive.

    Easy to use.
    easy to setup.
    I no longer have to worry about the upkeep of a screen connect service.

    Any of the cons that I could mention have all been updated and resolved within the last 6 months.

    You're going to have customers that don't know anything about the computer they're working on, so you're going to need a solution to help them that allows them to very easily accept and request help. That's what FixMe.IT does.

    Pros

    The ease of setup was great. It has smooth remote desktop functionality without being too stressful on the network.

    I like that the program does not need to be installed on the customers computer. It connects fast and allows for support

    Cons

    Sometimes when connecting to customers widows of programs open behind other windows. So this makes you minimize other windows. Also that it temporarily installs in the temp folder. If Windows security is set to not allow this the program cannot be used.

    FixMe.IT's servers are always fast and stable, It is simple to direct users over the phone to start the Support Session, it automatically checks for proper local-admin privileges and will prompt the user for credentials if needed. FixMe.IT was made with IT support professionals in-mind; it never has a problem viewing and clicking-through UAC dialogs, and the additional features such as Unattended Access and File Transfers make Remote Support a breeze.

    Cons

    per month per user price seems steep, however, is a reasonable price for such powerful software, and seems extremely competitive compared to other similar products.

    Remote Diagnostics and Maintenance is now a better profit margin item and works as stated, every time.

    Minimal need now to visit customer homes & businesses

    Price plan is pay as you go & very reasonable, I am a self employed IT engineer & remote support is invaluable in our trade, fixme.it allows me to support customers without huge outlay

    Ability to add 'unattended client' for regular customers

    Cons

    Could do with an option to have a fixed ID for some customers, without unattended access so their computers could be supported in the future, maybe just change the password every use rather than having a new ID each time

    Hi Michael, I'm afraid this is an inaccurate description of the software. FixMe.IT simply cannot be "ok for non-tech savvy people", because it's used by IT pros to provide remote technical support to customers. Looks like you're describing a different product altogether.     Overall it was a great choice to go with FixMe.IT. I specialize in Windows Servers/Workstations so the product works for me. The app is not clunky and just works flawlessly. Everything I need in a remote support software is here.

    Pros

    It's fast and reliable. It's much better than a lot of competitors for a cheaper price. I like that no matter what screen size your connected to you don't have problems. I often have problems with GoToAssist where I need to end a session and reconnect, this has never happen with FixMe.IT. It's just a smooth system that works really well.

    Cons

    Would be nice to service Macs, iPhones, and Androids.

    The wizarding world of Remote Desktop Support. The software is easy to use and the remote support is usually pretty helpful.

    The price is not bad but could be adjusted accordingly to the situation that the customer actually has and is willing to pay in order to fix the device. But all and all a decent piece of software.

    I use this product to support my IT support clients. By using this product, I can usually diagnose and resolve my client's computer issues without a service call. This greatly improves efficiency and better enables me to plan and control my business day.

    Cost effective remote support solution. Especially for smaller companies providing IT support to their clients.

    Cons

    A bit of software lag at times. I utilize gigabit internet speed and still have lag at times. Nothing too obtrusive, however.

    The price was first and foremost, with a monthly subscription a month you can't get better than that. Surprised to find the client software very stable, robust, never down and conveniently simple. When I tell my clients to go to fixme.it to start a support session I am never disappointed!

    Windows Remote Support - The Easy Way

    I have been using Fixme.IT for over 5 years now as my primary remote support tool. The service has been 100% available and reliable for me during all of the time that I have relied on Fixme.it. Connections are fast, the service is exceptionally responsive with virtually no lag (except when connected to some DSL customers).

    Pros

    The Fixme (Techinline) software is easily installed on the "expert" (technician) system as well as the "client" system. Installation on the client system requires visiting the Fixme.it website and only two more clicks for the client. The connection is fast, secure and has a chat feature where communication can be handled between the technician and the client. Unlike RDP, the client screen is shared, so that the client will be able to see what is being done on his/her computer. The client can also use his/her keyboard and mouse during the remote support session and is able to participate in any actions needed. The client can also terminate the session at any time if necessary. With Fixme.it, the technician can remotely reboot the client system and log back in either in Safe Mode or normal Windows. The remote support session is secured and encrypted for security.
    As a service provider, the user interface presented to the client can be customized with a custom layout including company name and logo. Considering that the service costs only per seat per year, it is an exceptional value compared to many other remote support solutions. Fixme.it also supports multiple concurrent support sessions, which saves time for both the client and the technician.

    Cons

    I would like for this service to be able to support both MAC and Chrome OS in addition to Windows.

    FixMe.IT has been the solution we have been looking to find for our support team for a while. We tried other solutions for remote support of our base and often found them to be confusing to our customers to get it started and constant barriers on what we could and could not do for various tiers. FixMe.IT has been extremely smooth to get rolling and I have received multiple comments from our support team on how great it has been on helping them get customers issues resolved quickly and easily.

    Pros

    The ease of use of both the client software and the customer support side software is fantastic. Also the ability to have a custom landing page for your customers to use has been great.

    Cons

    As of right now we havent found any drawbacks to comment on.
