Great tool for fast integration of 3rd party services to your SaaS

PROS

- Easy to use. Denifing workflow is a piece of cake, just define the JSON schema of the incoming event and here you go. The rest of the work is drag-n-dropping some blocks and configuring them.- Speed of integration with 3rd parties on a scale. In my case, I integrated Shopify and Attentive with runalloy. Runalloy helped me to skip the burden of creating apps in these platforms and pass reviews. It saves a lot of time and money.- Customer support is excellent. I met some lacking features like Shopify Graphql API integration and some missing endpoints for Attentive, talked to support team, and got blazing-fast feedback and implemented functionality.- Advanced tooling supported for proficient developers. Integration with AWS EventBridge was very useful and efficient for our infrastructure.

CONS

- Admin dashboard could be better. There are API endpoints to upgrade integrated workflows versions, but it's not available in UI. I had to build a small app by myself. It would be great to have this as a part of the built-in functionality.

The Process Accelerator, Employee Replacer

Initially there was definitely a learning curve and updates needed in order from Alloy in order to go live with the initial automations identified by our team. The team at Alloy was outstanding and quick to not only train our team, but also roll out the updates needed for our specific automation needs. Alloy has been fast and efficient with a customer support focus. Oh, and the capabilities of their services are far and wide. 10/10 would recommend.

PROS

Alloy automations has helped us streamline business processes that were previously tedious and redundant. How often do you find yourself copying information across business programs, apps, and platforms? How many times have you found yourself questioning "why isn't there a more effienct way to compile and consolidate all of this data?" If you were to review your employees roles and responsibilites, how many of them would be simply responsible for ensuring cross-platform information transfer? If you are someone who, in overseeing you operations, have asked any of these questions then Alloy automations is the solution for you. Equipped with a plethora of popular business program and app connections along with an intuative automation creation interface, Alloy Automations stands out as the gold standard for automation software.Currently our multi-store, global merchandising agency has been using Alloy for the better of 2 months. In that time Alloys team has been extremely dilligent in working alongside ours to assist in developing and updating their solutions to our specific needs. Additionaly, they have helped to save us roughly 80 hours per week previously spent on tedious cross-platform, copy/paste processes. And that is only the tip of the ice burg.

CONS

As a newer company, it is standard that bugs and errors can only be discovered by trial and error or via user experience. The same is the case with Alloy. Nonetheless, any time one of these issues has arose, Alloys team has been extremely effiecient to correct and release an update for the bug on an impressingly quick timeline. For this reason even when we have run into an issue, it comes with a sense of peace knowing that a solution will be developed quickly.

Excellent Data Manipulation Tool

PROS

The Alloy Automation team provides top-notch support. They have been present throughout our initial integration process, the building of the different integration workflows, and for troubleshooting particular integration/workflow/user combinations. Hands down, the best part of this relationship has been the experience we've had with their support/success team. The actual product gives an immense amount of flexibility for being able to do different data manipulations without having to write specific code yourself. The capacity for highly complex workflows is also very high. Most brands will find great benefit/use from implementing simple 1 to 5-step workflows, but Alloy is capable of running far more complex workflows to get you the solution you need. Alloy has created connections with a large number of tools and just about every ecommerce store will certainly find some use case for which Alloy is the solution. Great tool and an excellent experience.

CONS

We initially explored Alloy as an option to remove the need for developers, but Alloy did require some developer resources for the initial setup for our particular brand/use case. I'm glad we dedicated those resources because it has opened up the options afterwards, but that did require an adjustment for us on the initial setup.

A key part of our tech-stack for saas fintech product - highly recommend!!

Excellent experience with the sales team who were had deep technical knowledge and understanding , the support team have really helped us get set up and create value quickly. They're great

PROS

Our dev team love the embedded product and workflow management tools, it allows us to quickly connect new systems, expand our feature set and the number of potential customers we can support. The team are awesome to work with and really responsive

CONS

We're an early stage fintech startup so the cost was a big consideration for us, however very happy we went with Alloy and confident it will be pay off for us over the medium and long-term. It took our dev team a couple of weeks to get familiar with the workflow mgt but then everything started to happen v quickly

Breadth and profile of connections, quality of workflow management, general feeling of the team being great and lastly price.

- All relevant integrations- Very reliable- < 24h to launch integrations- Very good support- We can go live with api updates within weeksOur team previously used workato, tray.io, and paragon and Alloy has been much better.

CONS

All is great. Haven't had any issues. Alloy team is 10/10 as well, always so prompt to answer support tickets

Our second integration! The ease of setting up the second integration was incredible.

Incredibly powerful integrations tool for high growth apps

Overall, I've had a great time working with the folks at Alloy. Genuinely care about their customers and it shows with the consistency and diligence they've shown.

PROS

The sheer number of things you can do with Alloy is incredibly powerful for any business. They also have top-tier support which I appreciate.

CONS

The workflow building had a bit of a learning curve for me. It's due to the technical aspect of the product needs, however.

A game changer for all businesses

PROS

I really love how easy it is to build a workflow to send information to multiple different APIs using conditional logic. It's a game changer for teams that can't afford (either because of time or funding constraints) to expand their integration offering.

CONS

I find the lack of testing capabilities inside of the workflow editor to be particularly cumbersome.

Skip the App Store

Our customers expect us to easily integrate with their Shopify data, but we do not want to be a Shopify app vendor. Alloy's iPaaS lets us have the best of both worlds: a one-click Shopify integration without the app store hurdles and restrictions.

PROS

Alloy provides a seamless experience for our users to connect their Shopify accounts to our application.

CONS

We built our integration before their new Unified API became available. While the normal APIs are still supported perfectly, we wish we'd built on Alloy's Unified API initially because it makes it easy to scale across platforms. New clients will benefit from the latter from day one.

Reason for choosing Alloy

We did not identify any comparable products that would provide a seamless user experience.

Great for quick integrations

PROS

Very fast way to build and create new experiences for customers without LOADS of Dev time.

CONS

Sometimes the Workflow loads don't load when you need them, but I know they are working on that part now.

Great product and Great Support

PROS

Easy to work with and the support was great. Alloy worked directly with us, and stuck to their word that if an API allowed it, they could do it. We also really liked the custom code block, this allowed us to add logic to our workflows.

CONS

Didn't have a downside. Alloy was easy to use and easy to setup.
