What I like most about Label Matrix is being able to have as many custom labels as needed. It keeps it consistent, so the customer gets what they ask for every time.

The only problem we have come across is running out of our license. I'm not aware if a notice is sent out ahead of time or not, but this will cause the system to be down for a day, sometimes longer.

Love the software, hate that every year when i upgrade laptops it becomes such an issue to get the software moved over. I am currently running on a 10 year old version because customer service always wants me to pay 100's of dollars for some upgrade that will not enhance my use of the product.

I love the ease of adding barcodes for marketing materials, printing labels and creating basic signage.

I HATE that my software basically becomes useless when I upgrade my laptop.

Teklynx first told our customer that it was a product that could be interfaced with and controlled like CodeSoft and BarTender. When having difficulties and questions during our software development, we were then told that No, you shouldn't be using LabelMatrix like that. At which point the customer and our company were already committed and had to proceed with lackluster support from Teklynx.

I've been selling and using Label Matrix for 40 years. It has evolved into a wonderful label generation software package at a very manageable cost, affordable for every business. It has the high power features to get the job done for every business need.

It's easy to use, it's very functional, it has OBDC functionality so a database can be constructed and with a single label template information can be pulled from the database to print multiple different labels.

It doesn't have the ability to do curved characters

So far my experience with Label Matrix has been pleasant. Designing labels is easy to do using the label design software, and transferring the draft into batch print jobs has been easy. Explaining to users how to navigate the software after initial setup was fairly simple and our end users were able to pick up the ins and outs rather quickly.

I really enjoyed the technical support and customer service I have received from Label Matrix software and company. Their technicians were able to get us up and running in a high demand distribution warehouse.

There was a bit of a learning curve for our end users to figure out how to print correctly. The print screen could be simpler.

I like it. I have used it for over 20 years now and would buy it again if needed.

It works very consistently. The barcode designer is powerful and easy to use. The database functions are straightforward and work well.

Some barcode printers need different drivers to work properly. I think the issue is more the printer than Label Matrix though.

It works well for the labels we produce.

I like the flexibility of designing after understanding the basics of the program.

It's not able to produce GS1 bar codes.

I used the software years ago. We needed to purchase a new subscription to the software so it could work with newer Windows versions. We hesitated because of the price, but we needed a solution for printing barcodes and labels.

Price. We hesitated due to the price. We needed something so we went with a software that I had used in the past.

As a company we don't stay up to date on new versions. That's not a knock against Label Matrix. It's the only con but it's on us.

We utilize many of the features and it works good for our needs.

The use of templates and the ability to print labels from a command prompt, which allows a database to be used as a front-end and invoke label printing from a command-line, specifying template to use, destination printer and # of Labels for the print job.

Initial setup required a support call to get the license key and permissions installed correctly. But they were very quick to respond and solution only took a few minutes.

It works great and is simple. Not much else to say.

I cannot add a single machine license to our count. I would have to buy it all over in a 5 pack license. We are working on switching to a different product so we are not paying for what we don't need.

Support has been good and product works well. The process of upgrading is not to bad. The worst thing is the license it really is a pain, especially when used on a VM

Label Matrix has helped us immensely during the last 12 years to create labels and has never failed in any way.

The quick label design saves lots of time and complications.

Very user friendly and has many styles to choose from in regards to Fonts,. Size, Style.

Sometimes if you hit the wrong button you only receive half of the amount you want. Must be dilegant in entering the amount of numbers you want to add to the quantity to print or you may end up with many more than needed.

the printer and the program are low maintenance

very little customer support. but as it's low maintenance, I rarely have to deal with customer support
