Good Product

So far the system is very good for it's intended purpose. It allows to the sales person and the delivery to plan the route together. The real time tracking and the route tracking of each driver is very good and helps to plan the day and the up coming days. Having a dot on the map showing where something needs to be delivered is also another way to create the best route for each driver. Overall it is a good product once you figure out all the little icons.

PROS

Being able to have both their route drawn on the map and there current location allows for estimating the drivers return time and if they will have time for another delivery. Additionally, building routes for multiple drivers helps to make deliveries more efficient and helps to limit overlapping delivery areas. The easy of building routes and customizing the order makes the system very user friendly.

CONS

One draw back is that the system does not update the shipping address when it is changed in the ERP system it is tied to. The color scheme needs to have some options so that the dispatch screens can been seen better. Currently, the white and the light grey our close to the same color so it's hard to tell what is highlighted and what's not. Especially, when project the software on to a large screen TV.

PROS

That it ties into ACDelco Connection for buyers to see.

CONS

Very robust program and not always easy to navigate as well as drivers ETAs are never right. Also, need to work on the geo fencing.

Elite has Helped scale our business

Overall a great tool that has helped scale our business and grow a lot!

PROS

It has allowed our clients to have a new forum in which they can view and track their customers orders. It has allowed us to modernize our systems and market ourselves better.

CONS

The driver tracking and GPS systems on the app are not the best and sometimes take our drivers to the wrong locations. It also allows drivers to get off the app so we can no longer track them

Elite Extra - a strong third partner business partner via ease of use and service

While my exposure was limited, it was one of the best third party pieces of software to work with. It was seldom down, and when it was, the cause was of the failure was usually pretty easy to track down and correct.

PROS

Elite was already an established process within the organization when I joined. My role was to add new warehouses to the process and to assist the office staff in managing the behind the scenes file processing when a failure occurred at some point in the process. What I liked most was that the process was logical and easy to interact with throughout the process (in reference to third party processes).

CONS

Technical support. I know first hand that the user community enjoys a robust interactive support system, but having to the product late I did not have a strong relationship with Elite's technical staff. That seldom created a problem as the process to interact with Elite was intuitive and very straight forward.

Has been a great relationship between our company and Elite for many years. We have grown along with Elite over the years having intertwined our businesses beautifully.

PROS

I like the whole package. Couldn't imagine our company running without this product

CONS

Wish could take and store pics at time of delivery and store with tracking/delivery information like ups/fedex.

We chose this at the time because it really was a more complete product at the time for a very reasonable amount of money.

Parts Delivery

PROS

We love the live tracking and proof of delivery options. Being able to take photos that are automatically saved under the invoice number allows for a secondary check system to ensure the correct parts and quantities got delivered if a discrepancy arises, allowing us to better take care of our customers and dealership.

CONS

There are lots of options with reporting that we love. But they are set reports with only a few filter options. When reporting our profit, with driver mileage with customer info etc. I have to pull a few reports and combine them in excel. Would like to see more filter or include options.

Just get it!

We were told when we were first talking about using elite EXTRA to just get it and I would mirror that sentiment. If you are on the fence DO IT.

PROS

Having proof of delivery including GPS points and photos has helped us to not lose money when a customer claims to have not gotten a delivery.

CONS

Elite EXTRA has so many capabilities that have to be "turned on" and sometime we were not even aware that it was available. This is becoming less common because all the videos and emails are great.

EliteEXTRA is the best technology partner I have ever worked with

EliteEXTRA is by far the best technology product and partner I have ever worked with. Implementation was easy, support is excellent, and their product has become a critical part of our organization.

PROS

Very user friendly. Once you start using it, you can't function without it because it's so good!

CONS

The system does not have a great process for handling orders delivered manually (outside of EliteEXRA).

Great Product and Support.

It has been a awesome experience working with Elite Extra. The ease of use of the product is easy to train new staff, as well as a quicker reference for order control and order management.

PROS

I love the ability that we have to view and take pictures of our product as it is delivered. This helps helps with accountabilaty towards the driver as well as the customer. This one feature alone has saved us thousands of dollars per month.

CONS

Route developement with future customers or customers not in the system is not available to be done easily. And sometimes using android phones at the driver level, sometime the system is glitchy, however the apple phone users have 0 issues.

Great Tool

PROS

It is nice to be able to track drivers and what they have on their truck in real time.

CONS

There are features other competitors use that we haven't been shown how to use yet. Example would be our customer being updated as well on delivery status and what invoice they are bringing them.

I like the ability to see where the drivers are moving to and from. The ability to also send on-time messages is also key.

Elite Extra, including electronic DVIR

The Elite Extra team are readily available, open to one-off needs for interface with our Oracle system for data management tools, and are constantly seeking to add features to meet our needs. This tool has been easily and quickly adopted by all of our locations.

PROS

Multiple capabilities for dispatch, plus inclusion of electronic DVIR, although the readily available live support is also outstanding.

CONS

Takes initial training, as it is not intuitive initially for a self starter; however, this is not unlike most software platforms.

Small time user

The entire team that we dealt with made the process so simple. They took our inputs and turned it into a wonderful final product. They didn't just simply turn it over to us and make us figure out how to use it. They offered multiple training sessions and made sure we were comfortable with the product before we went live with it. They even followed up after we were live to see if they could provide any more support.

PROS

They customize the software to do as little or as much as you want. We are a small time user just getting going with the product and it works great.

CONS

Haven't run across any issues with it yet.

Great addition to our fleet

We are so pleased with the results and would recommend this to anyone that has to put delivery routes together that change constantly. You will save time and money.

Fantastic Tool!

They have fantastic customer service and are always very quick to respond to questions.

Elite Extra gives us the ability to track deliveries, assign drivers, keep track of COD monies, and retrieve POD's.

CONS

It looks a little scary to those without much experience using computers or apps, but once they see how easy it is, it's no problem.

EXCELLENT & EASY SOFTWARE TO USE

Highly Satisfied. The use of the software daily makes its very manageable to ensure the courier are meeting the client's needs as they arrive and while they are on site at, the times they are needed.

Excellent Source

Overall a fantastic experience. It has helped me a lot.

I love being able to check when my delivery is going to arrive to my customer and also when it arrived and who signed for it. So many times customer ask where the part is and this has saved me.
