The best part of WeVideo is the flexibility to be as artistic as you want. There are templates for you to start with or you can start with a blank canvas. Students as young as Grade 1 have used WeVideo with success.

I make all kinds of videos for education. Some are how-to videos, some are informational videos, and some are celebratory videos. WeVideo is so incredibly easy to use. Uploading content to edit is so easy. And I love the professional-looking quality of the completed videos. WeVideo also has a great library of images, videos and music that I can use as well.

I am so very happy we found this product in a time when personal communication had become rare and impossible at the school level. Our Friday Wrap-up videos are the highlight of each week.

I love that I can come back week after week and build from my own template, making and creating updates, or squeezing in new content without spending 10+ hours to accomplish a high quality video. I also love the unique editing capabilities and robust stock video/ photo availabilities!

I am looking forward to some updates with the animated text features. As a weekly user, I am always looking for ways to spice up my videos that are text-dependent.

I was unhappy with how the customer support dealt with this issue and how they refused to issue a refund simply because I asked for a refund through PayPal. They claimed they cannot issue it because of that, which is ridiculous to say the very least. The matter is now still open but my decision on whether to ever use this service again let alone recommend them is short and final - NO.

It's relatively easy to use and has good templates.

The pricing is deceptive and when on a free trial, you are not being told how much the features you get to use in the free plan would cost in paid plans. When you thus upgrade, it can happen what happened to me - you spend hours working on a video and then want to upgrade to get rid of their logo, only to discover that half of the video is gone, because you'd have to upgrade to the most expensive Business plan to keep those. There is no warning, no nothing that could help you avoid this and maybe decide to just keep the logo instead. It's really, really unacceptable how this is done.

Pleasant experience. The main question our team was asked: Would this be suitable for student use? My response: Yes indeed.

I use SCREENCAST-O-MATIC and a feature they include that I use ALL THE TIME: Narration Silence CUT or SPEED UP? With a single click I can cut all the silent segments in a video. In WeVideo I have to find and trim each segment one. at. a. time. So my production time is higher when I use WeVideo.

This tool is an essential tool for distance and remote learning and can enhance the educational experience for students in any space.

I wish the sound tracks had more editing capabilities. This part of the webtool is a little more rudimentary, but improvements are always being made with this tool.

WeVideo allows students and teachers to be creative and produce high quality videos with ease. It ease of use means that users can concentrate on the messages, concepts they are getting across instead of all the technical stuff.

I have not subscribed for the paid version so am not sure if it is value for money.

Easy to setup, invite others, and create or edit videos. There are a lot user templates and starting points to choose from when creating a video or even a gif! Students are are engaged and enjoying it quite a bit.

I must say that video editing becomes very easy with WeVideo and store the work quickly because it offers cloud storage. I am using this tool for a long time because my clients are quite happy with all the presentations. I think professional-looking videos with voice-over now a matter of few minutes. I like the fact that WeVideo is packed with a lot of important features such as video clips, images, music, animations, and element. Also, you can upload your own selected image, video, music, etc this is amazing. This software enables you to work online so, you don’t need to download it which is very convenient.

I wish if they could have more elements and audio edit option to be more creative with the design. WeVideo offers only 5 minutes of video download with a free version. If anyone wants to download longer videos then they need to go for a paid version which not always affordable.

When our administrators can use a video editing software to create a virtual celebration for exiting students and a virtual tour for incoming students, teachers can create screencasts of activities to help students understand what to do, students can record a narration of their work, office staff can create a video from student-submitted photos and videos for Teacher Appreciation Week, and tech staff can create video tutorials for staff, all with the same product, you know you have a robust product! We love WeVideo!

WeVideo is a versatile, easy to use tool for staff and students to create and edit videos. We used it A LOT this past spring during Distance Learning! Our staff has used it for screencasting, narration, and creating videos for instruction. Our students use it for creating videos to show their learning. This is a valuable resource for us!

WeVideo is always adding new features-- so when there's room for improvement, I know they're working on it! I would love to see real-time collaboration on a shared project. I would also love to see the ability to edit something within a video, not just clip a segement.

WeVideo is easy to use and helps even beginning users create a professional looking final video. I love the stock library of images and the software works well with many formats of video when you upload your own. My students can find the pictures and video clips they need for their projects in a safe environment. It is very easy to save and share projects. Plus you can use the same software to record video, a screen cast and a podcast.

You can find tutorials online for WeVideo. It would be nice to have help feature or FAQ section available within in the editing screen.

What is NOT to like? There are so many features in WeVideo that allow you to create incredible and professional grade videos including green screen chroma Key, animation, but the BEST part is the thousands of media clips, music, etc. in their extensive STOCK LIBRARY!

The only problem is it is missing a CROP & ROTATE tool for Green Screen creations and the price as school budgets are in trouble right now for Covid.

I like this tool the most and recommended it to my friends as well who are using its paid versions right now. I am also using paid version for so long.

WeVideo has all of the basic tools which can create a pro video. The best part is that you can import, edit and export 100% on browser with wonderful results.

Wevideo is not capable of auto lipsynch multiple clips as a premier pro does. Video animation is also limited than premier pro and Adobe After Effects.

I use this software with kids grades 2-5 and have trained teachers on it during the pandemic. I have used it for kids to demonstrate learning, to show parents how to be their own tech support, and to promote our school through social media. Very user friendly.

WeVideo is a safe way for students to create their own videos. It allows students to work independently or collaboratively. It also allows provides students with a wide variety of options to make their videos creative and innovative.

Sometimes students sturggling with editing functions and how to set up collaborative projects. Although WeVideo provides tutorials, some of the tools are challenging for students to use.

The ease of use for all grade level students makes this product great for any school. Since we gave access to our students, we have had over 90% user uasge monthly.

There are some limited functions with edit videos, it would be great if there were more special fx, reverse, etc.

I started using this software because of its green screen capability, but quickly learned that WeVideo had more to offer than that. Teachers will love using WeVideo to create fun, engaging, and creative content. Imaging teacher about ancient Egypt with pyramids in the background. You can bring the world to your students without ever having to leave the classroom. The stock library has so many incredible resources like videos, pictures, and audio that will make your video creations epic.

Sometimes (not often) it does take an unusually long time for videos to upload into your media.

It has been a dream to use in the classroom, the kids love using it.

I think WeVideo is so easy to get going with compared to some of the other fancier software out there. It's great that it is cloud based and children from as young as seven can create professional looking movies in minutes, thanks to the extensive stock footage available. The editing is simple, if not extensive, and it has everything you need to start off learning about video creation.

One of the best features of WeVideo is accessibility. I have the ability to access it via the web, on multiple devices, and on slower connections. It is very user friendly, with the ability to get in right away and start creating.

To fully unlock the benefits of the program, which there are many and for great value, you must pay to unlock the full contents. While it was beneficial to have a District that covered the cost, not all teachers are that lucky.

It is an excellent program that supports both my students and teachers in my building.

The nice thing is about this is the fact that it is all online. The connection of the phone to the computer really does work smooth. I am excited about how WeVideo solved the problem of how to teach Video Production at both an online school as well as at a bricks and mortar school.

Seems like they continue to improve but there are always more features that would be nice. I would like to see more template options.
