Ben and coworkers
I recently used my L&D allowance to acquire a few courses and it was easier to use than I expected.
PROSI really enjoy the option to have all corporate benefits on the same platform, as well as the other options available on Ben.
CONSIt's more my own limitation than Ben's. I'm still learning how to use some of the features, understanding if they are applicable for people living in Portugal (which is my case), and to what extent I can use some of the features as a Scede employee.

Confusing system with poorly articulated benefits
The portal is relatively easy to navigate around, but had conflicting benefits £ info on the summary dashboard vs what is within the dedicated page about each benefit, making it really difficult to keep track of what you're spending on your benefits.
CONSThe service our business received has been really quite poor. They were late to deliver the portal, meaning our launch was delayed by a few weeks. They then miscommunicated various things about some of the benefits, particularly the Thanks Ben Flex Wallet. It was made out that by having a flex fund on your Thanks Ben card, you would get tax relief on the money that you spend via that card, upto a fixed amount each month. However, it later transpired that there is no tax relief, so there is no benefit whatsoever to using the flex wallet vs just having that money go into your salary and spending the money as normal. It's literally a completely pointless product!

Where has this been all my career?
Overall Ben and the people we've worked with have been amazing, helpful and quick to respond.
PROSThis enables us to be super flexible with our benefits, it's easy to get set up and they are always improving their platform.
CONSWe are a globally distributed team and Ben continues to work to address our use case. They are really good about taking feedback and putting it on their roadmap, it can just be normal growing pains.
