Amazing and mind-blowing. This has quickly become a piece of required business software that I will always have in my arsenal.

Fathom was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad she did. After she showed me the notes it took for one of her meetings, I immediately went and downloaded it. Installing and creating an account was quick and very easy. Ever since then, I haven't looked back and I've used it in every client and team meeting. What impressed me the most is the notes at the very end of the recap - "Next Steps". It is so spot in I'm blown away every single time. I've even had clients tell me how impressed they are by Fathom and have since started using it themselves. The notes are incredibly detailed and accurate that I no longer feel like I'm the one telling people what to do. It's all there in the "next steps" section. Plus, integration was so easy. It's synced to my calendar so it jumps into all of my meetings and asks to join just like a person would. At that point, I can choose to the system into my meeting or cancel the recording. As a bonus, it also reminds me on my desktop of my next meeting. I honestly can't imagine my life without Fathom.

I have yet to find anything that I don't like about the software. You all have thought of everything.

I have had a hard time remember meeting notes and it is hard to run a meeting and take notes. This not only helps in tracking meetings, actions but also helps organize notes more effectively. It has been a game changer and when I share my notes with meeting attendants and they are amazed by the accuracy and organization of the notes

I have really been appreciating the ai summary of meetings.

The transcription is full of misspellings, misattributions, and missing text. But the ai summary is clear and gets the gist of the meetings perfectly.

I am extremely happy. Massive time saver for me and I am already trying to convince people I know to start using it.

That the Ai note taking part is super sharp, and the email summaries I get at the end save me hours a week. I am comparing to other tools here, but I´ve never had one where I just trusted it had understood and therefore didn´t need to verify.

This is kinda harsh, as it is just a feature I´d like, but the ability to instruct the AI note taker as to what kinda things to focus on in different kinds of meetings, so when I have calls with externals, assume it is sales and focus on XYZ, when its a meeting with person X, it is a short daily, focus on ZYX, etc. Also, that it gives the same amount of notes regardless of the meeting length,

I'm obsessed with the key takeaways, the high-level breakdown of the meeting, the summary of who said what, and the fact that there's also a full transcript of the meeting that I can search through using keywords. I love that I can share the Fathom link with my clients and they don't have to sign up or have a Fathom account to view the content - it makes the process so frictionless. It was so easy to set up! I also love that it gives me a countdown to my next meeting + the meeting name in my menu bar. I've recommended this tool to several people and will continue to do so!

I am using Fathom primarily as a notetaker within client meetings. I've used 4 other products for this function, and so far, this is the winner.

Could be more accurate with names, but we have a variety of accents within our organization. This is always a weak spot for most. I'd love the ability to correct it one time and have it apply that learning to other instances.

So far, none. The user interface is rather old fashioned, but still quite navigable.

Fathom takes notes and summarizes data with crazy accuracy! It was super easy for our whole organization to implement and use. Our team is spread out throughout the US and mostly remote, so having this for internal meetings has been a lifesaver. I love that not only does it summarize, but it will also provide a transcript that you can search for and provide a recording. It saves all recordings for you, and it's easy to send them to teammates. Its accuracy on the summarization is insane! It doesn't just write down what you said word for word; it summarizes in complete sentences, provides action items, etc. It truly blew my team away. It also aligns with your Outlook calendar and will update you when future meetings arise. We use it for most of our online meetings.

My only issue with Fathom is that sometimes it gets a little glitchy with Zoom calls. Or if I log onto a meeting that I dont want recorded it can take some time to remove it from the meeting. Most of these issues are easy to get around though.

I can’t think of anything features of Fathom that I don’t like.

It's very easy to use and you can set it to start with all your meetings if desired. I have the Mac app installed, which is easy to install and setup. I use Fathom with almost all my meetings. After the meeting is over you will almost immediately get an email with the full transcript, the recorded video with linked timestamps and multiple summary options. These options are amazing! Depending on the type of meeting (sales call, project kick-off), the summary will be presented in a very meaningful structure that you can use as a base for your next steps. The notes are also linked to timestamps in the original conversation so you can refer back to them for details. There are several options for exporting the conversation and summaries, including Notion, Google Docs, Asana, Gmail, Todoist and MS Word. It also creates a list of the questions that are asked by all attendees, which can be used for so many things. You can download the video if needed and send it to all attendees with a quick link. And when you view all meetings they each have a video thumbnail, which makes it so much easier to sort through. Support has always been top-notch. They answer quickly and are very helpful.

