Best in remote access to connect any time and this is very easy for IT admin to jump on. Always BEST CUSTOMER SUPPORT to take owner ship.

I dislike that I can not be logged in on multiple devices.

There is NO way to speak to someone, everything is bot type chat, long hold queues and email tickets. Avoid this, you get what you pay for.

Over all I'm really happy with Atera it meets many of our needs and does almost all that we need it too. Also their support has been top notch.

I have worked with more advanced products for years, but this just works. Support is great and the community is awesome.

The worst thing I would say is probably the file size limitation when moving files via Manage > File Transfer.

The alerts is a major plus and the ability to break down certain customers to folders for locations is great. The integration with Splashtop and Teamviewer is a big deal also.

I was using a home grown solution that was clunky and I didn't really have time to build out. This has what I need, and the cost is far better then other solutions.

The reporting is a bit weak. I'm used to being able to hook into the database and generate custom reports coming from Connectwise.

It is a perfect fit for application managers who need an easy to use, affordable tool to support a large or small flock of systems and associated applications and users. Tech Support is very good.

A nice gui and a strong search engine make it easy to use. Patch management much more effective than my previous product.

I like the remote management ,bundling with Splashtop, integration with Anti-Virus and other packages. There is far more features than we use.

Patch alerting is weak; Not sure about Antivirus alerts.

It's great to have your storage in house. The piece of mind that you know where your data is at all times is important, but also, nothing beats local for speed.

Experience is overall positive as the benefits typically outweigh any difficulties. Data sovereignty and geo-fencing regulations are some of the main reasons I consider using ownCloud.

Structurized Admin Panel. Perfect for private users and companies with enough money.

Technical ability is mostly required to setup and your system and to update. Auto update is a pain and mostly pushes one to manual process.

I love owncloud, i been there almost since it born, and I'm using it now, actively participating in the community.

When first added, there were a few errors that I had to have my host sort, because I couldn't find any documentation on them for the OwnCloud.

The clients (I use Windows, Linux and Android clients) make it super easy to sync across different devices - set up once and forget about it.

None has been as easy to use and as reliable as ownCloud.

It seems management had some terrible ideas which is why all the mind-share seems to be behind nextcloud these days.

We have had ZERO issues with this software, works great and is also a perfect alternative to store documents that others need to access.

When I implemented ownCloud, it was a neat opensource platform with an active community, with the option of solid support at a fair price.

Good while still community oriented, now a dead-end product.

We used Owncloud as our backup storage of our organization documents. I liked the ease of upload, share and version control.

One had to zip it before uploading which was a little time consuming. But for single files there was no such problem.

Overall the product is good, and a number of addons provide good expanded integration and functionality.

For a free solution it is one of the best choices in the opensource world.

It is your own server so it is the best to secure by your own way.

We're very satisfied with OwnCloud considering the price we pay for it. We're not considering to move out of it in the next coming years.

Controlling your own data, while enjoying much of the benefits of the likes of dropbox or onedrive. Ability to link mobile phones and sync contacts and calendars.

The support costs of the simple ownCloud web interface with drag-drop file uploading were one-time only. Performance was good enough, support was cheap enough, and it was fine for what we used it for.

While I'm sure OC is good for Enterprise clients, our experience was that it was ONLY for enterprise.

Being an Open Source, you can find information on the network, and in this way it can be violated by knowing how it is installed and configured.

The program has a user-friendly interface that makes it simple to save, sync, and share files among many devices.

When it is set up and designed it is entirely strong and does the activity I require it to do.

Overall, we decided to leave OwnCloud in favour of NextCloud. NC has a faster development cycle and seems to listen to the community more when it comes to what they focus their efforts on.

Especially when you then have to share the items, the custom link based of our domain was a nice feature.

Past its prime and headed the wrong direction.

Good service but no other service like nextcloud.

The Website makes the design of the software look very modern, but in reality it is a bit boring.

Multi-language is supported on the web interface but is not available on the desktop client as far as I know.
