It was easy to download, but took me several hours to get it up and running.

Improve the online tutorials.

Pros

The peace of mind this product have given me. I now know that the premises are safe and secure. I can now sleep knowing my house is covered.

Cons

It took me too long to get it in service. I took several hours of working to get it up and running. However, after I got it going, seems to work fine!

Adequate but somewhat limited VoIP phone service

Pros

Ability to receive calls direct to my cell phone outside of the office.

Cons

It still seems like I run into bugs or glitches occasionally and the programming to navigate incoming calls could be better. Sometime I have trouble forwarding calls to co-workers, something that should be simple and straightforward.

If you need something for faxes

Pros

I have never had a problem with faxes. Easy to send and you get confirmation so that you know it's sent. Plus you have the convenience of doing it through your email.

Cons

The phone service would be why I'm split down the middle for them. I think the awkward connection confuses people and I have had dropped calls. I would rather them call me directly then deal with it at all.

Pros

What I like about Ring Central is that at our company we have been able to depend on this. The connection is always stable and calls come through without issues.
The best part, is that the voicemails come to my email. If I am out of office, or on lunch, and eager to find out what my voicemails say, I am able to listen to them from my email account.

This has been the best part!!!

Cons

Sometimes, in the voicemail message in my email it will show me what the customer has said in text, and other times it does not.
Its not too much of an issue, but do wish it was more consistent!

We switched to RingCentral at work and it provides all the basic capabilities that I need to do my job after figure out a few tricks.

Pros

I like that you can schedule meetings for multiple participants, use webcams, share content, and record.

Cons

I don't always like the options for displaying people's webcam views. I would like to be able to configure it more.

Pros

You can have one phone number by which you can be reached whenever you are as long as you have an internet connection.

Cons

Installing, setting up and updating the dailer software is something I had problems with, but their customer support walked me through.

The software is great for users who need to quickly meet but have a powerful suite of features at their disposal. From screen sharing, computer control, and HD video chatting, RingCentral meetings has everything you need.

Pretty pleased with RingCentral

Overall the implementation took time, much more time than expected, but the capabilities and integrations of RingCentral are superb. Their customer support is second to none (on a remote basis).

Pros

We really enjoy being able to text clients & the integrations available (Zapier allows us to text with RingCentral in an automated way).

Cons

Wish there were the ability to program autoresponses based on texts received (smart keywords like FixYourFunnel is able to do). I dislike that you can't reassign an SMS text thread to another user (like FixYourFunnel can do).

Great for Small Virtual Law Office

We have a small office without a live receptionist yet we need to have different call routing for each person. I am able to configure the options for any variable (holidays, vacations, etc.).

Pros

Ring Central is very configurable for many situations. We have a small law office with people working remotely so we have different call flows for different people. Ring Central can handle the differences. Also, I love having the app so I can check voicemails directly from my cell device.

Cons

Because of the wide range of ways the call routing can be configured, it is somewhat difficult at the start to determine how to do it. However, Ring Central's customer service is always available and has always been able to help me when I call.
