Overall it has been a great addition to our operation. It does what it promises, integrates well with our other software, and has let us scale fulfillment without adding headcount. Combined with genuinely helpful customer service, it has been well worth it for us.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

ShipHawk has let us do a lot more with far fewer man hours. The automated rate shopping and cartonization mean orders go out the most cost-effective way without anyone manually picking boxes and carriers order by order. It also integrates cleanly with NetSuite and the rest of our systems, so orders flow straight through fulfillment without us re-keying anything. For a growing apparel brand shipping both wholesale and DTC, that automation has been the biggest win. Their customer service has been top notch too whenever we've needed help dialing something in.

#### Cons

If I have to pick something, there is a learning curve up front. Getting all the shipping rules, pack configurations, and carrier settings dialed in took some time because there is a lot the software can do. Once it is set up it largely runs itself, and their support team helped us through the pieces we got stuck on.

#### Reasons for choosing ShipHawk

More customizable to fit our needs and directly integrated with TrueCommerce

I would highly recommend Shiphawk to anyone. The Shiphawk team is knowledgeable and didn't rush our implementation process. This allowed us to work through practical issues without feeling hung out to dry. Our team has had zero complaints about Shiphawk.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

We switched to Shiphawk a little over a year ago. With ShipHawk, it’s very straightforward to investigate what’s going on with shipments. Our warehouse staff found it incredibly user friendly which made implementation headache free.

#### Cons

We haven't had any issues with the software. The ticket system is great and we've had answers to our questions the same day we submit a support inquiry.

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

We were very unhappy with Pacejet. We consistently experienced technical issues that took too long to resolve.

### Excellent Sales Pitch with Terrible Follow Through

We wasted a lot of time and money waiting on them to fix things and jump through hoops when they should have been able to tell us up front that they were not a good solution for a company our size. They new we needed to operate without full automation for a while until we launched NetSuite. After 8 agonizing months of weekly setup meetings we find that there solution made it take 4.5 minutes to produce one BOL. That was the best time out of many tries. It takes 30 seconds with other systems. We set up and compared 4 other competitors while we were waiting on ShipHawk. Each one in a matter of hours.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 1/5
- Value for money: 1/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 1/5

#### Pros

It integrated with NetSuite and offered the potential to automate our shipping process so it cut down on the number of people needed just to create BOL's. However it took so long to try to onboard we had to abandon the process because we were afraid we would run out of time before NetSuite was ready. We gave them 8 months with weekly meetings and hardly got anywhere.

#### Cons

Terrible implementation team that spent a lot of time learning on the job.

#### Reasons for choosing ShipHawk

Mostly timing of when we could be onboarded and the NetSuite integration potential.

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

We were looking for a partner that had NetSuite integration.

#### Vendor response

### A WMS that delivers on its promises

- Overall rating: 5/5

- Industry: Warehousing
- Company size: 201-500 employees

I can't speak highly enough of our implementation team. They engaged with us to deeply understand our processes and worked relentlessly to make sure they delivered a solution that was purpose built for our needs. They are easy to communicate with and made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The Shiphawk team was engaged with us quickly and worked tirelessly to understand "the why" of how we did things. With that deep understanding they developed and tested solutions and were tireless in delivering a product that supported our company. The product is easy to use and easy to deploy. It has eliminated a lot of complexity in our processes without sacrificing business requirements.

#### Cons

The user interface is not polished or pretty. I believe it should have a polished UI that speaks to all of the usefulness the product delivers on.

#### Reasons for choosing ShipHawk

We would have had to change some of our processes to get RFSmart implemented. Shiphawk took our requirements and developed around them and delivered on their promises.

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

We never could get NetSuite WMS to work well with our processes. We frequently ran into data errors that NS WMS could not work through and routinely had to default back to the native UI to complete transactions.

We have used ShipHawk for about 3 years and have saved thousands of dollars in shipping costs and an equal amount saved in user errors when sending packages out. Some of the features we use and enjoy are as follows. 1.) Ease of use. Smart packing is highly recommended. Once properly set up ShipHawk is very easy for the average warehouse worker to understand and use efficiently. 2.) Highly configurable rules engine. ShipHawk can accommodate almost any shipping policy into to easy to use rule sets that can be configured easily. 3.) Customer support is top-notch. I can stand behind the support that ShipHawk offers its customer base. They have always been available for us when issues arise and I enjoy working with their support team. 4.) Integrates well with Netsuite and implementation with ShipHawk onboarding team was very professional. I would highly recommend ShipHawk to other companies and have on numerous occasions.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The efficiency of using ShipHawk for basic warehouse workers as well as the ease of use in administration of ShipHawk rules and users is also a big plus. Training users in the warehouse used to take weeks now in a few days they can be up to speed with most warehouse workers.

