As a solopreneur, I'm working with VA's to assist me in my digital marketing efforts. Implementing and documenting processes is crucial to train them on the different steps they need to follow to perform the tasks. Before using Flowster, I created various Google sheets and some screen recording videos to help explain the different steps. However, it quickly became hard to keep track of all these documents, especially when updating or tweaking your processes. Also, video over-the-shoulder tutorials are not ideal for the person who needs to be trained to follow a process. For instance, you need to pause it at every crucial step, take notes, and so on. With Flowster, I can have one place where I create, share, and manage all my processes. I'm now able to have visibility on every activity that my team is doing. Also, the tool improves collaboration with my team. They can directly start a discussion on any workflow step, which is beneficial for all my team members. Training and onboarding new team members became easier and efficient.

Overall, the user experience is good, with a clean UI. It is nice to have the ability to display or hide advanced settings, so you can keep the layout as minimal as possible. The marketplace is very useful if you don't have your own SOPs. You can find pre-made templates which you can customize as needed. You can also create and sell your own templates. It has been a game changer for me to be able to track a task's completion. Previously, I added status dropdowns or check boxes to my spreadsheets to track my progress, but now I can update all my SOPs in one place and easily collaborate with my team. Last but not least, the customer support is outstanding, my questions were answered quickly.

It was a bit overwhelming at the beginning. In the long run, setting up a template is worth the effort, and there is onboarding information to help you get started.

We are using Asana for the "what" and Flowster for the "how". That seems to be working really well.

The side by side view with steps on the left, and instructions/screenshots on the right make it very easy to create and use "how-to" instructions for all our recurring processes.

It seems difficult to use as an all-in-one task management system since it isn't easy to handle non-recurring tasks. Once I got past that hang-up, Flowster has been great! Looking forward to trying some Zapier integrations!

It can be useful, there are too many interesting functions.

Support is strange. I have 2 issues with it. First one - I find that one option that was important for me not available in my plan, but it is available in free test period if sign up with some referral link. I ask support to turn it on for me for the same test period and they did not accept it. The second one I miss free terms for 1 day and my card was charged for a month. I ask to return money because i don't use the service ( because of the first issue )) and they decline it again.

I love the way it looks and the options to build your SOP with almost anything you need. It has help me build my SOP's so I can start delegating many actions to a Virtual Assistant. That way I don't have to spend to many time every time I need to hire someone. The Marketplace has been a game changing that let me start really quick.

The marketplace is just amazing! You don't need to create every SOP from scratch... there are a ton of options that you can use right away. Flowster let you create detailed workflows and make a clear training along the way. I love that you now can embed the SOP in you site and the user can complete the process without the need to get a Flowster account for a one-time need.

To be honest, there is not much to dislike, it is really easy to use and understand. I am really happy to use it, no complaints so far.

It is a great tool to define your processes and share them with your team. But, what is even better is the template collection they offer. You don´t need to start from scratch. There are many templates that you can use as a base and customize them to your business needs.

It can get complicated to manage big workflows, but I haven't seen a solution yet that solves that problem

I love it. Creating an SOP library for my business allows me to feel more confident delegating repetitive work to outsourced VA's.

Easy to just start creating standard operating procedures (SOP's) without having to think everything through up front, from beginning to end. It gets rid of the procrastination factor.

Would like to see a video screen capture utility built into the software instead of having to embed 3rd party videos.

As a leader responsible for the global operations of an organization with 50+ people from across 20+ countries, we heavily rely on standard operating procedures and processes. It becomes crucial to keep track of documenting and delegating processes and know-how seamlessly. Flowster helps us keep track and make all processes available on a single platform. What's great is you can visually see what step of the process a delegated task is in at any given time. I like the fact that Flowster has come in handy with new team member onboarding and orientation easily and efficiently.

What I least like about Flowster is that it lacks the following: No groups feature to manage users No browser extension or seamless capture of a Process or Workflow Not so intuitive with panels that are not fluid and overlap the visual area.

Overall, my experience with Flowster has been positive. The software has helped streamline our business processes and significantly reduce the time and effort required for repetitive tasks. The wide range of pre-built templates, user-friendly interface, and integration capabilities make Flowster a valuable asset for businesses looking to enhance their workflow efficiency.

Flowster is a game-changer when it comes to managing and optimizing workflows. As a busy professional, I am always looking for ways to streamline my processes and increase productivity, and Flowster has proven to be an invaluable tool in achieving just that.

The pricing structure could be more transparent. While the basic plan offers a lot of value, the pricing tiers for additional features and team members could be clearer. Secondly, the mobile app experience could be more refined, as it currently lacks some of the functionality available on the web platform.

This is the first time having access to a Saas like this, and I am loving it. In months to come I will be able to delegate much of my work and will let me focus on more important things. Flowster, is becoming a really important part of our worflows nowadays. Really happy that I have found them!

The pre-made templates are amazing, they can give you a great start. This is my first time documenting our process and has made our life so much easier. I love that I can even automate further with an automation platform like Integrately. The support is stellar, they help me embed a new video platform that was not supported! Overall, they have a really nice UI and the experience have been a good one.

