The learning process and bi-weekly trainings have been great. I feel as though we have grown into the process with the other non-profits in my cohort.

I also really like that you can use formulas--from simple to complex--to generate targeted ask strings for constituents in emails and donation forms. And that is the best thing about Luminate Online.

The initial training and ongoing resources are great. The support team is helpful, and if you ever use client services, they are even better.

Small snags in integration and imperfections in the product become sore points after a while, and the only way to overcome them is to have some serious web-developing firepower at your command.

The things I dislike are. It takes a very long time to learn how to use it well.

That said, after over a year of having and using this product, I do believe it is worth buying. I am constantly finding myself appreciating the automation (I use it for targeted email welcome series).

If you want a product that's incredibly easy to use, extremely useful and super intuitive, this is it. Creating donation forms is point and click, drag and drop easy, and it integrates with RE easily.

It's similar to other products but, it seems to lack some of the features of Salesforce.

I am also thrilled with its capability to automate recurring giving, providing recurring donors with logins to self-manage some of their giving information.

I also did not appreciate being charged for any little feature I wanted to add to my account that really should have come standard.

The frontend of Luminate Online is highly flexible if you are willing and able to invest the time and expense.

Limited number of custom fields available. Clunky interface that's difficult to train new employees on.

I recommend this product to larger non-profits with large budgets depending on the size of web, marketing, and communications staff and their capacity. It's a big product, and it is spendy.

It's a great tool for event, volunteer management and crowdfunding.

It is easy to use once you spend the time to learn the product and receive the appropriate training.

I loved how easy it was to navigate and learn.

There really is no functionality for org-type records, let alone the ability to manage and communicate with contacts.

It's almost unbelievable that any 21st century software product that provides event management functions would be incapable of collecting the most rudimentary, necessary information for an event.

Luminate in all of its iterations is a perfect example of this. It used to be Convio, its own, standalone non-profit software company.

I appreciate that it has a robust support team behind it, which can be accessed by phone or chat. And I certainly love the recurring gift management aspect.

The advantages of an all-in-one suite are quickly lost due to abandoned or buggy modules forcing customers to supplement with 3rd-party products.

I also really dislike the event management piece of Luminate Online. It lacks basic functionality, such as the ticket buyer being able to provide guest names.

TractionNext provides all the features, reporting more and the customer support is also excellent.

Ease of use,  ability to send SMS, drag and drop and forms features, conditional content, and excellent customer support.

We know the number of coming in, from what substance and we can guarantee they are followed up.

All the issues we faced using the platform in its previous version have been addressed and TractionNext is an excellent tool for our communication needs.

Easy to use content and design. Subject line AB testing can be very helpful.

Managing the database is also easy because of the ability to classify the various contacts in our ever growing database. Customer support is also very prompt and helpful.

The preview in desktop and mobile is good. Pricing si very competitive, and probably biggest reason we have remained with Traction for so long.

I used to use Eloqua so in comparison Traction is very limited.

Traction Next software upgrade is reliable and delivers customer expectations. It is an excellent tool to improve our marketing strategies and communicate with your subscribers.

Traction Next is a great product and the support we receive is excellent.

The ability to segment our customer database using many parameters.

Being able to log on from in the office and home is good.

The product is easy to use and navigate. The best features are the drop and drag templates, the ability to add dynamic/personalised content and the single view of a contact.

Not being able to swap between drag and drop/WYSIWIYG/HTML creation styles without breaking the responsiveness is annoying. The media library is a bit clunky with the last release.

Ease of use without agency interation and fees.

With knowledge of HTML I would like to have the option to switch the HTML in some of the drop and drag modules.

However I have never had trouble in getting help to resolve issues. Overall we are happy with TractionNext and would recommend them without any hesitation.
