For over three decades, Realtrac has been providing job shop manufacturers a modular machine shop management tool. Realtrac offers job shop management features such as estimating to order entry, job tracking, purchasing, scheduling, estimating, materials management, job costing, and more. The system can integrated and report with QuickBooks and Sage 50 (Peachtree) accounting programs.
Realtrac offers visibility into a job's cost, status, and due date. Utilizing the software's work-in-progress screens and reports, users can pull up a job's full history and accurately evaluate costs versus estimates, profitability, and whether it will be delivered on time.
Realtrac was designed in a job shop for job shops. It is designed to be easy to deploy, and also offers a Quick Start program to get shops up and running quickly. It's recommended to metal job shops with as many as fifty employees.

The inventory module is not linked into the standard purchase system, and the vendor didn't explain this step.
You have to understand that the modules are separate (inventory), and you should purchase multiple seats.

J & L Turning, Inc has had Realtrac software in our plant for approximately 20 years. We are a manufacturing company that manufactures custom designed tools, therefore every job is different. Keeping track and researching jobs was a nightmare. Talsco has been using Realtrac for the past five years. The software is very easy to use and to learn. We currently utilize all modules available and are more than satisfied with the software. We manufacture 100's of different part numbers and without Realtrac it would be a nightmare tracking all of those jobs. Customer service is excellent! If we have a question regarding the software it is extremely easy and quick to get an answer. I would recommend Realtrac to all shops and businesses looking for a functional and easy to use MRP system.