#### Cons

I don't see a lot of cons using Ship Hawk. Updates can be tricky due to our custom instance of ShipHawk. But that con is not entirely on them.

#### Reasons for choosing ShipHawk

ShipHawk was highly recommended from our NetSuite on-boarding team. Upon reviewing the software I found it to be the right fit for our company and warehouse structure due to the ease of use it provided.

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

NetSuite was not efficient for our warehouse workers to use effectively. User spent too much time looking for data to make shipping decisions. Most of the time the users couldn't choose the best shipping method for the packages.

### Easiest TSM Solution

We went with integrating Shiphawk via API and then mid-way through implemented Netsuite so we also had to switch Shiphawk over to Netsuite and basically start-over. Our first implementation specialist was not helpful and non-responsive. We are thankful we were able to get a new specialist who has been helpful, responsive and accommodating. ShipHawk's TSM platform, great imps specialist, and responsive support team are fantastic!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Implementation was easy and straight forward and a breeze to get staff trained on the new platform. I really like the rules engine. There are some unique business requirements that Shiphawk was able to accommodate. This is a biggie for us and a major win!

#### Cons

There are some features we'd like to have, such as the ability to customize and automatically trigger a shipping confirmation. A more simplified way to brand the pick tickets, packing slip, and tracking page. Share dashboard views with your team so each person doesn't have to create their own.

#### Reasons for choosing ShipHawk

Rules engine and better UI. Implemented Pacejet at a previous company and was never able to get it implemented to the warehouse. It was too complicated for the warehouse to use.

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

We needed a solution that would work with Netsuite.

Would highly recommend to any person looking to implement a WMS or TMS, this would be the first place I would start. Use them to build your requirements off their system and compare to the rest during your due diligence process.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Ease of use of the product was key. Bringing in a new process into a fast paced manufacturing environment is never easy. The product had to be easy to navigate and troubleshoot problems in processing in order to keep productivity up.

#### Cons

From a WMS perspective, the user interface could be a bit more modern. Not a hinderance to operations at all though.

#### Reasons for choosing ShipHawk

At the end of the day, if the products all meet your requirements, the referrals and word of mouth along with the implementation team is what was the differentiator. We looked at ShipHawk being a partner in Maxima's growth aspirations, and leveraging their team and their wealth of experience and knowledge from previous projects was critical in guiding us through our successful implementation.

#### Cons

12/10. The implementation was super smooth. We rarely have problems. We have over 140,000 SKUs and Shiphawk can handle it all.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The ability to get real time quotes from inside a quote or sales order in Netsuite. It also gives our shipping team a portal entirely dedicated to them. They can see our cost, the weights, dims, and BOL all within seconds. The ability to create rules based on nearly any criteria allows us to refine our shipping costs even more. we ship items that roll up so on paper, they are hundreds of feet long. With rules, we can turn it into a box that is just 48" wide. Customer support is the best of any software company we have/are using. Usually, responses happen within 5 hours or so.

#### Cons

Sometimes we wish we could see more information that exists in the backend. You have to submit support tickets to know why certain carriers don't show up as an option. You also can't compare things like negotiated rates and published rates while making a shipping decision.

Overall, ShipHawk gets the job done. It meets the needs we have for small parcel shipping with is huge. But with other options on the market, do you research. They are constantly making updates based on user feedback and their support team is A+

### ShipHawk is the best whiteglove and LTL aggregator out there with full API support

- Overall rating: 5/5

- Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years
- Reviewed: December 2018

We run an online marketplace and we need to ship products and integrate all the results (pricing, tracking, delivery dates, etc.) into our system so that we can provide updates to our users, track them for our own book keeping, and follow up if things go wrong. UPS and FedEx were easy and reliable, but we also ship large irregular items that require whiteglove handling or crating. Those items require working with much smaller, more specialized shipping partners that lack the technological infrastructure of a UPS and are very difficult to integrate with. We spent many dozens of hours of staff time each week on the phone with shipping companies and individual drivers trying to keep our transit information and ETA estimates updated and tracking down missing shipments. ShipHawk abstracts all of that away and provides an API interface much closer to something like UPS, complete with status updates and all. Definitely a much easier, smoother, more scalable process for us.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

ShipHawk does all the heavy lifting to get updated tracking information, negotiate rates, and work with shipping partners. That frees your own staff up to make your own product better instead of spending all their time on the phone with truck drivers scattered around the country. It also means that you only need to integrate with a single service (ShipHawk) rather than the dozens of specialized regional shippers out there. Better yet, ShipHawk provides a modern RESTful API and hides the fact that many of the smaller shippers still just ask you to email them spreadsheets.

