Our old online system to collect donations was not going to work with our new website so we are very happy to have found a product in GiveWP that is cost effective and solves all our needs.

As a non-profit organization, keeping costs low is extremely important to us and the cost of this product is definitely worth the features we get. They also have a stellar customer service team that helped us solve a critical issue by writing us custom code for our website so the emails we received after a donation captured information no traditionally sent to the payment processor.

The feature we mentioned above that needed custom code should be a standard feature of the product.

It's not always easy for someone as inexperienced as me to manage the app.

My experience has been mixed. Support is at times very prompt with replies in a day or two, and other times I've waited weeks for someone to take a support case seriously. Most recently, support helped solve an issue using code snippets as a workaround for the Salesforce integration not working well.

Give WP has a wide range of features, many that can be setup and used quickly.

Integrations with other services have been not worked as advertised. Integrations between GiveWP and Salesforce has been surprisingly difficult, compared to other donor platforms, and alternatives like Zapier have also fallen short because of integration support and data race issues.

It looks very nice and it is nice to be able to tailer it

We have had and still have serious problems using it in different languages in combination with wpml and stripe. It has costed me 8000 euro in extra hours for the development team, a lot of money for a startup animal charity. The developers really struggle, lost motivation and we still have not even translated the p2p forms.bit has been a nightmare to be honest. Also because I bought it for the p2p forms, but then it turned out that they were not available in different languages until 6 months later. We still have a lot of difficulties.

Great. The team behind the plugin is competent and quick to respond to questions/issues. The product is excellent and well thought out. It does take some work to dig in and become an expert to use it. Thankfully, their support enables this.

What I appreciate most about GiveWP is its Wordpress exclusivity. While that may deter some, I find that a dedicated solution for the platform and a competent team behind the integration and execution of the technology has been vital to the success and reproducibility of my organization's donor experience.

Customization is tough. GiveWP takes a "defensive" approach to manipulating its forms. This makes sense to protect the functionality, but adds some complexity when trying to manipulate the look and feel to match org branding.

Dealing with customer support is very good, and root out all the issues you have with GiveWP in your theme setup.

The ease of use of installing, setting up and excellent documentation online. Customer support is bar none brilliant and they get to the source of your issues quickly and efficiently. Customer support also provide videos to show how to sort your issues out if you come across a theme/GiveWP setup issue.

Nothing to be honest so far, will come across this in the future if anything comes up.

Some issues importing data for the first time into system

Excellent. I have an agency license and they have been very accommodating in allowing me to add extra licenses to it (the maximum is supposed to be 5). It is also the only product of its kind that works with a South African payment gateway. We have also used it with Paypal.

The plugin works well for online donations, but the Peer2Peer offering has a few issues. Regardless, there is always someone to help, promptly and effectively. Their support really is topnotch. Have never had better service from anyone.

The new form builder which is supposed to be amazing but actually requires knowledge of custom css and php to make it work. Big fail!

Overall the product has been ok and service very good.

The free version is better than most other free donation software. Support is very good.

When upgrading to paid version we found it did not give us report detail or year end receipt tools we needed. They are responsive to upgrades and have improved features but we still may find a different lowered cost solution that better fits our needs.

A few minor issues, but easily resolved.

GiveWP is easy to get up and running, and has plenty of power features for those who need them. They have an extensive library of optional feature plugins included in the base price, so it's easy to customise based on organisational needs. There is a big upcoming upgrade (v3) that is currently in beta testing. It looks like it will be even easier to build and customise donation forms, so I'm looking forward to that release.

Some add-ons are less mature than others. We ended up building our own Gift Aid functionality using the custom fields feature rather than rely on the built-in version. Support teams are generally very helpful and responsive, but if even you discover a genuine, reproducible bug in their software, they just add it to their feedback site, where it stays unresolved in perpetuity. They only seem to proactively fix critical bugs that stop payments. There are loads of unresolved minor papercuts with the software that add up to unnecessary frustration.

GiveWP's customisable forms are a very important feature, allowing us to host unique forms for our different appeals and sell our fundraising products that give benefits to people signing up for a monthly gift.

It is sometimes difficult to tell, at a glance, when regular donations are new subscriptions or renewals. Both in Donations view and exports, payment status occasionally says "Complete" rather than "Renewal"

As a small non-profit with a tight budget, we rely on GiveWP to maximize our ability to connect with our donors, to make their giving easy and reliable, and to have trust in the software to process donations efficiently.

It is user-friendly-I learned it quickly and it is easy to make adjustments. The price is also really reasonable and the customer service is incredible. Over the last week I have asked for help and receive it almost immediately.

Give WP support is unrivaled. Patient and enduring, they stick it out to help you troubleshoot plugin conflicts or random glitches. They've been helpful and amazing along the way.

Because so much is offered, it can be intimidating at first.

It handles all reporting, collecting and analytics we need. The tech support is spot on always going above and beyond.

I don't believe they have automated yearly reports that be be sent to the user/donor side for their tax purposes however you can still do it manually

It has increased our online giving by 60% and I appreciate the quick response when I have an issue.

The plugin ticked all the boxes whilst developing a website to allow for donations to be made to a hospice. When researched what plugin to use this came very highly recommended and I'm glad we tried it.

If I was to state any cons I would say there's a lot of settings to manage but once its running you don't need to change them

I have come across glitches as I use the plugin so have been in communication quite often with tech support. I know the developers are trying to improve the increase the power of the plugin but it seems that at times it is at a cost of stability and ease of more common operations.

The support was super friendly and willing to help solve a stubborn problem I encountered.
