Patient Billing is super quick and easy!!

PROS

Patient billing is quick, easy and I find the software to be very intuitive. The patient payment portal feature has allowed patients to make payments online as soon as their invoice received therefore reducing our self pay outstanding invoices.

CONS

There are no features that I like least about this software.

Excellent all-round product and a pleasure to use

Very easy to work with. Responsive and helpful. Migration (from DGL) was excellent. Issues were corrected very quickly and communication was top notch.

PROS

MediOffice is very well designed. It is quick and easy to access all the aspects of the patient record that you require from one place. The task management system means things do not get forgotten and it is very helpful for communication between team members while maintaining an audit trail. All patient and third party communcation features that you would need and expect are present, as is integrated payments via stripe and healthcode invoicing. Excellent customer support. Responsive designers who regularly add new features.

CONS

Voice regcognition transcription costs only £5 per month so very cheap and will save you a fortune, but is not a didicated medical algorithm and none of the various dictation processes are ideal, though you will likely fine one that will work for you.

Reasons for switching to MediOffice

I have always hated DGL. It is an outdated product which has not changed in the 15 years I have used it and they are not interested in updating the product or helping their cutomers.

MediOffice Review

Overall we have had an excellent experience with MediOffice from initial contact, learning about the product, making the transfer and getting all set up. The support team were really excellent in making the transfer as smooth as possible. All staff are quick to respond to all queries. They are willing to take on board suggestions for making the software work better for our business and pro-active in making changes and improvements.

PROS

The MediOffice system is clear to view and easy to use by both administrators and consultants. It has streamlined our business and integration with our existing business processes was problem free.

CONS

The dictation interface could be improved to make dictating and transcription easier. Ideally we would like to be able to connect a pedal to the system to make manipulation of the dictations easier from a transcribers viewpoint.

Reason for choosing MediOffice

It is easier to use, has a mobile app (although this is quite basic at the current time), allows for dictation and transcription, costs less, better tech support.

My favourite Practice Management software!

Amazing, makes my job so much easier than when using other systems. I wish this was the standard across the industry!

PROS

The best thing about MediOffice, which feeds into everything, is how easy to navigate and use it is. Buttons and links are in intuitive places, the UI is clean and simple, but still pleasant. Feels very modern, runs quickly and no complaints when using it.

CONS

If I had to nit-pick, the only thing to mention is that there's no way to tell if a consultant is linked to HealthCode or not. When swapping between consultants frequently, this can cause some confusion as some use it and some don't. But no other Practice Manager tells me either, and with and with updates each month or more I'm sure MediOffice will soon have this feature. Butt otherwise this is the best by far and I would choose no other above it.

Much more modern, easy to use and update, basically better in every way.

Transformed the way we work

From the moment we moved over the practice to MediOffice the support team were so helpful and patient I might add! Having used a previous system for 24 years it was quite a learning curve changing software but two months on we haven't looked back. The team are incredible too at listening to suggestions for improving or tweaking the software and take onboard any suggestions/ideas. Definitely moved our very busy practice forward and did the right thing switching.

PROS

The diary is amazing. Super that you can open the diary and access everything you need from the detailed drop down box. Booking an appointment/changing an appointment and creating the confirmation letters to patients are a breeze now. Typing up clinics are so much faster now. The consultant dictates within MediOffice. I can check the clinic letters, save a draft, or save a send at the click of a button to both GP and patient or another specialist.Invoicing through to Healthcode so much easier and quickerUploading documents/photographs into MediOffice a breezeBrilliant idea with the Task tab. Love it :)

CONS

Getting used to working with Excel and reports for outstanding invoices, etcSome patients find the patient portal difficult to access/use, however MediOffice have covered that situation with being able to "turn off" patient portal for individual patients.

Fantastic IT support!

Medioffice has reduced the amount of time spent on inputting data as it is so much more streamline when adding and changing patients.

PROS

Moving over to medioffice as a company has been very easy, the IT/admin support has been fantastic and any questions we have had have been answered promptly and effectively.

CONS

The letter formatting features could be tweaked slightly to allow for better spacing and layout. We have found that printing straight from medioffice can sometimes leave some parts of letters out of place or cut off. We have asked for a ruler down the side to allow for better spacing as a lot of our patients still use/want paper letters sending out.

MediOffice review

We have a closed system for managing extremely sensitive information. Customer care is unrivalled.

PROS

Customer support is amazing. We like the diary, the link with TrustHealth, ease of use, look of the user interface, that we ask for functions and MediOffice say they will consider integrating them

CONS

Would be very helpful to have a medical insurance system integrated so that we know how many sessions a patient has and an automatic update of these after each session. We will then know when a patient needs to get more sessions agreed by the insurance company. We would like the patient portal to have an interactive module so patients can fill in and sign their forms in the system. We are looking forward to Xero integration.

I liked that the developers were open to making the system more personalised and that we could discuss things with them.

Great for invoicing and accounts management

It is an intuitive system which is easy to use and navigate. It is easy to filter out the information you need and provides all the information you need at a glance. Reports are straightforward to download.

PROS

It is easy to use MediOffice for invoicing as you can clearly see which invoices have been sent and which remain pending. The new "status" feature helps you see at a glance what has and hasn't been paid as well.

