Getting Things Done
I've enjoyed working with GetBusy for all the reasons mentioned in this review. I've also been privileged to work with the management team, and express my comments. They have been attentive and polite; but have their own priorities (of course). That has frustrated me at times, since I know they know what needs to be fixed, But, I am confident that this app will continue to improve, and remain a loyal customer. Faith in the team, as well as the product.
PROSGetBusy fills an important gap. We are a small team - so, while Outlook is an excellent way to assign and stay on top of projects, it is too expensive, resource intensive, and cumbersome. GetBusy makes creating, assigning, and following up on tasks easy. Why isn't this functionality already part of our primary office apps - such as G Suite?
CONSGetBusy's biggest flaw is monitoring and drilling down on tasks. It is not inherently designed to be used in an organization; rather, it is geared toward the single user without regard for organization or monitoring of progress. So, while I can easily assign a series of tasks; there is no way for me to tell if the task is incomplete, partially complete, etc. The UI (user interface) is also not clear enough and requires too much drilling down and to many steps to make changes. But in the most basic sense, it does what it promises - keeps track of you tasks.

Simple, easy-to-use and effective
GetBusy allows us to easily manage our workload and allocate tasks within the team without needing to send lots of emails. It helps us to understand what each others' priorities are and see when tasks have been completed without needing to chase.
PROSI like how easy it is to organise your to-do list and to pause anything that doesn't need to be actioned that day. I often tell my team to "put things in a box and don't open it until you need to" and that's essentially what the pause functionality allows you to do - forget about something until it's time to do it (whilst being confident that actually nothing has been forgotten)!
CONSThe email notifications can get a little annoying, as there's no way to turn them off except if you're logged into the desktop app (for example, I came back from two weeks' holiday to a barrage of emails as I hadn't been logged in on my laptop whilst away).

I wanted something simpler that was quick to use and really user friendly.

Grange Farm
I have been looking for quite a while now for a piece of software that is easy for my staff to complete tasks and also manage their time more efficiently. I trialed a few other companies but none of them had the simple and fresh look like the GetBusy software. All of my staff and committees have embraced the software and i can see already the effects it has had on the working week.
PROSMy staff and I like the ease of use and interface. It is very simple to update a task, especially via a smart phone.
CONSWe are using the software to also cover some of our H&S work and some of the features don't quite suit this. However some of the recent updates have helped and with the great customer service i receive, i am able to suggest changes that would further suit the need.

Fast track your productivity
GetBusy helping us getting more organised and boosting productivity while having fun with team and even customers. It’s so easy to add new tasks to our to do list by just using integration with zapier and other apps. In addition customer responses to enquiries is really fast.
PROSCatch up is amazing. You will no longer miss those things that matter the most. The tags enable you to regroup projects and tasks effectively. The ability to set recurring tasks that are then brought into catch up before the due date is also game changer.
CONSIntegration with zapier and customer gmail account doesn’t work smoothly but this is not GetBusy’s fault

Good for tackling my daily tasks
Does what I need it to do well. It's stripped back functionality means it's easy to onboard and less confusing to use than other more functionality rich tools like Monday and Asana.
PROS- Nice to know that information and attachments you are sending are encrypted, it's safer than email - Allows me to keep on top of tasks that I need to do personally - Allows me to add my own team, as well as external parties into my tasks and delegate responsibility - I like that it automatically nudges people for answers - it saves me a lot of time now i don't need to do that manually - Love that there is an Outlook plugin so i can take emails directly into my GetBusy task list
CONS- Would like to be able to organise connections into groups - I send a lot of large files so being able to add extra capacity for sending would be great - No ability to adjust notification reminders at the moment

Wasn't using the project management features of Asana and it just became an expensive task list.

Getbusy Review 2020 Hayora Limited
As a software implementor which is highly project and task driven Getbusy allows our teams to quickly devise new tasks, allocate owners and collaborate with ease. Notifications received via email are realiable and efficient as deadlines approach and the new project features are also very useful. We never have to worry about upgrades and new features are rapidly deployed without any downtime to our teams.
PROSEase of use, functional design, reliable and simple workflow.
CONSThis could have just been network issues, but desktop installation seemed to take a little longer than I hoped.

