Great POS for Taprooms!

Arryved has been an amazing product for us. The ability to pull specific sales data out of the system in a timely manner has help us make business decisions quickly. The ease of taking orders from the handheld tablets has improved the quality of service we are able to provide to our customers.

PROS

The ability to sync with our existing financial and production platforms has been a huge time saving for us. We have also been able to easily expand to new locations. Arryved is also always looking to add new features to better service its customer base. And the support is second to none.

CONS

The one thing that would be helpful is an Enterprise Solution to update menus across multiple locations. But as of this review, I know this feature is in the works. In addition, as another review said, the swipers can be temperamental.

Arryved Brewery POS

There are too many things to list for which Arryved provides solutions. Even when I come up with odd statistics I'd like to compare, or we decide we need to swap all of our printers at once, then ship one back and get an extra wifi dongle by accident, they have acted as partners the entire time. They have never been upset that we ask the same question for the 5th consecutive week, or that we ask them for something they have already provided. They simply work with us at every step. They have proven to be good people and insightful about their suite and creative in combining many different solutions. This has been and will continue to be most important to us.

PROS

Arryved is very intuitive in addition to having an intelligent setup for deep dives into the data. They also do a great job categorizing expenses, tracking staff, and everything one would expect from POS service.All that being said, the great software is outdone by their Service. It is uncanny how quickly they get back to us and how frequently they are willing to explain their structure, payment processing, and anything about the system setup you can think of. They also have worked tirelessly with us to determine how we can best use their product and integrate future items. We have swapped hardware a few times and they are always ready and willing to help us set up, troubleshoot and optimize our setup. I cannot say enough about their Service team and their ability to handle requests and issues.

CONS

There need to be customizability upgrades in multiple facets of the architecture. These are not earth-shattering upgrades, just some things we would like to do a different way, or to be able to create our own reports. We have the need to view specific data in different ways than standard business models, so this may not be needed by other groups.Given, we have discussed this with them and are working with them to provide information and insight about what we would like to see, and they are very receptive to the feedback. There are always features and capabilities to add, all we would have asked is that they be open to implementing some of these things - they have been more than willing.

Highland Brewing Arryved Review

PROS

The bulk close out is amazing. The Dashboard with a snapshot of sales for the day with comparative data is helpful. The overall ease of creating new product is amazing. The clone feature is extremely valuable in it's ability to help launch a massive new line of product with ease by modeling a previous launch.

CONS

Features that could be added: Ability to drag and drop buttons on the backend to streamline the interface on tablets for ease of use. The number system for columns takes a lot of planning per item especially with a constantly rotating menu. Filters for venues in order to calculate sales by venue, tip totals by venue, etc without having to use a calculator. Ability as an administrator to clock in and out employees from the tablet without having to find their login number. This feature would greatly help with payroll and ease of service.

Arryved at Lark Brewing

My personal experience with Arryved has been one I will always remember. From the moment I requested a demo I felt like I was the most important customer they had. Their service and software is the best we've had!

PROS

Since implementing Arryved in to our taproom, we have seen increased guest interaction and sales. The handheld devices are key to our servers successes. The communication between on-premise and online store is seamless and the system updates quickly when inventory changes are made. Support for Arryved is by far the greatest feature. We are beyond happy to have them on our team!

CONS

The shorthand on printed tickets takes some getting used to, but as with any change, proper training in-house can solve that problem easily.

Partially because of the cost, but in all reality Arryved did all the things the other system did without frills and with a much better human connection.

We needed a better interface and a system with better capabilities. If we were going to pay for a service, it needed to be the right fit. We found that with Arryved.

Next Generation PoS

PROS

Before Arryved, our team used a more generic "all things to all people" PoS. While that solution was cheaper, we got what we paid for. Staring off in the brewery space, the Arryved PoS had pre-built many of the features and reports we use on a daily basis. With our previous provider, I would have to write Python scripts through their API to generate many of our daily reports. We also love the innovation within the Arryved team. Their product is not stagnant. We have benefited from numerous new features that make it easier for a mid-sized brewery to operate in an increasingly digital and online world.

CONS

The biggest con was losing our ability to bring our own merchant card processor. Losing this ability significantly increased our PoS cost. However, the value derived from this additional cost makes up for most of this downside. The only other downside would be the complexity of operating a multi-site business inside a PoS. But this isn't so much a challenge with Arryved, as it is with PoS's in general. To build a product that works across different business models, there are a lot of features and set-up time required, so I believe it's a necessary evil and Arryved has done their best to simplify the setup while still giving the right amount of customization. My biggest recommendation to new users would be to set aside a lot of time, and put a lot of thought into your integration...your future self will thank you.

Best bang for your buck!

I recommend Arryved to so many people. In the food & bev industry and folks not in the industry looking for a simple, cost-effective way to add a POS to their business.

