Overall, even though padlet is simplistic in design and nature it is a helpful and quick tool, especially in the classroom. Users are able to quickly share their ideas and is therefore a perfect starting point for conversations, seminars, or surveys.

Padlet is a simple way for groups of people to share ideas, brainstorm, and start conversations. In the classroom setting I have used it many times for students to anonymously project ideas on the screen. This easy to access software can help students to get out of their shells and contribute to a conversation/seminar in ways that they otherwise wouldn't have.

Padlet's features are functional and easy to use, however they are at times simplistic and lack the more refined features that would be helpful. It feels like an online version of having individuals place stickynotes on a corkboard. It can also be difficult to vet inappropriate submissions if you are not vigilant.

A payment system in a place like our where the payment is not possible because of the of the inadequate facilities of online payment. The payment is designed from the context of Western and advanced countries. We cannot pay if we need to. We sometime run short of allotted resources provided by padlet. Sharing large amounts of content with large groups of people in an attractive manner that appeals to visual users of today is made easy with Padlet. I love their sunny disposition and little quirky messages; their customer service is ace.

Would like to see more integration with Google Workspace; displaying cover images for content like Docs, Sheets, and Jamboard would make it more attractive. Would also love to see the format options grow beyond the few they have. Would also love to see folder types posts where materials can be grouped by topic so as not to clutter space and overwhelm users.It would be ideal to include ready-to-use design templates that initiate organisation for projects like a storyboard and reflective thinking like rose, thorn and bud. These would be useful across industries.

Easy to use. Professional presentation. Extremely essential during covid/online learning. Allows for replication to save time. Colourful and meaningful background options plus online search and link with own files and across tools. Timeline options and can add clips.

Maybe more features like check lists? Marketing to universities as a option for lesson plans. This package is not well know amongst academics and required 'convincing' as a professional option.

The problem is as stated above, that is, I would like to be able to know which student posted which of the comments so that a few students do not ruin my lessons with inappropriate comments and ridiculous pictures even vulgar in nature.

It is time efficient and student friendly when used in my low ability classes in English Language. I could elicit input for example in writing an introductory paragraph from an entire class within a 30 minute period as the first post serves as an example for the rest to post. Subsequently, even the weakest student gets the idea and posts his/her paragraph. After this comes my feedback. I am able to correct their mistakes on the whiteboard on which their posts are projected and they are able to correct their mistakes using their iPads, on the spot. I am able to focus on the best posts and get the other students to emulate the best students.

When students post, I am unable to know who posted what unless the person puts his/her name on the post. I have a few mischievious students who post inappropriate comments and hide behind the curtain of anonymity, hurting the others ' feelings and learning process. Could staff at Padlet improve on this such that all posts could be traced to the persons posting them. This would make Padlet an excellent teaching tool.

It has. been great during lockdown / online classes and now in the classroom it is also fantastic . It is easy to see - in real time - which students are doing the work / preparing their presentations on time - and also very easy for me as an educator to correct grammar / spelling mistakes .

Very easy to use + FUN for students to use , so they research/prepare their presentations at home and no class time is wasted on explaining what to do .

Sometimes the slides get mixed up , also a little confusing to have writing both above and below slides - A good option might be to have a menu where you could restrict writing to only section ABOVE the visuals or the section BELOW the visuals - or both ( if you choose this option ) .

There have been some issues with student accessibility but overall, the platform has been very useful and time-saving.

I use this platform to receive homework from my students or to reiterate any announcements or rules in the classroom. This is the best and easiest way for the students to finish their homework, and for me to grade their work and share the corrections with everyone. The students can view all the graded homework and my comments, seeing what works and what doesn't. The students enjoy uploading images and videos to illustrate their point.

It would work better if everything was invisible until approved and graded. Some students think they can plagiarize other students' work. They never get away with it, but temptation is still too strong. Some students have been able to gain access to administrator settings, which has been unfortunate.

I love the ease and the aesthetic appeal of Padlet. When my district went to online learning during COVID, I was scambling to find something I could use with my limited skills. I've never looked back! Padlet is still a daily part of my teaching.

It has been a total game changer for me. It is my teaching management system. I also create individual padlets for my students and we use them to interact with each other outside of class for self- regulated learning and feedback.

Sometimes the timelines can be glitchy when adding padlets to them.

Most recently, students used Padlet to have a tournament of Hispanic foods. They researched traditional foods from different countries and posted photos and descriptions of each.Each day, we had elimination challenges between two countries until, like in team sports tournaments, the last countries and their foods had play-offs and a winner was selected. This year it was Guatemala. The students got to try an authentic breakfast of Guatemalan foods as a celebration of their work. Padlet made this tournament possible.

I love offering the same Padlet page to participants from different course sections who have never met in person. It inspires students to give their authentic best quality posts that everyone wants to read and respond to while staying on topic, knowing they are accountable for their submissions.

There are only a few basic formats available to start, which is fine for what we need, but perhaps new setup formats will become available soon.

I highly recommended the added value it offers to teaching. The ways I can use it in classes are numerous, and its functionality and ease of use makes it a " go to " tool.

Padlet is perfect for the "English as a Foreign Language" classes I teach. It is especially valuable for writing where students can share their sentences anonymously and have them critiqued.

While I am used to it now, I would suggest an easily viewable privacy notification when creating padlets (e.g., "Your present Padlet is Secret. Click here for more information.") This would be especially valuable to teachers with privacy concerns for their classes. It would also be beneficial for teachers creating a Padlet on the go. In addition, more background photos would be nice.

Padlet is the swiss army knife of teaching at my institution! It can do just about everything! No need to buy multiple products for mindmapping, brainstorming activities, text-based discussions, video-based asynchronous discussions, etc.

Using padlet enables remote participants to interact directly with participants in the room. It allows for immediate feedback and responses to ideas and is great at visually archiving idea generating sessions. Highly recommended.
