Pros/Cons
Pros
- I have used this and brought this every company I have worked at and now that I own my own business, it was a perfect fit. The software is an easy sell to new clients and onboarding is great too.
- All about this software are good, the setup, the creation of set´s, the backup and restore, the reports, all the fatures are good.
- For large custoimers with a lot of virtual machines or data, it's a good solution with a good price.
Cons
- When we needed it the most, it had error after error. Truly regret spending as much as we did on the system.
- Unusable, hard to manage, unfriendly. After years of usage, most of the time, we give up investigating and get lost in useless information and necessary but impossible to find information.
- When white labelled the name Ahsay appears in error reports this actually revels the name of Ahsay to our competitors and our white labelling value is lost.
Pros
- Is the only solution that really works with OLVM, the compression ratio is high and help to save storage cost, easy to administer, easy to use, easy to restore, have a nice console.
- I've been using it in my home lab for 2 years and its been great. Backing up NAS shares, Windows Servers and VMware servers are all easy to setup and automatic scheduling and notifications work great.
- But best of all, its customizable backup jobs would do everything it can to save storage and speed the whole process up. And the instant recovery is trully amazing, I like it very much.
Cons
- Just details, the replication option is still missing, there is no robot for monitoring (Telegram) for notifications.
- Missing replication feature where most of the data protection software now will have it.
- Little bit difficult to move to another server and upgrade.