Fathom does so much more than just transcribe your meetings. It has a control panel that you can view like a sidebar during your meetings, so you can tell it that you want to "highlight" what you are talking about or mark it as an "action item". With these options, you truely don't have to worry about taking notes and you can focus on the conversation.

Perhaps if the action items could have title for you instead of having to type them in while on the meeting, that would be helful. If there's anything else I wish something had or needs fixing, support is always available and listens to feedback.

Absolutely fabulous. It has really changed the power of my own sales, as well as enabled me to take dives into each agent and figure out what may or may not have gone well in a call. The fact that I can mark to-dos in the meeting as I say them, and have them pushed into my CRM task list is remarkable. I went from someone who had a lot of trouble remembering everything that was promised in a meeting (without an assistant or a note taker) to not forgetting a single thing. It really is amazing.

I love the seamless interface to have it join meetings, and then the little widget that allows you to mark important things in the meeting is a total game-changer for my sales calls.

Not much honestly. I guess it goes down every now and then, but what software doesn't. I wish it could record my phone calls the same way it does the Zoom meetings.

I'm very happy with Fathom. It was a free service for me until their recent AI upgrade. It wasn't mandatory that I subscribed -- I could have not used the AI service -- but in the free trial they started for me, it was pretty good. AI is still, IMO, not great at summarizing meetings, but Fathom's is the best I've seen. It's suprisingly really good and accurate. I'm not ready yet to stop taking notes on calls, but if Fathom's AI keeps doing what's it's done so far, then I will. It's really a good tool so far (it's very new, like 3-4 weeks).

It records every scheduled Zoom call automatically. We use it for recording all of our client calls, of which we have many. Inevitably, on many calls, someone missed a detail or a to-do item. We can go back to Fathom and find it very quickly. If it wasn't automatic, we'd certainly forget from time to time.

The only downside I've seen so far is that you can't share the links to the recordings automatically among your team. Everyone has to ask me for the link if they need it.

I love that the videos/transcripts save to the platform rather than your computer. Everything is in one place in your account and doesn't take up precious real estate on your hard drive. I love how easy it is to use - it took no time to onboard! The feature that allows you to categorize and customize important moments in the meeting has saved me hours of time! It allows me to go back and quickly revisit the section!

I really wish it could join meetings that require registration on Zoom. We host quarterly community events with upwards of 100 people and usually have a special guest speaker. We need to require registration so we know how many people to expect. I'm responsible for writing a summary of the event and fathom can't help me yet.

After the call is done, I have a full transcript, and an AI summary. Both are linked to their exact moments in the video That allows me to keep record of all of our meetings, and I've been able to direct clients to the recording instead of answering the same question repeatedly. It also helps us look back to a conversation to remember what was said.

I'm afraid the rug will get ripped out from under me and I'll have to pay to access my files some day. Is it too good to be true? Otherwise, I wish I could edit the transcripts.

Fathom helps me leave my laptop home and take calls using my iPad knowing that the recording will be available to me/clients (no need to carry a notebook when traveling). It also helps me focus on my client and not worry about note taking. Highlighting sections of the conversation is handy when needing to remember something that was said and the upgraded AI Summary is excellent!

The cloud recording is just awesome, this is a handy feature and that's not even speaking of the AI features such as rich summary and transcript function!

The odd time, Live Stream cloud recording (still in beta) seems to fail without rime or reason and manually restarting it is hit/miss.

The problem it solves for me is issues with inaccurate note-taking (by others generally) and saves me time. I am also more focused on meetings now due to having it which means I can serve my clients better. I love this software and have had an amazing experience since I first started using it. I highly recommend it to everyone!

