Easy, stable and with a great customer service

I was looking for a new software to design, sell and manage our itineraries and I ended up finding We Travel. [sensitive content hidden] was the first person I spoke to (it was a festivity but he gave me availability anyway as we were in a hurry) and then [sensitive content hidden] helped us set up our account. Coming from a software that provided very poor customer service this truly made the difference. The software is well made, easy to use and with plenty of features. I am sure they will get even better in the future (possibly on the graphic aspect of it) but overall it is a very good and competitive product.

CONS

I (personally) do not like the graphic aspect very much Dynamic pricing not available Everything else is great

1) Easol is way too expensive 2) Not a great experience with their sales team (customer care was good instead) 3) They are more oriented on providing services for music festival (but this is not the main reason at all)

WeTravel is an absolute game changer!

My biggest pain points in selling group trips were online booking and payment processing, and in those two arenas, WeTravel has completely solved my problems and revolutionized my business. The customer service has always been top notch, not to mention the personal conversations that make me feel like a valued customer. I so appreciate that you guys ask me what I'd like to see, and then you actually implement improvements. It feels good to align with a company that is so progressive and wants to keep getting better, which is exactly how I feel about my business too, and WeTravel is helping me get better!Also just for the record, it was horrible when you froze funds during Covid - I hope you never feel like you have to freeze our funds again!

PROS

The online booking and payment processing functions are the real highlights of WeTravel for me. I love the easy integration of the direct to checkout button, payment plans and tracking, low processing fees, money transfer options, and payment and customer database management.

CONS

I wish there were a real function for a full customer database (for example - in the current database, when more than one person is included in a booking, the second person isn't reflected accurately like they don't exist). Also it'd be great if I could customize fields and other info in a database, like how many and which trips a customer has been on (even before I used WeTravel), etc. Perhaps an integration with Wise as well, to easily send money internationally straight from the WeTravel account.

Reason for choosing WeTravel

WeTravel is SO MUCH EASIER than PayPal -- Low processing fees, better organization, and much more professional. It is the solution I needed.

If you are considering using wetravel platform I would highly recommend you read

The initial setup was OK for our first account (our model is servicing client's in their brand). Wetravel does not allow 'sub-accounts' or branding. When we attempted to stand up a second account, we were asked for the same information needed for the first account in order to be 'verified'. I explained to an account Rep our business model, but we were again asked over and over for the information previously provided. This was duly provided, but they requested again and again information that had already been supplied for this second account (as well as the first one).We did successfully run several trips, transacting tens of thousands of Dollars without further issue.Some 9 months after setting up our accounts, the platform was locked down without any notice - preventing customers from being able to submit payment. 2 days later we were sent a canned email saying our accounts were being closed completely in 14 days. No reason was provided, the note stated the decision was non-negotiable. Again, no notice of why was provided, indeed no response at all was provided. Again, this occurred in the middle of active bookings which has been both incredibly damaging to our reputation, our client's brand and created a very unprofessional situation for all concerned.Upon querying with our 'account rep', he advised he had no information as to the reason why and did not respond further.I am beyond dumbfounded.

Fairly easy to use, but basic in features, functional in intent.

CONS

Opaque pricing, full cost is not made obvious (higher transaction rate), incredibly onerous 'verification' process, no real support only canned responses, if someone is monitoring responses they are not responding.

Very nice and user friendly platform

Hi like that the platform is not only a paiement platform but also a complete solution to optimize your trips and booking.You will receive a complete training session if you need and all your staff will have access to itAn other very nice part is that you really have a personalized relationship with the staff managing your account - they are super easy to contact, super knowledgeable and really friendly at the time to answer your question or solve your problems - Special thanks to [sensitive content hidden] who have been working a lot in making our experience smoother and very friendly

CONS

it's actually not exactly about WeTravel - but the time it takes from making a wire transfer and receiving - it's inconsistent (it can take just 1 day or 2 - or about a week) To be fair it's more an issue with the international wire transfer than WeTravel themselve

I was offer to have a direct interaction with [sensitive content hidden] - and they did a great job on explaining me the main features I was looking for and the extra features I had no clue about but finally discovered

A great platform

Very good!!

