FixMe.IT is remote support software that enables users to connect to any remote computer. It caters to users from sole proprietors to global corporations across multiple sectors and industries.

FixMe.IT features include multi-session handling, two-way desktop sharing, unattended access, multi-window control, video-session recording, whiteboard tools and more.

FixMe.IT assists in sharing clipboard data such as text, images and other files from one computer to another. Users can also drag and drop files from remote desktop computers or between client machines.

Users can view and control multiple monitors connected to a remote computer. If a computer malfunctions, users can restart it remotely without terminating the current session.

The solution also assists in recording active sessions for evaluation and training purposes. FixMe.IT is compliant with HIPAA and PCI regulations.

The easiest remote tool ever

This program has saved me so many miles on my car because I can remote in and take care of things. The pc doesn't even have to be on the network as long as it can get to the internet.

Pros

FixMe.IT is so easy to explain to the receiving party how to allow you to connect. Web based and simple. It also has features that allow you to send files back and forth, it allows you to let them see your screen as well.

Cons

There is nothing that I don't like about FixMe.IT

Great product!!

I support many servers and PC's for my customers and I use this product every single day. Great so far and I have been using for over 3 years.

Pros

You can open several support windows at the same time to be able to fix multiple servers or PC's at the same time.

Cons

I haven't experienced any problems with FixMe.

A Web-Based Remote Support Tool with Features that Add User Comfort

Pros

Unlike TeamViewer or similar programs that allow a remote tech support agent to take control of a client's system in order to provide assistance, FixMe.IT allows techs to do the same but with more options for communicating with the client. This helps the client to feel more secure. It's overwhelming enough to wrap your head around somebody taking control of your system (believe me, I've always been on the receiving end of this type of assistance, and it's been unnerving every time.) But to only be able to watch as the professional does their thing? That adds to the discomfort. FixMe.IT offers communication tools, where the tech can instant message the client. It also lets the tech share their own screen back, which can be educational.

FixMe.IT also allows tech to access the computer without the user needing to be present. And believe me - I'd rather trust someone to fix my system without me having to watch as the cursor moves seemingly of its own accord.

Cons

FixMe.IT is lesser known than other remote-support software, which is a shame. For the number of times I've needed a tech to fix something on my computer, I wish more of those times could have happened through FixMe.IT

I use FixMe.IT to support my clients remotely, to repair many issues that arise. I also, use it to remotely monitor my clients servers, and backup systems.

Pros

Fixme.it has given me the power to support my clients easily. The remote support is quick to setup and use. Also, the pricing structure is good.

Worth the Investment

I've been using the software for several years. I have a limited client base, but find it very helpful in assisting them. Several clients allow me to set up unassisted access so that I can monitor/troubleshoot they systems without their needing to sit and watch.

Pros

The administrator dashboard and tabs make it easy to manage multiple sessions and navigate to use the functions necessary to assist my clients.

Cons

Some clients have difficulty navigating the interface and process when going to FixMe.IT to begin a session, especially for the first time.

Excellent Choice for Remote Access

I needed a replacement for LogMeIn and Rescue because of the price increases that they kept pushing through. I looked at other options and decided that FixMe was powerful and a great value.

Best remote software I have ever used

We remote into p.c’s for access to there phone systems and fix remotely and customers love that we can address there issues and resolve there issues instantly

An awesome tool for quickly assisting users.

Our organization has a different integrated remote support tool that we use daily for controlling workstations. However in an emergency when that software is corrupt, unusable, not installed, etc. Fixme.IT is a lifesaver for those instances where we need to quickly assist a user and get them back up and running.

Pros

The best part of the software is how it runs on the fly on a client without needing to be installed beforehand. The per-seat instead of per-user is a great value as well.

Cons

The expert console could be a little better designed. But after an initial learning curve, it does work well.

About 1 in 10 of my customers cannot connect. The client software begins to load then goes away with no client ID. Works very poorly with servers for unattended access.

Great Product

I've used several different screen control utilities in the past and most require a bit of configuration in order to get it going. This simply works. It is easy to use and intuitive.

Remote troubleshooting made simple

You're going to have customers that don't know anything about the computer they're working on, so you're going to need a solution to help them that allows them to very easily accept and request help. That's what FixMe.IT does.

Pros

The ease of setup was great. It has smooth remote desktop functionality without being too stressful on the network.

I like that the program does not need to be installed on the customers computer. It connects fast and allows for support

Cons

Sometimes when connecting to customers widows of programs open behind other windows. So this makes you minimize other windows. Also that it temporarily installs in the temp folder. If Windows security is set to not allow this the program cannot be used.
