Prior to implementation of Simfoni, we had general information by supplier spend, but didn't tie out with any business unit, stakeholder, commodity, etc. Simfoni's implementation resource worked closely with my finance team to help extract the required data from our systems. Ideas were shared when there were road blocks and there was always a partnership to what can we do, versus what a system only allowed - which has been my experience in the past with other larger software solution providers.

Easy to configure. I am able to easily pull both macro and micro detail in relation to the information that we provide on a monthly basis to our spend. We include GL, Cost Centers, and Line of Business filtering to allow me to have a data based discussion with my stakeholders.

I have not encountered any issues thus far that I dislike about Simfoni's Spend Analytics Tool.

My experience with Simfoni products and their staff overall has been excellent. We were looking for a system that could act as an onboarding process for incoming requests before they were entered into our ERP system. We are expanding our range of KPI and how we can further improve our processes. This system is user friendly, is filled with help instructions and new enhancements being implemented. I feel that I more than got our money's worth with the modules that we have started with and I look forward to continuing to grow with this company. They really listen and deliver what is needed.

Firstly, the initial salesperson impressed me over other companies with her friendly, authentic, non-salesy conversation. She got my attention which led to questions, demos, and eventually the right fit for my team that I didn't think existed. By implementing the Workflow and eSourcing modules into our very niche procurement process, we were able to improve the transparency, efficiency, and reporting capability by tenfold. My department was able to capture all incoming needs from global requestors, upload items, source vendors, compare best bids, report and communicate the findings all within the same system. I am relieved to have found a program that will allow my team to move away from antiquated procedures which were a high risk for errors and revolved around a high volume of emails, PDFs, spreadsheets and good old fashioned pen and paper. There is room to grow with the Simfoni products too. When we are ready...we can connect our Simfoni modules to our ERP system and also manage our spend better! We would not be where we are today if it weren't for the knowledgeable and patient Success Manager who helped us every step of the way.

Given our specific business needs at the time, Simfoni had a little too many 'bells & whistles' which felt overwhelming at first. We were accustomed to a much more simple design and it took us a while to adjust our mindset to see where this platform could take us.

It is a good tool. But stakeholder engagement is vital to ensure that detailed analysis across all categories and functions is possible

The Software is easy to use. As an general information resource it works fine. But when you need to get to what the details are of actually managing spend and analysing data, there has been no consideration building in the stakeholder requirements to capture critical data.

Easy to use. Not a lot of steps to get the end result - excel spreadsheet. Suppliers can easily navigate thru the screens to find any documents and to input their information.Exporting is very easy. Communicating with others (Suppliers) is very easy - and important to keep track.Add/Delete is very simple. I am very impressed with the new U/I.

So far, I can't tell if I have any concerns at the moment.

Firstly, [sensitive content hidden] has been a huge help - wholly reassuring, very clear and has provided consistent support throughout the implementation process. He has been hand-holding whilst empowering me to jump right into using the system. Secondly, the analytics tool is just beyond exciting! Being able to have the dashboards already set up using our historical data and drilling down into information has fuelled curiosity to explore new projects, identify new efficiency or cost saving opportunities and has helped save hours of time every month.

I think being left to explore it can sometimes feel a little scary because there's so much the system can do.... but a lot like learning to drive a car - doing the projects in real time with the Simfoni teams' live support has been instrumental to being able to use the system independently quickly. Instead of bombarding me with everything the system can do on day one, [sensitive content hidden] was particularly good at scouting what I needed to do with a particular project, working through it together, and then advising how to use the additional features as and when they became required. It is a slightly pricier system than the others we reviewed, however given the functionality and the support, I'd justify making the same decision.

We can look at our data in multiple ways depending upon the analysis needed, i.e. Spend by supplier, Spend by Category, Spend by location, Spend by department, Spend by payment terms, Tail spend to understand small purchases. We update data in Simfoni monthly after the close of the previous month and generally, the data that we send is updated within a week. Also, the supplier's name is normalized by Simfoni so we can get the entire global spend by supplier which often gives us better visability of our spend vs. what the supplier can maintain.

