Very happy with DonorDock for our small non-profit
We've had a very good experience and things have been working smoothly for us. During our initial ramp up, there were some issues and limitations that we surfaced, but the DonorDock team was very prompt and supportive in helpful resolve things. Very pleased with our interactions.
PROSDonorDock provides an easy-to-use product that nicely meets the needs of our small non-profit. We have just over 2,000 contacts in our database, some with email addresses and some only with U.S. mail contact info. We manage donations, email newsletters, etc. The integration with Stripe has worked seamlessly. We like the fact that this is an active project with improvements and new features continuing to be added. We also have had very good luck with their Support. Prompt and helpful. The reporting features also provide a lot of flexibility and work well.
CONSThe features for creating various communications, whether email or .pdf, can be fairly limited and simplistic. Better than some, but certainly that's not a core strength of DonorDock. And there seem to be some database fields that we don't have access to or are not visible in a data dump. But in general, these are rather minor things that don't overshadow the many positives.

Donor Tools had become very dated and we desired some newer features and a product that was more actively supported. The newer version of Donor Tools was very limited and didn't meet our needs.

Simplest Donor Management Tool
It's so much easier to use than any other donor management system I've tried. It's also the cheapest. The team is super friendly too, so anytime we have questions, you're taken care of immediately.
PROSEverything is very intuitive to figure out, so I don't have to spend any time training how to do something new. It's simple, easy, and includes a newsletter option so I could get rid of that additional expense.
CONSHonestly, nothing. They are the greatest to work with so if you ever come across a functionality you wish it had, you simply need to let them know and they make it happen.

DonorDock for Small Nonprofit
DonorDock is regularly evaluating its platform and making updates, to include engaging user feedback. Customer service is quick, responsive and helpful.Data is a powerful tool and a tool that small nonprofits deserve to have too and not at outrageous costs. DonorDock has provided us a centralized platform for collecting, organizing, and analyzing crucial data. By capturing and analyzing data on donors, fundraising campaigns, and program outcomes, we are gaining more insights into our fundraising efforts. This data-driven approach enables us to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.We finally feel like we are actually in the game to manage fundraising goals rather than trying to understand dozens of spreadsheets that don't talk to each other in ways that we really needed!
PROSImplementing DonorDock for us was a game-changer. DonorDock offers a multitude of benefits that streamline operations, enhance fundraising efforts, and foster stronger relationships with donors. By leveraging the power of a CRM, we have optimized our efficiency, increased our impact, and are achieving long-term sustainability in the work that we do.
CONSThe only thing that we have found that we are missing is a way to connect events to DonorDock, such as a way to sell tickets for fundraisers and track them through DonorDock vs. setting up a separate process for this and having to input data into the system for each ticket sold.

It had everything we needed. DonorDock didn't try to sell us on things we didn't need, especially being a small nonprofit, some functionality just doesn't make sense for us to have. DonorDock's costs were reasonable and the customer service has been great along the entire process. We didn't feel like we were getting a sales-pitch or pushed into using DonorDock which was much appreciated during the process.

We love DonorDock!
We love how easy it is to use the software. Other software systems we've used have taken days if not weeks to know how to do the most basic things and DonorDock was so easy to navigate. We are able to tailor our communications to our donors with the help of our marketing team and it looks just like we sent the email individually. The online giving pages are easy to set up and modify as needed.
CONSThere are some aspects of the software that I wish it had. For example: it would be nice to have a way to toggle between a primary address and a secondary address so we aren't having to manually manipulate a mailing list when some of our donors are down south for the winter; it would be nice to have the ability to run a report of total giving by year to be compared to other years, right now we pull a list for each year separately, merge them together and then make it all coherent it's very cumbersome.

The company that hosted the Dynamics system decided to not put anymore investment into keeping the software current and we needed something that was more user friendly.

A breath of fresh air
Overall the experience with DonorDock has been great. This mostly comes from the fact that they have the best service out there. Anytime we need to figure something out, they are there.
PROSDonorDock really is different from all our donor CRM tools. Not only is their interface very intuitive and doesn't need excess training, but they are consistently making great improvements (using feedback from the community), and their service level is unmatched. Ultimately, it does everything we need it to in a simple solution for a great price. I have encouraged many to make the switch.
CONSDonorDock does have limitations on customization. Everything that we need from the tool is there, but if you get very granular with your donor information points, there may be missing areas. You can add different custom options to support these needs, but it may become excessive if you do it a lot. I would also like better automated workflows, but I have accomplished what I need by using third-party-linked solutions.

The cost, lack of service from eTapestry, and complete different usability of the two products made it an easy choice.

Great product, great company, and great customer service!
PROSDonor Dock is a simple but elegant solution to nonprofits' fundraising and development needs across three main functions, CRM, Engagement/Donor Outreach, and donation platform and it's an excellent product in each category.
CONSHonestly, nothing. Excellent product at a great price point.

Exactly what we needed
Nothing but good things. Glad we ran to this
PROSPricing is based on real world non-profit management. Not like the others that would have been more expensive as we grow or donor based.
CONSA few features are not there yet but I fully believe this is the best solution for our needs and requirements

Robust, Cheap, and Easy
I like how much Donor Dock can do, the fact that they don't raise our price for having a big database (one price no matter how big) and that it includes email marketing, which saves us money on having a separate emailer.
CONSI wish that the integration between donor lists and marketing lists were a bit smoother. As well, I wish that I could change the assigned member for donors more easily, merge contacts more smoothly, or have contacts that have no assigned member.