I first started using Fathom six months ago when I had rotator cuff surgery and was in a sling for 6 weeks and unable to type. I run several meetings a week, I work with online business owners to grow and scale their online businesses and I also do coaching and consulting. I say that to explain that in ALL the meetings I run, I take MANY notes. Not being able to type had me worried so I found and tried out Fathom a couple weeks prior to my surgery and I fell in love with it! I no longer have to manually make notes of to-do items or key points to follow up on. It was also so easy to use, and the learning curve was small, so anyone who is tech-challenged can use this! I learned it very fast, and here I am seven months later, using it for every meeting I have. I can now be more present in meetings since I am not manually capturing so much information. One feature I love is the transcript and how I can search based on keywords. I find myself doing this weekly, and it is amazing for me. So it's also saving me time after meetings, whereas before, I'd have to take time rewatching parts of a recording, and time is money! Out of all the software I use (and I have used a lot in my 10+ years in online business) this is one of the top tools I now recommend to anyone!

Personally, I have not experienced any downside to it at all!

Fathom is super easy to use and set up. It integrates easily with Zoom, Google meet, and Hubspot. Their Al summaries cannot be beat. I've seen summaries from other vendors and Fathom's are by far the best. Its really been a breath of fresh air not to have to take such detailed notes on ever call. I can now just listen to the call and click on action items as they come up knowing that I will get a really good summary of the call afterwards. The call summaries include action items and next steps. Fathom has been super helpful for repeat meetings to quickly review what happened in the last meeting. They also make it easy to share videos with other colleagues.

If I'm being nit picky, we some times have multiple team members on the same zoom call. I am able to stop fathom from joining the call but I wish there was a setting so that I could prevent my Fathom account from joining the call if another member on my team was already recording the call.

One of the most controversial issues in the past was not recording notes accurately during virtual meetings, as we needed to re-listen to the entire recording and take notes manually, which required much effort and manual work. Fathom removed all that burden from us, as its unique tools helped us simplify the procedures, and the copying process became automated, which enabled us to write down everything and prepare it within the designated form so that we could follow it up accurately, and make the necessary updates in the upcoming meetings.

It is excellent to use Fathom to understand meetings in virtual reality, as we can, with simple steps, record video clips as well as calls directly and convert them into texts, which helps us to ensure that minutes of meetings are written accurately, without neglecting any details, even if they are small. Fathom is very easy to use, and I can organize everything saved within the records to go back and update my previous notes quickly. I appreciate how Fathom can engage with colleagues to ask for updates or get more clarification on specific points.

It's saving me loads of time during meetings (note-taking) and after meetings (summarizing and following up). It allows me to fully focus and be present; the best thing one can be. It also have great features which are versatile and useful for all kinds of meetings.

The user interface isn't super intuitive at first, it takes a few clicks to familiarize yourself with how it works (but after that, it's a breeze). There is room for improvement with their branding and digital presence. There is also lots of space for them to capitalize on their tools for other use cases, which I've already suggested, I'm excited to see what they do next!

Fathom fits seemlessly into out existing workflow and provides our entire team with value without having to work for it. Being able to implement it and have it integrate directly with hubspot without our any lift from our sales team has been a driving force behind the team's adoption. We use fathom for all meetings, as the ability to summarize meetings and provide action items has pushed us to use google meet in one off internal meetings where we may not have previously. The team at Fathom has also been incredibly responsive to feedback and contiunes to improve the product.

It is hard to find something not to like with a free version that provides so much value

Most helpful is the fact I no longer have to take notes, the notes from Fathom come in less than a minute, I can share with the person I was on the Zoom with and they are impressed with how quickly they get the info. I love how concise the notes are as well, seamless integration with Zoom. As a business person this is an exception tool to have so you really get the opportunity to be in the moment with no distractions knowing all the important info will be captured.. On the fence give it a try.. you will see all the benefits and the time it saves, way quicker than Zoom recordings as well. I am on zoom meets everyday and I use it at least 3 times a day. I havent had to reach out to customer support but if the app is anything to go by, the customer support should rock. Very easy to use as well..love it cause I am not tekky.. lol

The fact that it can only record 2 people ... at a time.. but who knows whats coming I am sure that is part of the future...
