Software with the User in Mind

This software has allowed us to move away from spreadsheets and have a single source of truth. It allows more seamless integration with each discipline allowing everyone to see the most up to date information.

PROS

This software is created with the day to day user in mind. It's meant for supply chain and isn't just an add on. It's intuitive and follows a standard procurement workflow. It's robust and flexible, you can easily scale up or down pending the size of the project and you can customize based on your organizations preferences. Favorite features -Reporting -Dashboard -Project Scaffold

CONS

I wouldn't say there is anything I don't like about the software I just look forward to seeing other functionality become available

The software we were using didn't meet our needs, we were spending more time outside of the system doing manual task then inside.

Easy to use

PROS

Like that you can update status of POs for all projects in real time ,can open multiple screens at the same time and generate and customize reports easily.

CONS

Still needs improvement on inventory /material management side.

Great reporting flexibility

PROS

Customizing reports in CurrentSCM for your own use, is so easy that all software should be like this! It has been great to export to Excel and then format it as required for each of my clients.

CONS

I'm looking forward to seeing future developments of the software for estimating Projects and integrating it into Project Controls.

Comprehensive, flexible and accessible

PROS

The system is able to provide a start-to-finish platform to track material from requisition to payment and close-out. It is also flexible enough to customize to fit most supply chain applications and is accessible through a web browser.

CONS

Currently there is no feature in the Bill of Materials to track non-cost sub-items.

Manage Procurement with Control

Very positive and look forward to learn more about the system I use it more.

Workflow, less manual work, reminders and dashboards

CONS

I'm not fully aware of the system capabilities, since I need more time to examine the full cycle of procurement.