PROS

I love the ease of use. [sensitive content hidden] is my account manager and he always checks in on me as well as listens to my concerns. The company has evolved in the years we have used them and they get better each year.

CONS

I want my user testimonials to be be searchable in search engine like google. Right now they sit on the WeTravel platform only.

Easy to use platform

Since we made the switch to WeTravel, we have saved time with our initial trip setup, as well as the day to day management of trips. Getting time back so that you can spend it on other things is a huge win. As I have learned to utilize all that the software has to offer, everyone I have talked to/worked with has been incredibly helpful.

PROS

WeTravel is incredibly intuitive to use and the customer service is amazing! Our dedicated agent [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is fantastic and keeps me informed about new features as they are added, so that I am getting the most use out of the platform. The ability to either customize an trip or work off of a "stock template" has been great. There are so many great features that are offered, I simply can't list them all! So getting an easy to use platform (for both us and our customers) with an amazing amount of tools to work with has been a game-changer for our company.

CONS

As of now, I don't know as though I have anything I don't like about the software!

User friendly start-up with great customer service,

They make me feel welcome as a client and I trust that they are always seeking to make the best product possible.

PROS

They care about their clients and are very accessible and responsive. The continuing education is very informative and a nice perk. Nice, clean aesthetic that befits a modern tour company.

CONS

They are just starting to scale to bigger companies after working with smaller entities in the past, so not all the features you want are there. Certain features are not as flexible and building a tour is not as dynamic as would be with other companies.

Grateful for WeTravel

I can say for certain that my income has increased due to the ease of implementing WeTravel.

PROS

I am a small business, and WeTravel has made everything easier and more organized for me. Folks can simply register for my events online, and I can keep track of everyone with ease. WeTravel's customer support has always been able to solve any minor issue that I have had.

CONS

I can't think of any cons to write about - everything has worked well for me!

Complex to easy

Our salesperson [sensitive content hidden] was absolutely diligent in her sales approach, I would give her delay, delay and call me later tactics. I just didn't want to go through yet another integration software, portal, reboot and scrap my online booking system. We tried for months to get comfortable with our old system, just could not get the office staff to warm up to the complexity of the system we had. Our WeTravel sales agent went through multiple presentations, emails over a year of trying to convert us and finally it paid off.

PROS

The integration is as easy as the sales team at WeTravel claimed it would be.

CONS

I prefer not to have to promote the name WeTravel when possible. In the past when I was using Peak 15, I didn't have to use the name or logo of Peak 15 on any of our communications. However, if I have to partner with a great company with great reputation and awesome product hen none better than WeTravel

Reason for choosing WeTravel

That integration was going to be easy, onboarding and customer support would be readily available. All of which has been true and very pleased to have made the switch. The persuading factor was that we were told we would have an Account Manager assigned to help us. And that is 1000% times better than what we had with our previous software, online booking company. Our Account Manager has been everything that the sales team promised and "Then Some". We have already had several interactions with Lendsey, and she has been prompt, insightful, helpful and sincerely cares about our company's online presence, our booking experiences and really knows our business. She has proactively reached out to us, on her own initiative and to check in with us and ask if she could be of help with any issues, technical questions or even discussing our sales strategy to growing our online bookings.

Reasons for switching to WeTravel

Our previous software was too complex, to many bells and whistles and just to hard to work with. That was our fault we tried to build the proverbial Swiss watch and that was over kill on our part. We didn't need every feature available, and the sales team, onboarding, ongoing product support was just a little frustrating from time to time.

Decent solution for small businesses

WeTravel solves my most urgent and important payment needs: to process group bookings and securely process credit card payments. I like that the booking page looks professional, and I'm excited to try to integrate payment links into my actual website. All that said, my experience has been a little rocky and there are still tons of improvements that they site can implement - hopefully these will come in the future. For the moment, I don't have a better solution to WeTravel so I will keep using it; but I wish a lot of things about it were easier overall.

PROS

The most critical aspect for my business was to process credit card and bank transfer payments online, electronically, and securely for groups traveling together. WeTravel lets us do this and has a handy feature to accommodate deposits and installment payments. I like that they added in carbon offsets but don't like that this has to be set at the same level for all travelers in a certain trip.

