Pros
- Great to connect with lecturers and have a unified platform for all courses material. Allows multimedia file transfers and integration with third party application like Turnedin.
- I like it because it is easy to use and it is easily available on internet. You can download it free of cost.
Cons
- There was always the possibility of losing your work if you timed out or hit the wrong key, especially on a laptop.
- I hate that there is not an autosave feature, specially when building quizzes. More than once, I accidentally save the quiz without saving the individual question and loose a ton of work.
Pros
- I like how easy it is to assign classes, monitor grades and implement new programs.
- I have been involved working with Convergence as one of the pilot GP sites. The application has a nice design, solid performance and I experience great customer service.
Cons
- The report options and report results view has some limitations. Also, the bulk versus individual assignments tool can be confusing.
- We should really be using the application for all verification and certification but there is considerable churn in our organization so it is difficult to keep up with administrator training.
