All 5 stars and 2 thumbs (enthusiastically) up for Rater 8!

The app is easy, intuitive and packed full of reporting features that will answer all of your questions. Our patients actually have a lot to say and leave us tons of comments—good or bad, we're happy to hear them all. We share the comments with staff as "fan club" mail and send the negative or critical comments to the office manager for follow-up. Rater 8 is a great morale booster and also gives us an opportunity to address issues we may not have known about or understood from a patient perspective. Knowledge is power and Rater 8 does all of the heavy lifting to deliver the educational feedback we need. The Rater 8 support team is incredible! Shout out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] for all her support during our freshman year. Of course they offer guidance, answer questions, and fix any technical issues, but the coolest thing about Rater 8 is that they are interested in what the practice needs and will take a suggestion from a practice and make it a software feature for everyone. In our most recent meeting, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] gave us 45 minutes worth of new features or add-ons that had been added since our last meeting just a few short months before. The Development team is constantly fine tuning the features, dashboard, and reporting so it gets easier and easier to use Rater 8 in our busy practice the longer we have it.

PROS

Rater 8 makes it incredibly easy to get patient reviews! We all know that patients who have a frustrating experience will tell lots of people and broadcast it online quickly. Getting patients to tell us about their great experiences or even give us good feedback and perspective was so difficult. We traded our old paper process and clunky online web form for the ease Rater 8 offers. Our Google reviews are up 500% —yes, you read that right. We have not even popped the cork in celebration of a year with Rater 8 and we're already in love. It's fast, we know, but when the love is real you really just have to go with it.

CONS

We only have one reporting feature on our wish list. The support team created a work around for us to use now and told us that we may be seeing our suggestion as a new reporting feature in the very near future. We're not going to lie—this made us feel pretty special! Keep in mind, our quarterly reporting in the past was incredibly cumbersome for our team. Already, Rater 8 has made this reporting task super easy. Our wish list report will make it even easier, which is truly mind blowing!

Rater 8 offered easy integration with our patient management software and offered a comprehensive dashboard that should be complicated but is actually super easy to use and very intuitive. The price was reasonable and packed with value considering all of the capabilities. The team was easy to work with, answered all of our questions, and walked us through the entire process in a very organized way.

Great product and Easy to use

We have had nothing but a great experience and I am glad we decided to move forward with Rater8 vs the other guys

PROS

It was easy to understand the product and simple to implement. The dashboards are easy to understand and customize. Since we moved to Rater8 2 years ago we have been able to implement a better SEO program and solidify our review structure with Google etc. The ongoing support is prompt, easy to work with and understand and is impeccable at getting back very quickly. All other IT companies should model their support after Rater8

CONS

The download process is a bit tricky but part of that is due to our EMR system.

Cost was a small part of it. Ease of us and support as well as the account manager was a huge part.

Like having an inside track on Reputation Management

Hands down best vendor to work with on any application.

PROS

They are constantly upgrading/improving the platform, which many companies do. But they go the extra step of monitoring your data, meeting with you on a regularly scheduled basis to make suggestions to improve outcomes in various areas. I am always amazed at how well they know our results across multiple survey sites. I have never once felt I was steered in the wrong direction by their recommendations.

CONS

Honestly it would take me all day to try to think of something.

Survey Vitals filled an obligation to look for patient feedback, but did nothing for reputation management.

In just our first month, we obtained more reviews than had been obtained over the past 2 years combined. This has had a positive impact on the visibility of our listings, which has converted new patients

Super easy integration, friendly and helpful onboarding and customer experience staff, and knowledgeable guidance on recommendations for our reputation management strategy.

CONS

Integration with our EMR to automate review requests would result in additional cost -- unavoidable, but also not a huge deal as the more hands-on approach allows me to be in the dashboard every day and keeping tabs on how we're doing.

Reasons for switching to rater8

Previous services we used were a package deal with a marketing company that we no longer use. Even then, the parts that were included were not as robust as rater8's offerings, and any comparable services were significantly more costly and did not appear as user-friendly.

rater8 is great!

Since I joined my team in January, my experience with rater8 has been incredible and our Account Manager, Madison, has been beyond helpful. Not only did she help me learn the platform quickly and walk me through plenty of tips and tricks to find and analyze our reviews easier, she's been a great listener and applies my ideas during our strategic meetings. Thank you!

CONS

I wish rater8 had an way to capture patient-reported clinical results. Sure, we know our patients are "happy" patients, but how are they ~healing~ in comparison to patients throughout the nation? Are our clinical results reflective of how we value quality care for each patient? Things like improvement after operation, consistency and coordination of care, recovery rates (i.e. back to sport release dates), etc.

