Excellent Recruitment Hiring Tool

I love using VideoCV . The simplicity of the system appeals me to the most . I can select a larger pool of candidates to interview using this as a recruiting tool. It reduces time to hire and interview time.

PROS

Easy and simple to use Uncomplicated Excellent Customer Service Easily accessible Integration

CONS

Before integration with our ATS , I had to copy information across. However , this problem has now been resolved with integration between the two.

VideoCV is my time saver and a very good "filter".

PROS

VideoCV software is very user-friendly. No particular knowledge is needed to use it.

CONS

I have not noticed any impracticalities so far.

Great way for making the recruitment more efficient

I'm very pleased with personalised and great customer service. Interesting and useful tool for sure! If only everyone would be more open on sending the video replies. But perhaps one day it's a new normality and people aren't scared of it.

PROS

First impression is the most important and video CV gives you opportunity to screen the candidates who are brilliant in giving good first impression. Helps a lot to validate the cultural fit and overall motivation. Gives me opportunity to dig deeper in the first round interviews.

CONS

I don't like that there is a big portion of candidates who don't reply at all. Maybe they would have turned out brilliant in the first round interview but they got rejected due to unresponsiveness.

Good experience with VideoCV

PROS

Candidates answer some questions on VideoCV, which gives the first impression and overview about the candidates' language or any other required skills. The video can be shared with the manager and the feedback can also be handled on the same platform. It is easy to use and no additional instructions are required for the candidates involved - just send the link and wait for the video.

CONS

There are no special cons to highlight.

How VideoCV helped Coolbet

PROS

We are using Teamtailor and the integration was super easy. We love the fact that we can post an introduction interview of the position and team so that the candidate can have a better understanding. VideoCV has saved a lot of our time. Thanks to it, we have to have much less screening interviews or have managed to eliminate that stage from recruitment entirely.

CONS

Maybe I just haven't found that option yet but it seems that we can add our employees as users to the platform but can't assign them to a specific job posting.

VideoCV is a great app to improve recruitment quality

PROS

It is so simple to use, that you don't need to train managers and people, who are hiring. Great and easy-made videos give you a quick and good overview of candidate motivation, values and needs. So for the interview, you have enough information to analyze candidates better and deeper.

CONS

Unfortunately, did not meet functions, which disappointed our team :)

More candidates in less time - win-win!

It's been really beneficial to our recruitment process, making it faster, easier and more inclusive as it allows more people to show and prove themselves (who maybe wouldn't have had a chance solely based on their CV). Thanks to VideoCV, we get to meet so many more candidates and understand, which ones are truly motivated.

PROS

Helps us meet more candidates in less time, and filter out truly motivated people - the kind that we want!

CONS

The UI/UX could me improved, as well as some functionalities, for example seeing other team members' reviews more easily; not having to log in every time I open a VideoCV tab in the browser (even when I have multiple open and logged in); seeing which candidate you've shared with which team member, etc.

Saves a lot of time (company and candidate) Easy, not to have to find mutal time with hiring manager and candidate.

The idea of it, and that we can implement it with our hiring platform.

Sometimes videos got lost that were recorded ( re-appeared later) Sometimes is not following up with Teamtailor (maybe their error)

Review of videoCV

PROS

I like that it is easy to share the videos with hiring managers.

CONS

Sometimes creating a new job post can take more time as you have to save each step separately. If you forget to save the steps as you go, then you have to start from the beginning and do all the steps again.