#### Cons

There are many, many options involved in shipping something complex like a heavy bronze statue. What sort of packing job and materials should be used, what sort of machinery is necessary to load it onto and off of the truck, etc. Many of these are opaque and confusing unless you're familiar with the details and terminology of the shipping business. ShipHawk abstracts away some of these and is very responsive to questions and queries, which takes the sting out of this.

ShipHawk was great. Our implementation manager, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was incredible, everyone on their customer service team responds quickly and helps resolve any issues or concerns. This is a great, straightforward company to work with.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

This web-based intergration effortlessly ties into Netsuite. I researched many of the leading shipping and fulfillment solutions available to tie into Netsuite and communicate without heavy intensive customizations and massive scripting. Shiphawk does all of that and more. Shiphawk allows my team to communicate with each other and improve efficiency. Our shipping times, shipping errors and processing times all have been reduced. I was looking for an extremely affordable service, that was web-based and not limited by users or locations. I also needed something that could be implemented without having dedicated IT people working on it. Finally, I needed to make sure that my customers would see improved communication as well. Shiphawk allows our company to improve our shipping and fulfillment operations without even needing custom hardware.

#### Cons

The only real con that I can speak of is that there are a couple of insignificant features that could be built out. There are a few small customizations that just stop short of giving improved capability. All of these things I was able to resolve with a few Netsuite Workflows. So all in all, not really an issue. Plus I know they just released their WMS so I suspect that is where some of those features have been expanded on.

Overall experience has been very good (see "Pros" section above). Additionally, customer service has been very strong overall (upgraded to "exceptional" in recent months).

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

We love the master pack system. After initial set up of the system, Shiphawk now populates order weights within a 1/4 of a pound, eliminating the need to weigh each order. We basically just verify the ship-to address, click and ship. The system is easy to learn, very user friendly. Anyone can figure out how to use Shiphawk.

#### Cons

For a while, every 3 months or so, the system would go down briefly, requiring us to manually ship orders using FedEx's ship station portal. It seems like the frequency of these outages has been decreasing, however. Leadership has been very receptive to our feedback on this issue.

#### Reasons for choosing ShipHawk

Flexibility to configure the product the way we needed to (master packs, lithium batteries, up front rating).

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

The prior product required us to manually weigh each package and configure packages. A lot more room for error.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

The thing that I think is unique about ShipHawk as opposed to other kinds of software vendors that I've dealt with is the fact that they're very responsive and they take the time to learn your business. Our implementation was excellent.

#### Cons

There are no real cons to speak of. The one limitation you should be aware of is International Shipping if you have locations that are outside of North America that need to originate shipments. You can ship internationally from North America but not have shipments originate in ShipHawk for a non North America location.

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

Speed and real time rates were much better. Able to properly handle multiple fulfillments to one customer at the same time very quickly.

Shiphawk has solved for so many issues in our business. This solution brings about the communication and process improvement to our sales, operations and AR team. Shiphawk is worth it for the following reasons: Simplifies the shipping process with repeatable data from netsuite. It also brings all carriers into a single solution. This allows our team to focus on the value add instead of remembering lots of information that can simply be loaded on the sku. Reporting has helped us see how, where and what carriers are used to make better strategic decisions. Sales use the get rates to make live shipping decisions while the customer is on the phone. AR has benefited from the custom rules sales implements. Overall this is worth investing in.

#### Cons

The rule system while works could be better & you have to have a plan on how to write them to make sure they function. Being able to rank them in order on how they process, create folders for structure etc would all be helpful in keeping them orginized.

#### Pros

How easy it was to integrate with Netsuite and to keep it update. We love how easy it is for the users to ship out the packages and it saves us so much time.

#### Cons

Not much I don't like because ShipHawk has helped us customize the parts we didn't like so the software has met our needs as we continue to grow as a company

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

Software was slow and they were unable to meet our needs as we were growing. Couldn't deliver the customizations we were looking for

#### Pros

ShipHawk enabled us to ship a lot more efficiently. With the eCommerce side of our business, we have a lot of orders that are very similar and we can do bulk shipping and bulk processing and get orders out faster.

#### Cons

Packing Rules don't really fit how our items are able to be shipped. It is a great concept but it hasn't been able to work for us.

#### Reasons for switching to ShipHawk

We had outgrown our previous solution and were looking for something that would not only fit our needs now, but something that could also grow with us.

#### Pros

Able to connect to Retail Website. Gives shoppers accurate shipping rates before purchasing. Able to filter orders by warehouse so each site can only see what they need to see.

#### Cons

Doesn't have quantity in decimals. 0.5 lbs of nails for example or selling by the lbs. Large modifications take a long time to complete or cost extra to speed up the programming part.

#### Reasons for choosing ShipHawk

More features, able to handle multiple warehouses, notes to order, keeps software up to date.
