I't fairly easy to learn and integrate. It's visual and it's fairly robust.

Compatibility, ease of use, great tools for detailed takeoffs.

I found a program at a price that was better than the others. It seems much more do-able for me.

What I like about OST is it’s easy to use you can get the hang of the Badi oh very quickly and it helps you count items onscreen from a pdf plan or TIFF file. Measures distances, counts and areas.

Product is a bit on the pricey side - but is definitely very effective and I would recommend to anyone doing digital take offs.

Very easy to use and like being able to down load the contact information. Also its nice to be able to see every important information about the company.

I been using it for ten years OST Takeoff and Quick bid it seems to work fine but i just  require substantial time to synchronize both products.

Excellent tool for accurate compilation of quantities from pdf's. I highly recommend this to high volume estimators such as myself.

The software has no ability to copy and paste into a document. No real other complaints.

Easy to do simple measurements and counts. The various levels and labels are nice, also being able to change colors makes it easy to differentiate between items.

I liked the ability to organize and derive quantities in different ways. One line item can yield several quantities in different units of measurement.

In QuickBid they easily become buried in the bid and get missed. Adding drawing numbers and names function in OnScreen Takeoff does not work well.

Easy to use and nice display screen. Easy to measure things on the drawings.

I loved it for being fast but to many  options can slow me down a bit.

Inability to interact with drawings and a terrible UI.

If you also pay for QuickBids, it integrates well with that. The tech help service is outstanding.

The flexability of being able to copy pages and do different things that helps me be able to look at different pricing.

My take-offs are clean and easy to understand. My production has more than doubled and the results are better.

But their policy was not to refund although they made a promise that was false showing they value money over principles. Very misleading and I am sickened by the way they do business.

Inability to label linear conditions. Inability to increase the size of the font on condition labels.

The only thing I get frustrated with is the lag with some of the functions.

I have tried other Takeoff software, but this is the best for me. I like this product because it is user friendly and has several built in tools that others may not have.

OST is a very easy to use tool to do take offs with and what we like most about it is. Fast Counts for areas, Linear feet, And counts.

There are a lot of functions in this program and it can be extremely confusing if you do not take the time to learn it properly.

I enjoy the quick and professional technical support. They are always responsive, pleasant and helpful.

Overall, great experience. Saves a lot of time when preparing for estimates/bids.

Documents are not always up to date. Assuming the documents on Smartuse are the most current could leads to mistakes.

The ability to perform inspections directly from the app is good. I can capture photos, record observations, and assign tasks, which has helped streamline the process.

Overall it has been a great experience with Smartuse, including any and all calls to Smartuse support. I would recommend this software to anyone.

Is to be able to edit the drop down lists of names that have been previously entered. Especially in the case of spelling errors.

The ability to create multiple layers and give permissions to those individual layers is  huge advantage of Smartuse. Our users like the ability to manage their markups using that function.

Sometimes difficult to search within the documentation.

Inability to view drawings without an internet connection.

We use it for every projects we have on the daily. BUT the problems I cited NEED to be corrected rapidly if you want to have a better product.

Smart use was very useful to go back and see previous revisions of drawings. Overall it was very useful for the project.

Only thing is it was difficult to initially use the platform.

I like that it can be used on tablets and the files can be cached and viewed whether the field guys have internet or not.

It's a friendly user product, with a lot of features and ease of access.

The user-based accessibility at first is challenging, and the tutorial videos lack in explanation. After someone who had the program helped me learn, however, it is now simple and straightforward.

For the project i used this on, it was a good way to stay on top of the ever changing and additional scope for the project.

It was easy to use, it is like most of the other software out on the market so if you have used any of the others you will be able to use this software with ease.

We are 100% satisfied with the integration of Smartuse in our company since 2018. It has become an absolute necessity to simplify our project management over the years.

I don't like the long rows. They are too long and I can not see all info in one view.

Great tool, easy to learn and intuitive. Our younger employees enjoy it very much and it doesn't require a long time to be comfortable with it.
