Pros:

It was simpler to use and your staff were very helpful. AS it was the first time I had used Ticket Source there were some things I did not understand Every time I rang your staff were very helpful.

Cons:

Was not always clear how to pay. Three customers did not work out how to pay on line. They paid in cash at the event so it was OK.

TicketSource, the best event ticketing software

My experience was near perfect from the point when I set up the event initially, to when we got our final event payment. Support is always helpful, and the interface is easy to use. TicketSource is also brilliant in the way that it can be as simple as you want, or you can go really in-depth and configure your event to exactly how you want it.

Pros:

I love how human TicketSource seems to feel. It really feels like it is run by people who have used other worse ticketing platforms, and have solved almost all other issues that most other ticketing platforms have, like having to buy a subscription. Not to mention, the customer service is unmatched. I sent an email on a Sunday, and got a response very quickly, even though it was a weekend! Brilliant company.

Cons:

It is really quite hard to pinpoint one specific thing about TicketSource that I dislike. It is mainly just small updates that I would like to see to even further improve my experience, for example being able to book seats in house seats in a section that is otherwise fully booked, instead of getting the "section full" message. That being said, these are all minor things and their service is still amazing.

Reasons for choosing TicketSource

TicketSource had very high reviews compared to their competitors. They also seemed much more "human", and their pricing system was just better in my opinion.

Great service for multiple event community festivals

I like the quick answering of the Ticketsource helpline phone by someone in the UK (Wales) who is of course familiar with our language and vernacular. Help lines in the Philippines may be on offer 24/7 but they dont understand the nuances of an issue being discussed. I am running a multi-event festival it has become very simple to set up the system now.

Pros:

It improves each time we use it, adding welcome new features. It is complex but logical.

Cons:

The public access to a current event shows say X Tickets available. It would help if it said X tickets available out of Y, where Y is the maximum. I encourage my multiple small event organizers to watch their ticket bookings (they dont have access to the back of house) and it gets confusing when they cant remember how many tickets there are for the event but it says say 32 Available or worse still 50+ available. Also, when setting up multiple events with the same Ticket Launch Date, why cant we click "All event tickets available from the same date" Also when selecting a venue location at the beginning for a new event, why cant we set up a subdirectory of our own regularly used venues rather than scrolling down numerous similar venues across the globe.

Pros:

It was my first event using TicketSource. Help is always available. There is an option to include the ticket fee in the price of the ticket. Setting up the event was really easy and having the telephone number for TicketSource to make bookings really helped too. It was easy to arrange a refund.

Cons:

As this is our first time using it, I had nothing to compare it with. However, some of the options for tick boxes can be a little confusing at time.

Because we needed to be using something different, as I am the Admin for Ticket Tailor for a charity.

This was my first time of use so it took a little time to set up a profile and advertise the first event. Appreciated having the option for customers to pay transaction fee ( a previous company deducted it from the proceeds automatically). Sales process was easy and customers said how ‘professional’ it looked. Instant stats and customer details from ticket sales was a real plus. Overall - a great experience. Will definitely use again next time.

Pros:

Efficient and professional style of ticket purchases. Proceeds quickly transferred after the event. Lots of support available if needed.

Cons:

Took a little time to set up the event initially but then it all ran smoothly. Although support was available I managed to do it myself, although it may have taken longer.

Reasons for switching to TicketSource

Inability to apportion fees to customers. No clear reports if sales. Monies received instantly but refunds would have to be processed by organiser if event cancelled

Easy to use, clear help system, responsive customer services online and via email. I have two organisations and the same logon allows me to switch between them

Cons:

Not obvious how to copy one day's event to repeat. Not obvious how to test ticket purchases without them being generally available. Insurance automatically added to ticket price - though quickly removed by customer support when requested

Cons:

Setting time limits on individual ticket types. I cannot think of any more things I do not like. Its great.

Pros:

It’s easy to use and the daily reports were very helpful. I like that it is UK based and I’ve heard that you can ring for help with a real person. The commission is reasonable for a good service. Background We used TicketSource for the first time to our annual Stroud Sacred Music Festival. We left Eventbrite because setting up multiple managers was difficult when the keyholder fell ill and our volunteer ( ie not professional media people) couldn’t work out how to open up for loading tickets etc.

Cons:

Can’t think of anything at all, honestly I can’t! Perhaps things will arise with more usage but so far so good.

Reasons for switching to TicketSource

We needed to make tickets urgently and our main Eventbrite administrator fell ill and we couldn’t access the login.

Pros:

TicketSource was great for a beginner like myself, web page was easy to navigate and when I needed help I rang up and they helped me finish before going live. Definitely going to use TicketSource again.

Cons:

Nothing TicketSource was easy to use, I really liked the reporting options. I liked to keep up to date with the ticket sales and the emails came through when people needed to get in touch.
