Helpful software for coaches

Very positive overall

All in one software including client portal, invoices and billing with integration to payment account, client record storage, HIPAA compliant, included easy to use app, telehealth feature, e-sign ability excellent help / support with webinars

CONS

Certain features not available unless on certain plan, cannot directly upload a document to be esigned as need to recreate it in software

Wonderful program with a ton of features

Overall it was a decent experience. There were a few bugs that were annoying but the features offered outweighed the annoyance. When they recently raised the prices, for me it wasn't worth the cost anymore.

PROS

I loved the fact that everything was extremely customizable from the SOAP notes, to the reminder emails to the menus in the patient portal. Sharing info with patients was amazing as you could share files in the documents section of the patient portal or share certain parts of the SOAP note (HUGE plus that you don't have to share the entire SOAP note). Patient chat feature is very nice.

CONS

I am not a fan of the pricing structure and wish it was based more on patient visits as opposed to patients in the clinic. This simply made it too pricey since I have a lot of patients in my system but don't see them often. The program is very feature-rich but for someone who doesn't use all of the features, I felt like I was simply paying too much when they raised the prices quite considerably.

At the time it was much more affordable than other products. This has since changed as they have raised their prices quite considerably.

I would give PB a 3/5 in terms of my overall experience. I like the interface for the practitioner facing, but I've had many complaints from clients about the technical difficulties that they face. In the past 4 days, I've had to reschedule 2 patients, which is >$350 worth. This has put me at great unease during my busy days, where I may have 10 patients (~$1000 income), which could be jeopardized.

PROS

Works well for patient records and chat functioning. - labs function is great to share info with practitioners

CONS

lack of reliability for video calls- frequent issues with video calls not working- troubleshooting/tech support is not very good, they say the same thing over and over again and the issue is not resolved.

Can’t run my business without it!

Very positive. It never glitches, and I’ve I need any help the support team are fast and efficient. This gives me great peace of mind.

PROS

The automations, the saved templates, online billing and payment plans, text message appointment reminders, the client app.. it’s honestly like having an admin team doing all the time consuming tasks for you!

CONS

Not so much a ‘dislike’ but I think there could be aesthetic improvements on programmes, specifically design and layout. I would also like to have multiple windows open at once (view protocol and type session notes at the same time)

Practice Better is well worth the money... can't recommend enough!

Practice Better is top-notch because this software does SO many things to make an entrepreneur's life easier. It's user-friendly and provides numerous automations that help streamline my business.

I do wish it was easier to process billing and insurance submissions.

Very happy with Practice Better

Overall, this program helps with keeping information in one place, monitoring diet needs, adding protocol recommendations, billing, chat options, and much more...all in one place. Since I am the only user, help is a click away. This is important to me.

PROS

The Better program has many useable features that I need to keep me on track. I can keep notes, updates and add what I need to when I need to for each client. I most like that there's help immediately when I get stumped. I also like the seminars to learn about more features and to make it all work even better.

CONS

I need more assistance with setting up to use all features. I don't think I'm using everything to it's fullest. The invoicing part needs to allow editing (adding or editing original posts).

Organize your practice and free your time for practicing

I have solved the problem of too many platforms to manage my business. A scheduling platform. A content storage platform. A client records platform. A video conferencing platform. A collaboration platform. It all in one place now at my fingertips. Brilliant!

PROS

This software is intuitive. Their support is unparalleled. Their training support is excellent. They give webinars and have YouTube videos for every aspect of suing the product. My clients have found it easy to use too.

CONS

There is nothing I don't like about Practice Better and if I see a function that needs to be added I simply let support know and they either show me a better way or add a new function.

Amazing All in one EHR for dietitians, nutritionists and coaches

Immediate quick response for help and support. Coninuously upgrading. The software has grown immensely to support dietitians and nutritionists with their private practice.

Inability to add recipes for my clients to make it easier for them to track. So that they can choose from a dropdpwn of curated recipes. Inability to create meal plans within the software.

Practice Better is GREAT!

Honestly, it's been great. They offer a ton of support through webinars, Facebook group, and help, but it's very simple to use.

PROS

Practice Better is great if you want a software that is customizable and allows you to both run one-on-one and group programs. You can customize it with your brand colors and logos -- making it look unique, and it has a variety of features that make running a private practice very simple. Also, love that you can legit customize the notes, your offerings, protocols, etc.