CONS

I get that it's a "freemium" model but there are quite a few aspects that really hamstring you as a free user (such as they won't remove the WeTravel insurance recommendation even though this is something my company offers to clients as well). But, I find the starting monthly price way too expensive for a small business. Their photo experience on listings is especially terrible. It's hard and time-consuming to get fully verified. I don't like the commission they take for bank transfers (credit cards make sense). Customer support can be a little hit or miss. Sometimes the site is just glitchy. Handling discounts/promos is confusing with WeTravel.

Reason for choosing WeTravel

WeTravel came on my radar right when I was looking for a way to process credit card payments for group travel bookings, and the free version solves my immediate problem. I honestly am not sure of alternative products.

WeTravel is great

We are not a fintech company, and wetravel provides a solution that is very tailored to what we do. As an educational tour operator, we have heavy scrutiny not only on the user experience but on collecting sensitive student data, and with Wetravel we know that we are always in compliant with the requests of our University partners.

PROS

Wetravel allows our business to focus on providing the service that is needed and takes care of our user registration, payment processing etc in a very seamless way. It is easy to train team members, provides a great user experience, and simply embeds in our website.

CONS

Wetravel does a great job adding features on a continuous basis. There seems to be some confusion with users coming back to the platform, causing double registrations on certain programs as the user often forgets that they already made a wetravel account and registered for a trip.

Great tool for small companies

We used PayPal before and it was a headache! They retained my money twice and it was impossible to contact a human being to solve the problem. We lost our money and I didn't feel comfortable asking for payments with PayPal.I loved the support that both [sensitive content hidden] has given us, even after hours.I feel that they care!Maybe I am "old school" and to be able to reach a person has been a real treat for me. Thank you to [sensitive content hidden] , you are amazing!

Easy for a first timer, low fees, supportive, Love it

Its made me look and feel smarter and professional. LOL. Figuring out how to be a tour operator is crazy work, so it was nice that this platform was pretty straightforward. It had everything I could think of wanting in a standard and slightly customizable way but not so customaizable that I'd get lost. It kept me from overthinking and over tweaking things. Mostly, it did exactly what I needed it to in providing a professional payment processing experience to customers and then having the lowest fees of all the softwares.

PROS

The ease of learning this platform was a huge asset as I juggle a lot as a solo entrepreneur. The low fees and Stripe implementation I love and it's made collecting and processing a payment worlds easier than I thought it would be .

CONS

I don't likke that you have to run your first tour and get reviews to be vetted. Initially, I wasn't crazy that the reviews need to exist on WeTravel and so we must direct customers there, when it would be more profitable to have them else where. I'm glad I'm not a tour operator who needs reviews on Trip Advisor b/c this would've boned me. There's small tweaks in the platform which weren't obvious to me that I had to email customer support to ask how it works. However, customer support is very responsive and often I got a response in good time.

WT was quickly responsive to my interest and I didn't need to wait for customer service to respond for me to sign up and look into features. I didn't like that FH had that wait period bar entry. It felt secretive and like I had to wait for someone to sell me on something. WT was like-- come on in!!!

Advanced many things for us - give it a try!

PROS

Constant itinerary updating, easy formatting when copying over, handles photos well, access to trip via links instead of attachments, allows for easy bank transfer option. Looks good and professional!

CONS

Team member mgmt access should improve, along with review process, price should show per person and work to simply several other key processes.

Best bookng software for Nepal !!!

My experience since I started to use from 2018. It has been always great. Help me to build booking page, whenever I needed help there is customer support. My experienced with Wetravel is exceptional.

PROS

Since we started to use it save time and increase booking for Nepal Eco Adventure. As we take all our booking online. WeTravel made it possible for us.

CONS

Software is not mobile friendly.If you can develop the IOS and Google play app. These days we all use he phone more the computer. If I can control and check via mobile app that make things so much easier.

One of the best custoemr interfaces

PROS

From the backend it is quite easy to learn it and to teach it to any newcomers. You can easily create new customer pages and develop different itineraries. Theres is a multi-package system that works quite well, as within the same trip you can charge different amounts.Their technical support is always very speedy at getting back to any questions we may have.

CONS

It is much better suited for individual customers than for B2B.