Lifesaving!
These are all of the things it does for me: Assignment of tasks. Chasing & follow up. Monitoring projects - 'focus' enables you to see where you are at with any one client or project. Checking things have been done. To do lists and reminders. Secure communications. Grouping tasks (using tags) so that a bunch of similar tasks or ones in the same software, can be done together to save re-logging in to things. Very quickly after adopting this, I began to free up more time.
PROSIt sends reminders so I don't have to. I was spending valuable hours forwarding emails and calling people to remind them to do things. GetBusy deals with that and also enables extra comments and conversations to be recorded, the assignee can also Pause a task so I now when they plan to do it. All of this makes sure things stay in the system and do not get forgotten, without the effort of having to "manually" do it.
CONSThe recurring templates foxed me at first - they need to be used for things that are exactly the same, they go back to the template on the recurrence. Now that I know that it is all good! I was trying to use it like Apple Reminders initially. Now I have the hang of this!
Reason for choosing Workiro
Simpler and more functional and very importantly, third parties can be involved without signing up or downloading anything. This is how it came to my attention and that 'sold' it to me to start with.

Best app ever!
[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is fab she introduced me to all the features and has been on hand whenever I’ve had questions. Seriously can’t praise this enough
PROSI love how easy this app is to use. It’s become a lifesaver and has boosted my productivity level significantly by keep me accountable and means I’m not having multiple apps or bits of paper with extra details about the tasks on. Also the uncluttered design means that it’s easy to view at a glance to see what’s left to do when I’m busy. Also from an Autistic point of view I love that there’s no pop up ads and everything is straight forward. Rather than dealing with too many options and I can share what I need to with other people. This has lessened my anxiety as not getting sensory overload from a tool designed to help. I also feel like I’ve achieved something because I can see what I’ve done.
CONSCan’t find anything I dislike about this app.

A Software Solution I Actually Use!
I love it! I have a horrible habit of starting free trials and then never actually using them either because I'm too busy or it looks too complicated to get started. The communication I had from the GetBusy team when I first signed up was great, it was relevant to my needs, enough to keep me interested and trying things, but wasn't "in your face annoying never leaving you alone for two minutes." I've recommended it to a couple of clients, and have great hopes for what I can do with it in the future!
PROSGetBusy is really easy to use and the customer service is second to none. On the few occasions where I've had a question, somebody has got back to me almost instantly.
CONSAt first the simple interface confused me a little bit, it looked too basic. But actually most of the features are in the area to which the feature applies, so rather than having a cluttered up view which is constantly reminding you of other things you need to do, you can stay focussed.

Ease of use. Trello looks great but as far as I can work out it was just a list-making tool, it didn't feel flexible enough. And Asana gives me a headache every time I open it, it does too much. Also the price is good!

Rapidly becoming the centre cog to my daily routine
Scheduling and following up on tasks that have been 'actioned but waiting for a response' can sometimes slip through the net. GetBusy is great for ensuring that this doesn't happen. I particularly like the signature option, where documents can be electronically signed. The 'pause' function is great for postponing a task that is due, but retains a complete audit trail so that you can track how many times the can has been kicked down the road. It guilt-trips you into completing a task which ultimately helps your efficiency. I have only been usingit for a short while, but very pleased so far.
PROS1. The persistent but gentle reminder that something needs doing. 2. Sending documents securely 3. No hard sell during the buying process 4. Good value for the offering 5. Creating to-dos on the go via the phone app 6. Very flexible in tailoring to my specific requirements
CONSThe desktop app seems to freeze occasionally, so end up using the phone app or accessing via web browser. A few clients have found it difficult to come back to documents that have been sent via Getbusy.

I’m so pleased I’ve been introduced to Get Busy!
It’s been brilliant & has genuinely changed how prepared I feel for my day. I check my to-dos the night before and add to the list as I go through the day. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] set Kameo up with the app and she’s been on hand to answer any questions or queries we’ve had, her customer service has been excellent!
PROSIt’s so easy to use and simple to understand. I can use it anytime, anywhere which is fantastic as a busy woman on the go. The tags are a brilliant feature, they’ve helped me prioritise my day on both a professional and personal level. I like that if I have a problem there’s an actual person I can turn to for help, instead of an automated response.
CONSI would prefer to have projects that are only visible to some users, but it’s not a huge issue.

Great program
So far we are enjoying using the program and look forward to new features that the team is working on.
PROSGet Busy is easy to use. I love that there is a phone app so I can stay connected even when I am away from my computer.
CONSI would like to see reoccurring tasks function. I know this is something they are working on and can't wait for it to roll out.

Great tool for organising your day to day
I really liked Getbusy, it was simple to use and didn't glitch or bug like many new tools do.
PROSI really like how simple the tool is - it doesn't pertain to be anything it isn't, and does the things it does very well. The list feature is great, simple to use and convenient to check at a glance. I like the user interface, which is very friendly and bright, and the app as well, which works seamlessly.
CONSThere are a few limitations in the software that I discussed with the team. For example, on Todoist you can type in 'meeting at 4pm tomorrow about the designs' and it'll pick out the key terms and add the meeting to your calendar on the fly. Getbusy doesn't do this, but the team told me they are looking into it for a potential release.