CONS

Wish it would automatically add sessions to my clients who are on repeat packages.

Love this software! It like having an administrative assistant

Great product, excellent customer service. The Practice Better team is engaged and always improving the quality of services they offer. I am so grateful for the phone call trainings and customer service. I couldn’t have grown as fast as I did without Practice Better!!

PROS

Starting a new business on my own was scary and this software helped keep me organized and engaged with clients. I was able to schedule my day to focus on both administrative responsibilities and not neglect my clients. The training is incredible and free. They called me on time every time, and walked me through the software.

CONS

The biggest disappointment for me was the lack of scale for package offerings. To jump from $25 a month to $60 is a huge stress. I would love a $40, 150 client option.

Of the products available, this is the best

It does the job, but I wish I felt more confident in how to utilize it, I wish it were more intuitive to navigate.

PROS

I think just having something like this in general is a necessity in the virtual world, so I like that this is an option. I also like the integrations it has, including to Fullscript and Google Calendar.

CONS

I feel like it is not always intuitive to navigate, I do not feel confident that I am using it to its fullest function, and I often have to have multiple tabs open because I want to be utilizing certain features all at once and it is difficult to navigate back and forth between these features without just opening another tab.

Love LOVE love the customer support.

I have used this product since it's launch. I have been impressed with the software and the changes the team has made as we the users have made requests. It is always evolving and improving. My clients like the ease of a one stop shop hub for all their information (billing, appts.,protocols, etc.)

It's so nicely tailored to LEAP dietitians.

I do appreciate that the company is continually improving the clinician user experience, making information and functions more visible and streamlined.

The hardest part is not having a human to talk to when we can't get answers to questions via the help feature.

Easy to navigate telehealth platform

Scheduling clients is easy and managing invoices has been very straightforward. Very user-friendly platform for both team members and clients

Would be great if the "tasks" feature was more visible on a client's profile, I find I sometimes miss this as it is off to the right side.

All in one place

PROS

The platform has everything I need to run my nutrition counseling practice online. It’s all in one place, tons of automations and integrations with my marketing platform, supplement dispensary etc.

CONS

I’m pretty tech savvy so it was easy for me to transition. It offers a lot of functionality and it might seem overwhelming at first. But they provide amazing support and with time and patience I have it exactly the way I want it.

Reasonably priced Easy Patient Engagement and Record Management and Billing

PB helped me have a PIEDA compliant way to run my sessions and an ease of appointment scheduling and billing. Great benefit for end of year with taxes as well to get summaries.

One of the best tools for my coaching practice!

I am very happy with Practice Better and it is my go-to tool for onboarding and working with individual and group clients.

PROS

It is easy to use and includes a lot of features

CONS

I wish I could have complete control over the journal feature to make changes that are applicable to my practice (ie nothing to do with tracking but prompts)

This organizes my life!

Love that PB saves me so much time with billing and in searching for documents related to clients. I also love that it connects to various platforms like Cronometer and Fullscript.

PROS

I like best that everything is in one place with client records, notes, my schedule etc.

CONS

Multiple clicks to get where you're going. Setting up scheduling/availability functions not super intuitive.

Easy to use for me and my patients

Without PB I simply would not have a CLUE on how to conduct my business

It was so easy to set up and a business newbie

There are some features that a bit comlicated to use and some features are only available to more expensie packages, which are quite expensive.

Very recommended for all healthcare professionals

PROS

I like that I can find all the needed services for my health coaching business (meeting scheduling, billing, client data storage, file sharing, chat function, course creation, etc.) in one place, and there is no need to use different software. Many things can be automatized in PracticeBetter as well, reducing manual work.

CONS

There is nothing I like the least......

Nice App that is very easy to set up!

Overall I am very happy with this app and have not had any issues using it. Set up was also VERY easy which is a HUGE bonus when setting up for kids to use.

PROS

We learned about Better Practice through a medical professional who uses it to manage his patience. Downloading the app was easy and getting started was a snap! I would refer this app to anyone looking to manage clients with ease. 3 family members use this app with ease including my 14-year-old son so always nice to see an app made easy for kids to use..

CONS

I would like to see an update allowing the user to send a response to a requested meeting before accepting, canceling or rescheduling the request. I may have overlooked this as a feature but I tend to just cancel and then add a comment. Would be better if I could start a conversation regarding the request before making a choice.
