Great tracking software for Graduate admissions.

The Reviewer portal is a bit cumbersome. Our departments scholarship committees find it difficult to use.

The system is very user friendly and the staff are very helpful and supportive.

Working more efficiently (no errors, make awards quickly and timely)  and reporting is easier.

I am most impressed with the accuracy and depth of the results. One word to describe this software is “personalized.

I used to be able to call and get someone on the phone or online chat with someone. Now, I always have to leave a message and never get anyone on the online chat.

It helps us manage the both the application and selection process for over 150 different scholarships. It's easy for students to apply and for donors and selection committees to review.

Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use. Like the ability to add notes, and ease of making changes.

I have missed updating dates in the application from year to year.

I love the ease with which you can create and modify applications, the post-acceptance feature, and user messaging abilities.

It can be hard to track where scholarships are in the process.

The website does its job by assisting and managing in the process of offering scholarships. It is easy to use and very intuitive.

This is a scholarship software which is very useful for the institutions.

Making changes is super easy and the ability to add notes is great. Customer support is also excellent.

This is a good system for our University. Even sporadic users (professors that need to login to review an application) can move through the process quickly.

The interface can be clunky and often times, setting up a new scholarship can be problematic (redundancies don't always prevent transcription errors).

Takes a lot of set-up time on the front end and if your college hasnt provide ample support, its a lot of work for a few people.

Helps to keep track of grant information in a database that is easy to search. Overwhelming amount of functions.

This is confusing for people who use the portal, but do not use Blackbaud grantmaking regularly.

We like being able to build custom reports and automate reminders, and it's easy to pull up a grant history or run a tax status check.

The document check in/out feature is not designed well. It's designed to check documents out of the system and back in.

It's one of the most robust systems out there. Many options to run reports.

We had to switch away from GIFTS as it became a burden for us to control and was full of unnecessary tools.

Too much work and room for error. I feel the pricing is high and not consistent between their clients.

I'm still frustrated at the lack of integration between Blackbaud's suite of products.

I like that it integrates with the financial component and that now is an online platform.

Unfortunately, Grantmaking is missing many key components. The User Interface is clunky and not-intuitive.

I really enjoy the ease of use (after some training).

We can customize the applications and reports to fit our needs. I am able to run reports or queries to see detailed information on payments, outstanding reports, applications, budget items, etc.

Part of the reason we stuck with Blackbaud when transitioning from Gifts Classic is because we were moving to FENXT for our financial software.

BBGM is a very robust tool and allows for customization of every aspect of the system.

Tech support gets back to you quickly. There are times that a case takes too long but overall all tech staff have been great to work with.

Overall, I like the product. There are some kinks that are still being worked out and hopefully that will come soon.
