Pros:

Highly level of customisation, R&D reports are easy to tailor to a given style. Cooperative and friendly support, I have always received quick responses from their customer support and have been able to resolve arising issues. Low barrier of entry, the software is simplistic and intuitive making it very easy to pick up and use.

Cons:

The software does not handle group companies with ease and improvements could be made in this area.

Powerful tool for Research and Development claims

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] at Made.simplr has been very helpful in showing how to use the software and resolving any problems I encounter in using the software.

Pros:

The ease of use and the questionnaire that can be generated.

Cons:

There were a few initial issues in using the software but this was overcome by the help offered by [SENSITIVE CONTENT] at Made.simplr.

Reasons for switching to made.simplr

The cost was expensive and the software for Whisper was too rigid. Made.simplr is much more flexible.

A CRM with tax compliance

Pros:

Simplr leads you through the process for compiling a tax report. It's really easy to use and helps out in making sure you have everything for compliance

Cons:

I feel that there could be some more options for personalising a report, whilst it is easy to use the formatiing options are in need of updating

Overall experience is good. It has helped our production, at a fair price.

Pros:

Made Simplr walks you through the key areas nicely, and automates some of the calculations. It is a good system for keeping all of our R+D claims organised. We scaled back our R+D a lot, and the team were very responsive and proactive in reducing the price to reflect that.

Cons:

There were some issues with the automated/upload calculation sections, but I think these were teething issues a couple of years ago. The back office team were quick to correct for us.