In a single word

Significant uptick in Google reviews for the company. Dashboard is easy to use. Lots of actionable data provided. Shout out to [sensitive content hidden]; they are awesome.

Responsiveness. Once you're on board with Rater8, they make sure ANY and ALL questions are answered, and you don't have to wait long for an answer to arrive. They are all over it. These are intelligent, highly motivated people who provide the kind of service to their customers that could and should be a model for any industry.

CONS

Good question, but we like everything about the team from Rater8 and what they provide our business.

in years past we might only get 3-5 reviews per year. Now with rater8 we have a process to send out to customers and have received 25-45 per month.

PROS

Rater8 has a platform that is easy to use. It is easy to upload customer lists and can be integrated into EHR software.

Medical Group using this product for just over a year

Stellar customer service. Not just knowledgeable in their field, but in mine as well and have helped me flush out marketing ideas.

PROS

This product was easily the best marketing decision I've made in years. We knew patients looked at online reviews, and we knew we had many happy patients, but the review volume didn't align. After a quick on-boarding, it only requires a few minutes a week to keep running. Most of my providers, and my practice locations, went from single-digit variable-star reviews to several hundred reviews with an average of 4.5-5 stars across multiple platforms, including Google. Even better, we've had many patients tell the providers that they came after seeing how many positive reviews they have.

CONS

Like much software, it is what you make it. Any limitations are usually due to the time I put in. If I wanted to spend a hour or two a week analyzing reviews and implementing what I learned, that's an option. I'd say the biggest limitation is that I don't use it to it's full extent. But that's also my favorite part. We got our online reputation management totally handled fast, easy, honestly, and successfully.

Rater8 demonstrated their product to us at a national meeting. We brought them in to review with medical staff. All felt the ability to customize and succinctly ask our patients pertinent information was the selling point. We were right to select Rater8 as our percent of patients responding helps us to focus on areas of improvement as well as on showcase those individuals and areas which are our "stars".

Great product!

PROS

We have been with rater8 since 2018 and they have substantially helped with our reputation management. The dashboard is easy to use, with constant feature updates that make managing it easy . They also do quarterly update meetings and provide their recommendations which takes the load off the administrator. This is one of my few vendors that I never need to worry about, and they are dedicated to making our practice look good!

Great value, great results, great support

We had a couple online listings below 4 stars which is what led us to Rater8. After reviewing the platform and rates we began using their service. After almost 2 years we're still happy with what they provide to us and are very pleased with the improvement of our online reputation.

Exceeded Expectations!!

Engaging rater8 was one of the best decisions our practice made. Excellent experience. The results are amazing. Not only did we significantly increase the number of patient reviews but our individual physician and overall clinic scores jumped dramatically. Both the Rater8 team and their software far exceeded my expectations.

One of the Best Decisions of 2021

Signing on with rater8 was hands down one of the best decisions our practice made in 2021. Excellent experience. The software completely changed our online footprint and did so in a very short amount of time with limited headache. The team is top notch. This company should continue to grow based on the quality of their software, their dev team and their supporting staff.

Rater8 has been a wonderful tool in our practice

We mostly negative reviews, we weren't pushing online reviews and while we didn't have a lot what we had was not good. Once we added Rater8, they helped push our online reviews. We now have a lot more on line and those negative reviews have been overwhelmed by our positive ones. We aren't going to please everyone but it sure looks so much better. I feel I have a much better hand on the feel of our practice, patients are honest and will tell you when they don't like something and they do like things. I am able to see all comments and know when I have a problem at one of our clinics pretty quickly. It's also a great tool for meetings with departments in our clinic - the feedback is priceless!

CONS

sometimes I forget to send the file over to Rate8, I try to send a week at a time. It would be better if I sent it daily but it hard for me to do that.

We have enjoyed Rater8. The customer support and education online reputation is wonderful. We took a conservative approach to year 1 and are excited to advance a bit more in year 2.

The implementation is easy. Monitoring of the surveys and online reviews are all accessible under one login.

CONS

The hardest part about effectively using Rater8 is remember to login to the dashboard and work the reviews and provide staff feedback and training. There is no reminder to do this, it's all on you.

Great Reputation Management Company!

PROS

rater8 has met our needs from day one. Our online presence has improved immensely with the quantity & the quality of reviews we are receiving. The feedback we get allows us to continue to meet the needs of our patients & enhance our patient experience every day. The positive exposure we get online has been wonderful for our practice also. We give rater8 an A+ and look forward to continuing to work with them.

CONS

There isn't much. I guess the only thing would be more customization for questions.