The only downside (for now) is that if you embed the SOP in an external site, an external user can run the flow without generating an account. They are working in a solution for this as we speak, so this will be solved really, really soon

The ease of use and easy document creation

At first it looked complicated and took a little time to grasp

I'm using Flowster mostly to document processes which have a lot of moving parts to them, and in which the details matter a lot. An example is how I am creating icons as images for my blog and digital products. I'm working on a Flowster template which will show others exactly what to do, so that I can finally delegate this process without worrying that a critical step will be forgotten. First I need to select a suitable icon in one program, then download it as a certain file type ready for importing into another program. Then I need to add a particular outline to the icon, in certain colors, and add a background (circle or square depending on the use case) and then add another, different outline to the background image. I need to replicate this process using different colors for the same icon and then I need to upload the set to my blog at a certain size using image optimization software. It would be very easy to forget to do something along the way - but having it documented in Flowster and being able to check off items as they are completed, makes the process consistent and reduces errors, no matter who is doing the work. That's the joy of Flowster. As I get to grips with everything Flowster has to offer, I've had a few questions. Their support team has been fast and answered everything with plenty of detail to keep me moving forward. In short - a very positive experience and I'm now planning to completely integrate Flowster as part of my business documentation.

I think I may be falling in love with Flowster. For the first time, I have a way to document how I do everything in my business so that I don't forget the processes, and so that I can teach others how to do what I do, too. That's a tremendous time saver - not to mention efficiency-booster. I love that it was easy to learn how to use the software. And it just plain works. I don't have the patience to learn complicated new programs. Flowster delivered a fast, smooth onboarding experience which had me up and running in no time. A huge plus for me is that I can send workflows of my processes to others to work on. If something changes in the process, I can just update the template and then everyone with a workflow is automatically updated. That's a headache-saver right there. I've only just scratched the surface of possible uses for Flowster. I haven't been using it that long, but I can already see that it's going to be an integral part of how I work from now on.

There is a marketplace for Flowster templates which has a lot of potential (Flowster owners can sell their own, original templates on the marketplace, too), but so far it's not offering the detailed level of templates that I'm looking for. The Premium templates (for which you need to pay extra) seem to be better though. The templates can be used to jumpstart documenting a process, but they're not critical since I'm going to want to document my specific processes from scratch anyway.

I love Flowster. The team and product are amazing. Any time I've ever needed support, they are very fast to reply and are super helpful.

Flowster makes it super simple to organize and create standard operating procedures. This makes it virtually impossible for your employees to skip steps while working on specific processes because they just need to follow the step-by-step instructions (with checkpoints along the way). It has made my team work much more efficiently

Overall, I think the product is great but there is still some room for small improvements. I'd love to see the option to have see certain fields auto-populate based on previously completed fields within a workflow.

Overall I'm really happy that I discovered Flowster - I can already see the benefits that my business has received from such an easy to follow SOP software. I've got more time to focus on my business, rather than answering questions by new staff or having to update the systems and processes in different places all the time.

Even before discovering Flowster, I had SOPs and lessons housed in spreadsheets and google documents. However, they were cumbersome and hard to maintain - especially with a remote team. However, since transferring all my SOPs over to Flowster, maintenance of my business' systems has never been easier. I love how easy it is to create the SOPs from scratch. The user interface is easy to understand and navigate, which makes it more appealing, because now I can delegate the SOP creation and maintenance to one of my employees!

It would have been great if Flowster had an import or migrate function to import my SOP's that I already had in existence. As tedious as this can be, it did provide me with the opportunity to review the SOPs for any improvements. It is also a little bit too easy to begin editing the template of an SOP without meaning to. Maybe if they had a different screen with a different theme format that indicates you are editing a template (as opposed to a workflow), then it may help to avoid such mistakes.

As we are using this for all the User stories of the modules, so whenever we are having new joiner in the team or someone from the existing team has to work on different module, then can simply check on Flowster in the related User Stories how system works, Which is really great and ease of work.

I wish they can add a the read only feature, which is really a very helpful, when we want that others can see only but can not modify it.

Its, easy, well laid out, good UI and easy to start using. There is not a huge learning curve and this is very important as its meant for non-tech users - so unlike other tools this aspect makes the tool very usable.

It's feature set is much lesser compared to other tools. But this is also because they are a new entrant and others have been around for a longer time. I can see that they are making progress and developing new features.

I've been using it a short time, but am really impressed and am slowly switching all of my process documentation into Flowster. Amazing team and amazing [SENSITIVE CONTENT]!

I like how easy it is to document my business processes and the multiple options that are available for how I want to show that (description, photo, video, etc.). I also like how easy it is to go back and update something without having to redo the entire process (especially like how I can edit a step if a workflow is already in progress).

The platform is being rapidly developed, so I only think it will be a short time before this is available. I'd like to see deeper integrations with popular project management tools (and not have to run through Integrately/Zapier) to create new to dos and start workflows right from Flowster.

Nice way to build, gather and organise processes, with a very usable interface. Documenting processes is never a pleasure, but Flowster do make it easier and greatly reduce the mental barrier to getting started. Nice options for building out each step too. Happy to recommend.

A critical issue around documenting processes is making it easy to get started, and to add/change each step. I do like the way each step is created, the options (text, images etc) that can be chosen, and the ease of renaming and reordering steps. Simple, unfussy view helps keep things clear and uncomplicated.

Can't reorganise template/process lists by date, alphabetically etc. Also would prefer not to see a popup when launching or editing a process, perhaps a simple button/link next to the item.

My overall experience has been fantastic. Flowster is a unique application which helps in storing workflows in an extremely efficient way.

I loved the ease with which I can use it. It does not have a complex interface that I need to configure by myself.

Documenting tasks and Assigning them to people, and tracking their progress. It is a perfect way to ensure knowledge transfer is achieved effectively.

Learning and mastering the basics takes a short time, but overall, it is necessary.

Having used Process Street in the past here you get the most important features at a lower price. I barely miss anything from the competition and Flowster has a roadmap that addresses some of the things missing.

Easy to set up, easy to integrate, unlimited guests can run the SOPs and I can analyze the progress. Workflows are easily set up and easy to assign.

It's not as advanced as other SOP competitors in some aspects, the interface could be improved.
