Dotmailer also allows users to create customized automation programs for lifecycle marketing, multichannel marketing and repeat purchase targeting.

I have worked with dotmailer for a year now. They're customer success helped me to create campaigns that improved revenue from email by 98% in 11 months. They also gave me a great discount being a nonprofit. As a marketer and not a programmer, Dotmailer has made it easy for me to create sophisticated & segmented campaigns to reach target different demographics. Any time I have a question or a problem, my customer success manager always helps me to sort it out in a timely manner.

Cons

Lacking integrations with several of the technologies I work with as a nonprofit.
Was quite a jump in price from mailchimp.

Advice to Others

May not be for everyone. Ensure that you have a sizeable contact list or many of their automated programs might not be beneficial in regards to ROI. However, if you are a lean team and in the mid-market this is the perfect solution.

It is pretty straight forward and intuitive piece of software. once you know what you are doing, it can work magic. They even provide you with training sessions every now and then

Overall its ok to use has some strong features like analytics. But it seems about five years behind the competition . the email tempalte designs are dated, the technology used to process email templates is also dated .

Terrible designs, out of dated back end. Just seems to be falling behind the competition.
