My experience with Lending Pad
I am very pleased I made the move a couple years ago!
PROSLending Pad is very easy to use and manage compared to my prior LOS by Ellie Mae used for too many years. Integration to Lending Pad was not a difficult process. I create custom forms to be efficient and was able to also do this when I transferred to Lending Pad. Also. being able for more than one person to work on a loan file in the office or remotely was a big plus for me!
CONSAn LOS is an evolving program. I do not have complaints and make suggestions as needed.
Reason for choosing LendingPad
I started with The Loan Handler in 1997 that became Elie Mae. After many years, I was more than ready to make a change to my LOS. I considered the Byte product introduced to me at NAMB Vegas, and by "chance" met Wes from Lending Pad at the NAMB booth. Wes gave me a brief demonstration on the spot and was impressed by the easy of use, simplicity, and lower cost. It's been two years and I never looked back!
Reasons for switching to LendingPad
I did not trust my prior LOS, especially in regards to determining cash needed to close. Ellie Mae was too big for a small company like mine. Customer service was difficult and the software was expensive for what I received.

Lendingpad is a great mortgage loan software
Excellent, its a 1000% improvement over our old system.
PROSIts consistent and is easy to use once it is setup. It has all the features you would need.
CONSNot a lot. There are a dozen little features i would like to see but its very good.

They charge for setup but there is no setup or support and no refunds!
After paying $500 for setup I didn't receive any setup help, there was a terrible onboarding call from a very rude rep and when I tried setting up system by myself I realized so many option items were missing which were promised. I asked them to cancel my service and issue a refund and they closed my account and refused to issue any refund after charging less then a week ago for $592.00 now I have opened a credit card dispute to get my money back but I want anyone deciding not to go with them they are running a scam and you will end up paying for 2 systems!!!
PROSThere is nothing to like about them, their customer service is non-existing, they do not offer trial and once you sing-up you find out there are too many components you were promised and are not provided to you, you try setting up system even though they charge $500 for setup and none of their promise is fulfilled, and they close your account after a week and refuse to issue a refund back... SCAMMER!!!
CONSThey have terrible software and no support or setup which they charge you $500 for, liers!!

CONSI asked for directs how to cancel service because my renewal was coming. And because I asked, they cancelled my service and took my data and refused to give it back without an extra fee of over $1,000 to get my own data back, even thought i did not give permission

Dear Ms. Basile, We looked at our records and found that we did cancel your service and close the account at your request. Data and documents in the account will be deleted permanently in 7 days after closure. However, in a later message, you contacted us to log back into the account to move your data. At that time the account was already closed, and the contract has already expired (1/19/2021). As instructed by our support, the only option at that time, prior to complete data deletion was to purchase one seat so we can re-activate the account. However, you were unwilling to do that. We hope this clarifies your questions and will take this feedback to further improve our service in the future. LendingPad CSR

A+ Origination System
It is user friendly and good to work with a tool that is on your side.
PROSLove the flow of the application and how fast the responds are when requesting help on items within LendingPad.
CONSThat I can't speak to a person when needed. Sometimes we are going back and forth messaging each other for 15 minutes when a phone call would have taken 1 minute.

My Broker made the switch for us. They found it to be more useful when it came to reporting and a great tool to use for Origination.

Ok at best
Plenty of room from improvement. The customer service chat is a great feature. But there are too many small issues. All 2300 loan officers in my company experience the same issues and LendingPad doesnt seem to care to fix the issues. Too glitchy, missing useful features like document requests.
PROSI like the layout and the overral feel for LendingPad. The customer support is excellent and accessible.
CONSIt can be very glitchy. It does not save my work. I often have to add a number over and over as it does not save. When I have clients apply they often will create 3-4 applications by accident. Customers hate the layout and doing online applications. Its very hard to request documents from clients, there is no way to do it or request it through LP.

I like that it's easy to use, mobile-friendly and cost-effective.
CONSThe POS is not fully functional. I would like to see improvements to the POS so we can have a full-service POS / LOS under one developer.

Impractical for Startup Organizations
I have not come embrace the product. I am evaluating other products before onboarding additional staff.
PROSNothing really. I chose it, because on the Internet it was advertised as the new generation of Loan Origination Software.
CONSThe way that support is delivered, and the culture and attitude of the support team.

I was told that since it is the latest product, it has many modern features that make loan origination and reporting easy. I do not believe that these claims are true.

LendingPad assessment
Good to very good - we recognize operator user is part of the problem but we need more complete data on our reports. We need more training, and not just a video to watch. Thank you!
PROSI like the potential of obtaining the full data on each loan when I need it.

Customer Service makes it that much better
First off, I am not the most tech savvy person, but when I have questions, the customer service team, makes it that much better and way easier..
CONSIn the beginning, maybe not knowing how to navigate it.. Little by little I have come accustom to the system and it is getting way easier for me.

OVERALL, LENDING PAD IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT FOR MORTGAGE ORIGINATION. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IT IS UP TO DATE ON THE FORMS AND CONNECTIVITY WITH THE TOOLS NECESSARY TO PROCESS A MORTGAGE LOAN APPLICATION.
PROSCUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND IT IS LINKED TO THE NECESSARY TOOLS TO PROCESS A LOAN APPLICATION.
CONSTOO MANY BUTTONS AND NOT SO EASY TO NAVIGATE. I AM GUESSING MANY CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLS ARE DUE TO NAVIGATING CONFUSION.

Great System Robust

Review Loan Operations System
It’s better than Calyx in some ways and worse in others ways

CONSI don’t like that I have to constantly clear my cache while working in Lending Pad in order to save data, then it shuts down and I have to log back in. I wish they would fix that. My processor has the same problem

However, because it stores all this information to make sure your browsing is up to speed, it also means it does occasionally need to be cleared to make sure if there are any changes to the downloaded information it does not cause a glitch. Good company
Overall a good experience.
PROSLike the support when in a loan the most, usually a quick response in the chat box. Visually a much easier look then the old system.
CONSNot being able to have a directory to call when help is needed for our Admin - have to go thru same support email that the LO's do - wish there was a "bat phone" just for management. Also, originally was sold on the 3rd party company that would copy pipelines from old system to Lending Pad - that did NOT go well, company went dark with us then tripled pricing.

Point was old and outdated - customer service was absolutely horrible and our IT guys struggled working with them since they were hard to get a hold of a live body

Much more efficient than most LOS
Great experience compare to other systems I've used such as Encompass, Calyx, Byte, and Loan Soft
PROSIts quick to save a file and I can work on multiple tabs/files at the same time
CONSSome critical data is hard to find at first, but once you know where they are, the flow is easy

Great Platform
LendingPad is easy to use, the customer service is quick and very knowledgeable
CONSI have not used other platforms so I can't say that I don't like something because I'm happy with the service.