PROS

I love that I can easily add a tablet or handheld device. We've had some massive events and festivals at our establishment. Being able to easily add a tablet or handheld device to take more orders = $$$$ has been worth switching to arryved. A lot of POS systems tie you down to a certain number of tablets or readers. Arryved's flexibility has made it so the customer has a better experience! We switched to Arryved in October 2019. When Covid shutdown happened March 2020, Arryved dropped everything to quickly build an online store and platform for the craft industry to survive . Arryved saved our BUTTS with the quick implementation of online ordering and mobile tabs! I love how Arryved has continued to grow and innovate. Each feature is staff friendly but oriented to help the customer have a better and easier experience (OpenTab is a great feature!).

CONS

We recently added a kitchen to our brewery so I feel like there are some small things on the programming side that aren't quite as fast or easy for bartenders/servers when it comes to ringing in food items. We're still fast, I just know one day it'll be even easier! I've communicated some of those limitations with Arryved and I was recently told they have one of the features I'm most looking forward to coming out later this month. The PRO of Arryved continuously growing and adding new features makes this small con something that likely won't be a con in the future.

Reasons for switching to Arryved

We swithed to Arryved because our previous POS provider hadn't updated anything in years. It was ancient. We were constantly calling support, they weren't fixing anything and if we called after 5pm, we'd get the "on call" message and we'd be left with a taproom of folks trying to buy our product and a POS not accepting payments. The other reason we switched was because our credit card fees were going up so after shopping around, Arryved had a great solution to help us save on credit card processing fees.

Best in Class POS for Breweries & Taprooms

Arryved has allowed us to capture much more sales data, which helps drive decision making regarding product development, operating hours, staffing, and much more. Our experience since day one has been wonderful, and I highly recommend the product.

PROS

Arryved is intuitive, efficient to use, and packed with features that allow for great sales tracking and reporting. Since it's cloud based, it makes it easy to edit and adjust menus remotely, and it requires minimal hardware to get started. Arryved even offers features like offline mode, which can be a life saver during internet outages, and a donation prompt, which allows guests to support our partner charities directly at the check out screen.

CONS

I have yet to discover any cons with Arryved.

Arryved stood out due to its brewery/taproom focus, inexpensive hardware/ processing fees, and its intuitive and efficient interface. It also came highly recommended by industry peers.

Best for Businesses and Breweries

I've used Arryved for over 2 years now and have never had an issue they didn't address immediately and professionally. I've used 3 other POS systems and this is BY FAR the best customer service, implementation, cost, ease of use, etc. and I wouldn't change it for anything!

PROS

This is easy to use, easy to implement and has very thorough training. My staff likes using it and it's very easy for all levels to use. The customer service is irreplaceable and honestly one of the best parts. It's also much cheaper than most POS systems but comes with so many features. The system runs off tablets which you can purchase through them, but that's your biggest cost. Plus you're not left with a POS Specific set up - you have Galaxy tabs after.

CONS

Not much to say here.. I love pretty much everything. There are a few reports I would want, but they are so hyper specific for my company and they do a great job getting me close to what I need.

Whale of a POS

Always been wonderful.

PROS

I love the back end functionality and how it isn't made to be pretty or cute, but indeed just to function and function well/

CONS

There have been times where we can't figure out a feature, but customer support will fix us up in minutes. I do wish there was more interconnectivity with other software like Untappd but not enough to think about leaving.

Arryved FTW

PROS

The "dashboard" view is super convenient when I'm on the go, that quick snapshot look makes me feel secure when I have to step away form the business. The reports, and ability to dial-in on certain values is critical for decision making, something that was missing from our last POS. The equipment itself feels less bulky and intrusive than other systems we've used and is easily customizable for need. We constantly praise the back end analytics and find that even better than the mechanics itself are the people behind the technology. We are year 3 users and are still fining new ways to improve what we do. The support team is always there to talk us through a new process or lead us in setting up a new function. We're grateful they answer our calls... with a smile... or at least it sounds like they're smiling. Overall, we're quite happy with Arryved. They're stuck with us now!

CONS

Some fine details are missing from the technology. However, whenever we point out those small needs, the support team jumps into action. For example, we would like the ability to have different categories reported to Quickbooks (food vs. draft sales for instance).

Arryved rocks!

Arryved has been nothing short of spectacular. From sales, to support, to implementation I would give high marks across the board. It feels like they are in business with you, and not just a software provider to whom you are simply another customer.

PROS

The reporting is fantastic and I am still wrapping my head around the various reports available. After a training session, most of the features and usability are very straight forward. If there ever is a question, an extensive knowledge base is available to assist. I find it is unnecessary to contact support because the answer is so easily available. Our staff has had minimal complications with anything surrounding their interactions with the software, and when they do happen, it is generally a user error on my own part. There are not many drawbacks to the software. If I had to nit pick a couple, I think the UI could be polished to meet the cleanliness of some of the other competitors. That said, I've always been function over form, so this was never a deal breaker.

