For most of our domestic, small parcel, hazardous, ltl, shipments, this software accommodates all of our needs. This software allows us many more efficiencies than our previous software. PathGuide is always updating, upgrading and building the software to be even easier to use, more tools to take advantage of.
Due to our complex method of shipping international shipments, it's often times a work around to complete the shipment on time. The work around's are often more manual than we like and can lead to easier mistakes. We are looking at our internal process for these complex shipments in the very near future and will likely turn to the PathGuide Support team on some of our findings.
Look at your internal process, automate what you can and take advantage of the tools that LMS has built to make your shipping easier and more accurate. Very user friendly.

The product has many changes and advancements. I would like specific notifications as to what has been added or will be added if we were to upgrade. Also, I would like to use the search menu using Chrome instead of Internet Explorer.
Please use the software to its fullest potential in order to make a true judgment on your evaluation of the product.

Be very thorough in your research. There are a lot of products out there, but not all of them adapt to your ERP in spite of the advertising.

Pathguide understands warehousing and distribution, so working with them is easy. They are open to work through unique operational requirements and developed solutions to meet the majority of our needs. This solution allowed us to remove a significant number of licenses from our base ERP system.
Access to their implementation team can be impacted by sales demand at other customer sites. I know they have hired to meet demand since our project started.
Spend a lot of time scoping your project and working through all requirements up front. Talk to others using the software and visit sites using it.

I like the elegance of the software design, the sheer amount of useful components within the WMS and the fantastic, creative, and attentive support team.
It would be nice if there was a simpler way to add new columns and functionality, but overall, this is a minor complaint.
Explore the options presented in the software. At the point of implementation, really try to build your process around the elegance of the software itself rather than trying to force the software to accommodate your current process.

The product has increased visibility to our multiple DC operations allowing proactive actions and minimizing mea culpa incidents after the fact. We know sooner than later if a new staff member is a keeper or should be given back to the temp agency.
We are soon to be benefitting from increased visibility being given to the rest of our company, allowing them to obtain answers to their questions from the audit trails in order processing.
Working through some of the modules requires fine tuning to meet the company's needs.
Review it thoroughly, and know your procedures thoroughly as well. Be prepared to convey your needs in a manner that is clear and concise. "Parts are parts," but apparently, distribution can be different from one company to another. Keep an open mind, and recognize opportunities to change or tweak your procedures as you understand the software's capabilities. Change is a good thing sometimes!

This company and their WMS service have enabled our warehouse to move from processing all orders on paper to utilizing a completely digital system. Their software easily keeps track of thousands of items and also integrates with our shipping system and our ERP (Business One). They really go above and beyond to accommodate any needs or integration you may require.
Only the fact that they are located a thousand miles away, preventing visits to our site. But this hasn't stopped them from providing their responsive remote support.
Keep in mind your current wireless infrastructure when shopping for WiFi-enabled warehouse management systems. We quickly escalated from a dozen or so WiFi-enabled handheld scanners to around fifty scanners, and found that we needed a more robust wireless system to accommodate them all.