DonorDock is for YOU
DonorDock is incredibly user-friendly and doesn't limit the number of donor contacts like many other systems. It's really easy to use, and they have frequent training, informational update zooms, and great customer service if you need anything. After you try DonorDock, you'll wonder what you ever did before and why it took you so long to sign up.
PROSSo user-friendly, the donor info management is next level, and the customer service is like I've never experienced anywhere.
CONSIt's hard to say cons as most of the time DonorDock is developing new ways to improve before I realize improvements need to be made.

The affordable all in one solution to Donor Engagement and Management
The most helpful thing about Donordock is how affordable it is with all of its amazing features. I was able to cancel our constant contact subscription and payment processor and streamline everything into Donordock which uses Stripe. This has saved our Non-Profit a lot of money and has offered better ways to engage with our donors than our previous CRM which didn't even recognize if we had a new donor.
CONSI dislike the profile page available to our donors. I wish Donordock had a login page for all donors, not just monthly donors, where they could have their payment information memorized, accessible to change, and contribution statements to view.

I just love the product and the support
I am simply very happy with the system. Used Balckbaud before and it was a nightmare

DonorDock is the way to go! :)
We have loved DonorDock. It is such an intuitive product, the team/customer service is top notch, and the reports we are able to run at the snap of our fingers help us track our donors.
PROSThe ease of use. The people on our team have varying levels of comfort with technology and everyone can successfully use DonorDock.
CONSI don't think there is anything I like least... It integrates with the things we need it to.

While I liked Peak, we were looking for a more intuitive option that more people from our organization could be comfortable with. We achieved that goal with DonorDock.

Donor Dock Fits our Non-Profit Perfectly
We utilize DonorDock daily to manage multiple aspects of our organization. We track participant information including registration, program participation and correspondence. We also track our donors and sponsor's information along with their donations, correspondence, giving receipts, and contribution statements. The ease of having all the information in one place and having the ability to sort, categorize, badge and run multiple reports allows us to analyze a lot of information easily.
CONSI think it would be helpful to be able to customize the fields in the contacts information. It is a lengthy form that we don't utilize as an organization well.

Donor Dock
Donor Dock has helped our small non-profit streamline our Thank You letters to donors and track our donations in an easy way. We are able to pull up reports to see exactly how much we fundraised for a specific event.
PROSThe most impactful feature of Donor Dock is the ability to track donations and streamline Thank You letters to donors. The other feature I like about Donor Dock is the ability to see what was fundraised for different events. It streamlines the reports and really easy to use for non-profits.
CONSThe feature that would be great for Donor Dock would be to integrate it with Giving Hearts Day, if it is not already. We have it streamlined with Stripe and it is able to send automatic Thank You letters to donors, which is a huge time saver for a small non-profit. If it would be able to do that with Giving Hearts Day, that would be amazing!

We chose Donor Dock because we think it's important to support local companies. We also appreciate that they have great support and that they are always improving or adding things to Donor Dock to stay up with the times. They are a great organization that we love to support and want to see them grow.

We have not used it that long but we are extremely happy!
PROSIt is very easy to use and the customer service response to questions is INCREDIBLY quick. I am so thankful for that! It is great to use for tracking donations and managing donor relationships.
CONSThe biggest improvement that could be made is related to the receipting process and having more power of editing things, etc.

Easy to use and import data
Intuitive user interface. We like that pricing isn't tiered based on number of contacts. Most other solutions have a steep price increase that discourages growing contacts.
CONSThe need to use Zapier for integrations with other systems (which has a separate cost) is the only downside.

We considered multiple other CRM solutions. DonorDock was the only one that did not have a steep price increase when the number of contacts hit a threshold (usually from 1,000 to 2,500). As a smaller nonprofit that's focused on growing our contacts and supporters, it's really important for us to control costs as we grow.
Reasons for switching to DonorDock
DonorDock consolidates all contacts into one place and also has great features like dashboards and reporting as well as automated reminders to reach out to contacts.

DonorDock was exactly what my small nonprofit foundation needed. It checked all the boxes - and most importantly, it was affordable!

CONSThere isn’t anything I don’t like. They request suggestions and ideas for improvement. They adopted a suggestion of mine within the first few months I was using it!

DonorDock was so much easier to purchase than other products and the price point made it affordable for a small nonprofit to utilize.
PROSWe love the ease of use of the software, but most importantly is the help that [sensitive content hidden] gave us to get started with our database. She was the best Solution Engineer because she not only understands the complexity of functionality, but she can easily convey this information to us in a way that we understand. She is a delight to work with and we couldn't have been happier that she has been so responsive with us.
CONSNothing at this time. We are just starting to use the product after importing our data.

DonorDock is a great tool for any nonprofit!
DonorDock really cares about their product and their users. They really are the best in the donor software business. You will not regret choosing them!
PROSIt is easy to use and the DonorDock team takes feedback from nonprofits so all of it's features are useful and tailored to meet specific needs. It is a great software because the team at DonorDock puts in the extra effort to constantly be updating and streamlining features. They really listen to their consumers and I believe that DonorDock will only continue to improve and make my job easier.

Easy tool for non-profits
It's a great tool for our non-profit. Our accountant and marketing person find it very easy to work with.
PROSIt's very easy to use. We use it to enter and track gifts and to send out weekly e-mail and monthly newsletters. It's easy to pull lists and run reports.
CONSI haven't come across any downfalls while using DonorDock.
