Envoy is a cloud-based visitor management and registration solution that serves small and medium businesses across various industries. It is compatible with iPads running iOS 8 or later versions.

Core features include visitor registration, automated user notifications, digital document signing, badge printing and visitor pre-registration. It provides a real-time view of visitors present in a building. Users can also set up multiple admin accounts, view analytics, and extract audit and compliance reports.

Users can access visitor information on mobile devices using the Envoy Passport mobile app and web browsers. Envoy offers integration with host directories, file sharing and sales and marketing software.

Envoy is available with monthly and annual subscription pricing. Customer support is provided over the phone, via email, live chat and online help articles. It is available globally and supports various languages such as Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English and French.

    Very simple, easy to use sign in system.

    Pros

    The ease of letting you know that you have a visitor as soon as they check in.
    Not your typical pen/paper sign in process.

    Some employees don't always receive the notification that someone is waiting for them.

    They are very happy and say the software is easy to use.

    Pros

    Very easy to design and mantain. Very proffesional look and feel. Happy costumers!

    Cons

    Nothing, i am using the free version of this software package. All the restrictions are more then logical to me.

    Easily see whos in the building and number of visitors we have coming to the office.

    Pros

    Easily review who's in the building and because its simpler for people to sign in they are doing so quickly and freeing up the receptionist for other tasks.

    Cons

    Not sure I can think of any. We haven't ran across any problems, so far! But if we do they are super responsive on the 'Online Chat' feature to help us!

    Ease of whole process

    Pros

    It has made the life easier for both visitor and receptionist. No paper work, the visitor can easily enter the information using the Ipad app and the notification goes straight to the relevant person. Very easy and impressive layout. Dashboard shows all related details.

    Cons

    There should be an android version as well. Also internet is necessary for it to work so in case of any internet issue the system does not work.

    The ease of use. Super simple to use and configure. It is super easy for the end user to use it, and also the administrative side is super easy in order to configure the app.

    Cons

    I would appreciate a little more control for the administrator side. There's some configurations that have to be done by the Envoy team that I would appreciate if they could be done by our side.

    The ability to upload guests lists from Excel spreadsheets. It creates a much smoother process when a lot of guests are expected

    Cons

    It would have to be not being able to view more than one day at a time. Having the ability to view invites a week at a time would be beneficial.

    The integration with slack and also the picture of the guest being sent to the host. Its nice to know who you are looking for if you've never met the guest before.

    Cons

    You can only have one host. Would be nice to add more than one host in case multiple people need to be informed someone has signed in.

    I like Envoy but dunno if it's worth the cost. More of a luxury item.

    Pros

    I love that envoy allows us to ensure every guest has a process coming in and notification method for their internal visitor. For interviewers, it ensures our on sites are under NDA. This allows us to standardize our visits without having an office manager in every location.

    It always seems to be working and we rarely have a visitor unsure of how this works. Seems almost standardized for any office visit

    Cons

    For NDA's wish we had more control over sending this to specific google drives. It's very basic in features but does what it's supposed to - having a warmer intro (map, office overview, etc.) would be nice.

    Your visitors will love using the iPad app to register (much impressive than the usual pen/paper, or receptionist doing all the typing). Notifications are very useful to let you know when a visitor has arrived. Pre-registration sends them an email which can be customized to include map directions, SOP's in the office, etc. All logs are easily downloadable for numbers and data analytics (This is good for office planning).

    Pros

    The iPad app is very user-friendly. Just a few taps, and we get to capture important visitor info (including photo). It gives the front desk a wow factor.

    The notifications is the feature most appreciated by our company, since they get notified in real time via email/sms/slack upon visitor registration of their guests.

    The pre-registration of visitors makes the visitor experience more pleasant. They receive an email/calendar invite about their appointment (which is customizable).

    Envoy also provides basic analytics dashboard to quickly view how many visitors there are/have been, and which persons/places are most visited. The visitor log is easy to extract as .csv for further data analytics.

    Cons

    There is no provision to use Android devices instead of an iPad.

    Currently, it's not possible to select multiple hosts (persons to visit/destination).

    I love getting an email alert if I have a package that has been delivered. The alert is very clean and easy to read. I love the reminders of picking up a package too!

    Cons

    I cannot think of any cons. My only con is that the reception desk at my work needs to use it more! I wish there was a way for the system to be alerted once you pick up a package as opposed to me having to submit it via the email

    We have this at my company and it makes it quick and easy to know when guests are arriving. Ours is hooked up with an iPad so it also captures a photo of the visitor.

    Cons

    I think it would be helpful to put that you are there for multiple hosts, as sometimes it would be beneficial to email multiple people that your guest has arrived.

    Visibility with the guest experience, less effort to contact the hosts, a cool system, etc. Never any negativity.

    Pros

    The thing I like most about Envoy is how user-friendly it is. I have eyes everywhere because of it and it helps me stay connected with the guests and hosts and their experience.

    I really never have any issues or negativity toward the system. I think it has lost service for a short period twice in the year or so I've been using it.

    It has streamlined our registration process and it brings a level of professionalism to our events that is truly amazing.

    Pros

    It is intuitive and extremely user friendly. I was able to learn the process quickly which in turn, made it easier for me to teach it to my group. I love how multiple devices can synchronize, and the email alerts when a guest is checked in really brings it to a whole other level.

    Cons

    I would like to see the registration capabilities available not just on on iPad but also for iPhone, and I can't believe I'm saying this, even for Android. This will help to make the use of the platform more universal and for the rare occasions when we may have our iPads unavailable or with low battery, that we could use our phones (yes, even Androids) as back-ups.

    The simplicity of this software. For visitors, just key in your details, smile, then the system will notify the person you are going to visit. For the host, you can set if you are expecting someone in order to lessen the time in the registration part.

    Cons

    I hope a feature where you can reply will be made available since the receptionist caters a lot of visitor. It will be great if you can just reply if you are available or not

    It's easy to use for the visitors. I think that the picture should be taken faster (the visitors experience)

    It's not that easy to use for the user and the G suite connection should be something easy to learn. (example: I don't have to enter the users manually)

    It looks professional and provides reporting so that we can always track who comes in and out of our facility. It's also pretty user friendly, so we rarely have issues with visitors being able to sign in. Our employees appreciate being able to receive both email and text notifications when a visitor has signed in.

    Cons

    It is pricey. We still find it worth having, but I had to make an argument for it in our budget. I wish the appearance was a bit more easy to customize. Sometimes there are hiccups and notifications don't send, but they typically get fixed very quickly.

    I love that Envoy integrates with Slack so that you're notified when a visitor arrives. I often conduct interviews and candidates arrive early and late. I can keep working undistracted. This also reduces load on office managers who aren't always at their desks.

    Cons

    It would be great to create user accounts across the Envoy platform was even quicker check-ins. Sometimes entering info quickly, especially in the presence of crowds, is a time consuming task with multiple required fields.

    Enjoy is super simple to set up and and use. We got Envoy up and running in a matter of about an hour or so. The set up flow is super easy and customizable to fit your business needs.

    Cons

    There is only a few packages with big price jumps. We determined to stay with the free version because the price for the packages vs the value you receive were not good. If there was à la carte features where you can pick a few features and you pay per feature we would highly consider paying for this product. Until then we can do with the free features.