There are some new features, i.e. eSourcing that are availalbe, but we have not seen the product fully devloped to our needs to date.

I have found it very easy to use and the support offered is very prompt and very helpful.

I don't feel there are any features missing. It seems to be running a bit slow as of now.

The supplier diversity management product is most impactful in my role. It's easy to use, meaningful dashboards, and with great support.

It would be great to offer Tier I and Tier II diverse spend in the spend analysis and dashboards.

Easy to use. Set up time has been really fast. The account manager has fantastic to deal with.

I would like more flexibility to adjust classification rules. Also, I have asked for 2 years if we could get a way to confirm the level of confidence in how information has been classified.

The Customer Success Team is excellent - enjoy working with them

Would like to see them have more modules around Spend Analytics - their core dashboard is great but need more modules

The PowerBI backbone is very easily understood for anyone using the MS suite.

The AI/ML still needs a lot of work - too many items are ending up unclassified or placed into the wrong categories.

I am very happy with the Simfoni platform. We've had nothing but a positive experience from implementation, customer service and our sales rep. It's easy to use, captures data in real time and our clients are thrilled with the results.

Product is very easy to use. Real time data and reporting analysis that I can share with our clients is very good. Customer Service is always quick to answer questions.

Once you get familiar with the platform and understand the basic elements you can navigate more efficiently. Nothing glaring not to like.

My role with this tool is to understand the spending witht the suppliers in the Region and to manage them well. The graphical chart allow us to quickly read the underlying data over the year plus the option to filter as per the quater is quite efficient. Overall it has been a great experince in using Simfoni. The Spend Overview is most impactful, especially now that it also has many color making it visually convenient. Yes, data is extract from our main systems but we usually don’t find it up to date and live - so there is always an approximate margin we need to keep when calculating the spend with any supplier or working on a category. Also the focus mode on each block with 3 dot option to export data has simplified extracting useful information on Excel.

I had highlighted this in my previous survey - not sure if it is possible to implement. The only thing that really doesnt work for me is the Vertical Visualisation Bar on the left side - why can we not push it inwards when not requried - it takes a lot of unnessary space on the screen. Otherwise the tool has become faster and eaiser to use - Thanks :)

By utilizing the eSourcing module, RFIs, RFP/Qs and correspondence with bidders are easily stored and shared within the team.

The eSourcing module has been most impactful for my group. The module is easy to use, allows for numerous bidders and reduces the bid evaluation period by 75%!

The only issues found with the system, is the speed. The system is slow loading information and changing screens.

I will say is a great tool for any procurement professional in charge of category management that is looking to use data to help them make better informed decisions and at the same time simply the workload on creating RFPs for multiple vendors.

Easy-to-use platform that provides excellent tools for analytical work and gives you quick and easy to digest information to help you make inform decisions regarding your spend.

Now with the rise of AI, there is an opportunity to implement AI tools to help simplify a lot of the manual task of inputting some data.

Simfoni is a great product for spend analysis and they provide excellent customer service.

Simfoni was easy to deploy and has an easy to understand UI. We use it frequently to monitor spend and identify potential sourcing opportunities. [sensitive content hidden] and team have been awesome to work with and are always quick to respond to questions or issues that arise with the tool.

We've had some minor issues with categorization accuracy over time, but [sensitive content hidden] and team have worked though these issues with our team.

To utilize the use of the Simfoni tool to the utmost by doing RFI/RFP's across the total Pitney Bowes Enterprise to drive the best contracts and pricing!

I have been a previous user and of the EC Sourcing tool and now that they have been acquired by Simfoni we are a long time and loyal user. Working with Simfoni team to enhance UI and submitted some recommendations for tool enhancements.

The Simfoni team needs to be able to provide solutions in ensuring we get data refreshes often, quarterly update is insufficient. Any procurement professional requires to have spend insights on a minimum at a monthly basis.