CONS

It is a minor inconvenience that you cannot always create shortfall letters whilst allocating a bulk payment when insurers have paid £0 towards an invoice

I have to say my experience with MediOffice has been excellent. The team have been extremely supportive and understanding and helped me with any queries I have had and very quickly. I have looked at management systems over the years and either found them very difficult to use or very expensive, but MediOffice is ticking the boxes at the moment!!

PROS

Layout and functionality is excellent. Enjoying how central everything is and the features of the waiting list and sending "tasks" to the consultants! Very helpful!

CONS

It probably was only initially when I tried to use it and needed more training, but this isn't because it is easy to use, but probably lacked a little bit of confidence from the initial set-up and my personal training notes.

Decision within our team with the consultants. Recommendation from another office and the general functionality of the product!

Transition to Medi Office

Awesome!!!

PROS

We changed our system recently to medi office initially for billing purposes only. The change in how quickly our payments are now coming through is staggering and the health code software works really well. Pts like to be able to pay directly and if they phone taking card payments are a breeze We are soon to move completely to the system for all patient correspondence and are very excited to have everything in one place With costs constantly going up the savings we will see in postage and typing will be amazing

CONS

Like anything change is always daunting but the back office team have made the transition super easy

Modernisation of Private Practice Management

One of the best things about MediOffice is how easy the system is to use however if there is something that requires further help or explanation then the support team are extremely quick to respond and help.

CONS

I don't have anything negative to say about MediOffice, if there have been any features that I have found difficult to work with the support team have been fantastic in helping to change or evolve the system for the better

MediOffice for private medical practice

Very satisfied, responsive sales and support team, have not looked back since switching.

PROS

I switched from a server based EMR, to this web based version. The switch over was easy with 15 years of private patient data moved over seamlessly. The platform is intuitive and user friendly, requires less "clicking" to achieve the desired functions. It allows multiple users without having to purchase numerous licences. The Tech support is good and keen to improve the experience for users.

CONS

Works best on hardwired computer, I have not found it slightly slow on Hospital WiFi networks. Secretary would prefer a better word processor. The tech support is always willing to hear about issues and find solutions to improve.

Suggested by billing company, ability to have more users for no increase in cost, increased functionality, more modern feel

Excellent Software - Perfect for the industry

I find MediOffice easy to navigate, perfect for my needs.

PROS

Integration from previous software was seamless. Lots of extra features other systems don't have. Really easy to use. Easy to amend and adjust invoices.

CONS

There are different ways to enter notes onto the system, only needs to have 1 option in my opinion.

PPM was an outdated and tired system, no longer what I wanted

Great system and team!

Overall, we have had a great experience with MediOffice so far. We feel that the medical records are presented so clearly and it has been a gamechanger for our clinics.

PROS

Medioffice has been really easy to set up and is very intuitive. We love that it is completely adaptable to fit with your own companies needs and it has a personalised feel to it. If we have any questions, we have fantastic communication with the team who are always on hand to help out.

CONS

The timings on the diary are not super clear for us personally. However, this is already being looked into and will be updated in due course.

MediOffice - Excellent Intuitive Software

This software is an excellent, clear and simple solution for my patient recording and invoicing requirements.

PROS

I needed very little training to get up and running, using the software. When I encountered areas of the software I had not been shown, I was able to work out the next steps myself without going back to the trainer.

CONS

I can't think of any specific features I would specify for improvement with regard to the functions I use. It had all the functionality I required and was very easy to use.

Initial experiences of using Medioffice for my practice

Has helped revolutionise my practice and make it virtually fully digital!

PROS

It is the first time I have felt like I have a complete oversight of my practice both clinically and financially. Very powerful. I also feel like this is being done in a safe and secure way.

CONS

SOme of the functionality is not that intiuitive and has required calls to the help desk. However the helpdeks team are really excellent and this makes a big difference and further enhances the product!

A positive experience, I am enjoying working on MediOffice.

PROS

MediOffice is very user friendly. Invoicing and allocating is very straightforward and any errors are easy to amend. I like the facility to email patients straight from the system.

CONS

At present I don't have any dislikes, the system is still evolving and improving all the time.

MediOffice Review

PROS

Most of my work with MediOffice is regarding the addition of patient information and processing of payment reports; both of these are extremely quick and easy with MediOffice as compared to other similar software.

CONS

One of the few issues I have with MediOffice is that it is still in active development which, in truth, is more of a positive point than a negative point. Most issues that crop up are fixed or modified by the developers.

MediOffice Review

I am very happy using this system, it allows me to produce work much quicker than other systems I use.

PROS

I currently use, DGL, PPM, Midex Pro, Carebit and MediOffice and I find MediOffice the most efficient and self explanatory system to use. Its very easy on the eye and extremely straightforward to navigate between the different tabs etc. Creating reports again is much more uncomplicated as other systems and easy to produce. I would highly recommend this system.

CONS

As I have not been using the system for very long I have not found anything to date that I could say is a negative.

MediOffice Experience

I have found the system to be very effective, clear to use and intuitive to navigate. I also find that the team are very co-operative and pro-active in adding new features and enhancements to improve the user experience.

PROS

In my role I am less involved in the day to day use of the system, but I am involved with its outputs and some of the functionality. The reports are very clear and intuitive, navigating through the system is fast and clear, the cloud access is excellent and some of the other features (such as the video conferencing) set it apart.

CONS

I was concerned that MediOffice was new to market and potentially still untested but the team have encountered very few issues and I have been satisfied that this is not the case.