We began our business with Arryved. It was the first POS option explored. After reviewing the service, it seemed like a fantastic fit, but wanted to explore some of the alternatives in the market. After doing my homework I found that most of the other POS solutions just didn't stack up. As a new brewery, the most important factors for us were ease of use, support, and price. Arryved has completely knocked it out of the park on all fronts!

Best POS for a brewery

We've loved Arryved ever since we switched from a legacy system 2 years ago, and I would never look back. We've trialed other competitors, and nothing has had the ease of use or customer service that Arryved has.

PROS

Arryved is extremely intuitive for both administrators and users. Training new bartenders is extremely easy, and everything works how they expect it to. Arryved allows us provide extremely fast service, and we actually were able to go from needed 7 staff behind the bar to 6 on our busiest days.

CONS

No current problems, but when there are the occasinal issue (ie, a printer disconnects or something), the customer service is extremely quick and helpful.

More functionality with reporting, being able to open a tab and give the card back to the customer without being charge a higher merchant fee, and customer service.

Halfway Crooks Beer

We have had a great experience with Arryved. Their customer service is outstanding and they are quick to get on the phone and answer any technical issues during a sometimes stressful service.

PROS

I like how quickly we were able to deploy QR code generation. Online ordering via QR has expaneded our business and allowed us to also work more efficiently in our FOH operations. The interface is easy to use and also visually appealing to the customer. I think it competes with more high end products such as square, toast, etc.

CONS

We have printer issues every now and then and tickets that get dropped during service. We have troubleshooted our internet and router settings and they appear to not be an issue. So, I would say lost tickets and ticket printer functionality.

Best customer support/POS on the market

After trying 4 other POS systems in 2 years we are incredibly grateful to find Arryved where we don't feel like we are being ripped off by high monthly software fees or high processing fees! Their customer experience is second to none plus their software works and has pretty much all the functionality I could need. My bartenders who each have a decade or more of industry experience all love it and all agree it's the best they have ever used.

PROS

The software is easy to use, has all the functionality I need and the best damn customer service I have ever encountered pretty much anywhere.

CONS

Sometimes small glitches pop up in the software but they always get fixed

Nothing Better for Breweries

Unlike any other software I have used in my life, Arryved does an exceptional job of getting to know and listening to its customers. Arryved's ethos is based on providing their customers and our guests with everything we believe we need and features/functions that we may not even know how much we could use to make a better experience on the front end and the back end

PROS

The company does whatever it takes to make it the best option for its customers.

CONS

It was not initially intuitive, but very quickly became quite comprehensible. However, Arryved has and continues to listen to its customers to make the software work in the way we want.

Best in class for taproom POS

PROS

Arryved is easy to deploy, requires a low upfront cost, is easily scalable, and far less cumbersome than most of its competitors. As a tech-first company, customer service is easy and you're always dealing directly with the company and never a reseller or third party. Your concerns are listened to and "your" emergency is "their" emergency, which creates a feeling of being on the same team should problems arise.

CONS

The reporting isn't perfect. I don't know of hardly any software where it is, though. I do think their staff is working in earnest, though, to provide us our data in the way we need it for a large Power BI-based "dashboard" system that we're trying to finalize.

Accounting and Report Perspective

Arryved was a significant improved from our previous POS system and the flexibility to operate the wireless tablets around the facility and off-site is wonderful.

PROS

Cloud based system with tiered user levels. Daily sync with our financials. Portable tablets with single tab tracking for all locations.

CONS

There was a learning curve to understand all the available reports, and sales data for a period greater than 30 days must be exported.

Quality through and through

I honestly can only say this, another POS company could come in and actually offer to pay us before I would even consider switching.

PROS

The system is user friendly, it's not a large lift for training and understanding. The ease of use for both the customer, administrator, AND staff is the biggest key. The fact you have industry and technology professionals working together to build this is clearly evident in it's easy to use design.

CONS

As a data nerd I could use a little more flexibility on reports. For example we did a ticketed event and the process to produce the list of people that bought (either via email or cc name) would be very helpful.

Overall very happy with the functionality and customer support.

PROS

This software is very straight forward and easy to use. It is simple and quick to train new staff and fill-ins. I am able to make changes remotely as an admin and have the changes take effect immediately.

CONS

The hardware credit card swipers can be a little temperamental and you have to manually type in credit cards.

The best tool for your brewery

I absolutely love working with Arryved. They continually improve the product and the features offered, and their service is absolutely second to none - it is the best in the industry! This is an incredibly robust product that makes your life much easier inside the brewery.

PROS

Incredibly feature-rich and incredibly easy to use. Very intuitive and the support for the product is second to none!

CONS

We have had some issues with the card readers not working. They are not as durable as the tablets and software.

Easy enough for a brewer to use

PROS

Ease of monthly reports for processing State taxes. Ability to see sales dollars in real time. Support is very helpful.

CONS

only issue has been downtime with a 'red hand" when processing cards.
