I really LOVE working with PMPRO. Is a great product and i hope they keep on keeping the good work

The great amount of features one can get with just the Free version, the great amount of codes their site offers to developers and the great possibility for customization it offers.

For starting projects or very little websites which hope to grow, the paid version is an investiment when the budget is tight. So, critical features like recurring payments are not easily accessible directly from PMPRO.

Our clients have used Paid Memberships Pro in a variety of situations and circumstances, from the small mom-and-pop who just needed a simple content subscription site, to the international organization with tens of thousands of members with differing needs, levels, and offerings. Some come to it fresh, while others migrate from another toolset. Almost none have expressed any interest in moving off of it, which demonstrates their satisfaction with the tool.

The Paid Memberships Pro toolset grew from a fairly small base with a tight set of needs to now being much more robust and ready for any enterprise. Some of the very high-end features that a large enterprise might want are not available in the core tool. But a rich ecosystem of add-ons mitigate that, along with the incredible flexibility that allows third-party developers to create anything they might need.

In general, I find myself very comfortable working with this product, especially alongside the rest of the technical team.

The fact that even in the free package it includes so many features that others charge for it.

Customization requires programming skills, it is not easy to manage automatic payments without other extensions.

Paid Memberships Pro is probably the best and most reliable Wordpress plugin I've ever used. There seems to be no limit to what you can do with this app. It fits in so well with Wordpress and runs seamlessly and fast. PMPRO is stable and reliable. The best part of the application is the support. The tech team and leadership team are accountable, patient, and helpful more than any other Wordpress development team I've ever used.

There's very little that I don't like about PMPRO. It would be interesting if they had more preset "widgets" out of the box, but if they did, the program probably wouldn't be as extensible as it is.

It has all of the membership features we need: flexible recurring subscriptions, different membership levels, access to restricted information, and custom fields. I've found it to be easy to extend and customize because it uses predictable and well-documented WordPress hooks for nearly everything. The support team has always been responsive and helpful, one of the best WordPress plugin support teams I've interacted with.

I've had a lot of pain integrating LearnDash for our training library. The plugin we've relied on is provided by LearnDash and doesn't work great - I'd love for PMPro to write their own to avoid that pain.

We used PMPro integrated in a WooCommerce site, after client ask to manage payment and automatic renewal. It was very simple to add this plugin to WooCommerce and thanks to the Snippet Library you can find everything you need to customize your site and your user's expierience.

This is not a really a con but PmPro does it's job good. And this means it could be slower then other like-it type plugin or it does running much more inside scripts then you need for your job. I can't say it's a con, depend on your need or if you work with a very large amount of data.

PMPRO has grown with us as an organization. While there are PLENTY of other options out there, PMPRO has been a partner with our organization, helping us grow as THEY grow, too.

Not every business model works with this software. But if your model does, then this is ideal.

I could have looked for a fault in this awesome plugin but that would be wickedness.

It seems to be working for my PayPal and stripe so far and setting those up was really easy as well, for PayPal you just type in your email! The only thing I haven't figured out is if I can add a photo to one of their auto-generated pages.

I took a course to learn how to set it up, but once to activate the plugin, it's mostly self explanatory if you just explore around the different links it provides. It's easy to get your pages set up- they will auto generate them with 1 click. And it's really easy to restrict content but just choosing who you want to see it under the advanced tab for each item on your page.

So far I haven't found anything I don't like, it's free to set up and then you don't need to pay unless you want extra features later.

Paid Memberships Pro is the easiest-to-set-up membership and subscription plugin you can find for WordPress. There are tons of add-ons to further extend the plugin if you so need and even the free version comes with a lot of benefits. I'm yet to find a contender out there that offers maximum control, extensive customization, and very helpful documentation and support staff.

While integration into the sites we developed was easy, there was a compatibility issue with one payment add-on. If there was a way to vote for prioritization, I would have done so.
