RR is great for syncing with a HubSpot CRM
RR support has been great. Our support person has answered all questions in a quick and timely manner and has really been able to help us make changes and understand how to use
PROSAs an admin, RR is great for managing and tracking referrals and affiliate data. I enjoy being able to keep up with all details in real-time and seeing referrals come in for our affiliates. As an affiliate, I enjoy the features RR offers when allowing me to see my referral data and all info I need to be a successful affiliate right on my dashboard as soon as I log in to the portal.
CONSAs an admin, RR is very difficult to navigate. I struggled to understand where to find settings changes, how to set up the program and save edits I made to our program, among other things. The different options RR offers are great, but I found it extremely difficult to navigate and understand as a potential first-time affiliate admin user.

Decent product, poor onboarding
Frustrating. The product is so close, but it is hard to pay for onboarding that can't help you do most of what you were told the platform can do.
PROSIt (somewhat) integrates with HubSpot and we use this as our CRM>
CONSThat nothing works as it should, or as I was told it would before we purchased it. I have waited over a month on an answer from the "support" team regarding an issue that salesperson told me the software could definitely do, but does not.

Referral Rock is the perfect plug-in-play for Affiliates
Our onboarding specialist, [sensitive content hidden], was a great guide as we quickly moved through the milestones to launch. He and the support team are very quick to respond to any question or concerns that comes up. I would highly recommend Referral Rock for any reward program you are launching.
PROSWe had a very tight timeline as our previous vendor-partner was not able to meet our needs based on our agreed upon deadline and we were able to go live with our site with CRM integrations within 2 weeks! The customization capabilities was another key factor in our decision to move forward with Referral Rock.
CONSWe have a handful of Affiliate Partners who are grandfathered in with separate terms than our current program and unfortunately there is a separate license at $75/mo for each program with different rewards so it's not economical for us to be able to use the program for all partners.
Reason for choosing Referral Rock
After 6+ mos of work, vendor could not meet launch deadlines with Zoho integration, not did they have the customization capability we needed.

They were not able to handle the CRM integrations to meet launch deadline, nor was their tool customizable.

Loved using Referral Rock, Great Integration with HubSpot
We've loved our experience with Referral Rock! The implementation team is very helpful and our specialist, [sensitive content hidden], is super responsive and willing to help. She didn't overwhelm us with emails or resources, but we always knew we could go to her with any questions. Overall, a really great experience and we definitely recommend!
PROSWe needed an easy-to-use affiliate management and payout software that integrated seamlessly with our CRM, HubSpot. We've loved our experience so far and it's been easy for our affiliates to use!
CONSBecause we are new to the system, it's sometimes hard to find the settings we're looking for within the system. Also, I wish it were possible for our affiliates to update all of their personal info in their account settings (such as email and Paypal address). Other than that, we are loving it!

We loved LeadDyno and were going to go through with it, but it didn't have a 2-way sync with HubSpot so we couldn't make it work with the way our systems are set up. Also, RR support was more timely and consistent even though LeadDyno was great too.

Needed better integration with our system, wanted a more robust system that had several tools for viewing referrals on the affiliate side and just an overall better affiliate user experience

Frictionless for the Customer!
Overall great experience. Great customer service and our account manager [sensitive content hidden] was super helpful and knows her product very well!
PROSThe best thing is how easy it is for a customer to sign up with a single click and use their dashboard link to check their stats. Our goal was to make it frictionless for the Referring member and Referral Rock certainly does that.
CONSWe had to host the landing page within Referral Rock instead of our domain for tracking purposes. This was not ideal but it was the only way to make it work with our system.
Reason for choosing Referral Rock
RR was the first company to ask about our funnel flow in the very first discovery meeting. Plus integration seemed easier and it seemed more cost effective than other platforms.

Outstanding customer service
Our overall experience has been amazing, from the moment that we indicated we were interested in the platform we have pleasantly surprised by the platform and the customer service. I have worked with many platforms with customer service centres outside of Australia and this is the best experience we have ever experienced.
PROSThe Referral Rock platform is a simple off the shelf solution for a referral program. It easily integrated into Salesforce and we were able to reskin the entire platform in our branding.
CONSUnfortunately, there was no available support in the Australian time zone which made it a challenge but hardly a con.
Reason for choosing Referral Rock
We chose referral rock as Mention Me wouldn't consider us as a client, because of our small volume. We were also considering devising our own system using salesforce and marketing cloud, but due to the short timeframes and the $$$ involved in this solution the Referral Rock platform was the best option.

Fantastic product and service!
At a lower cost than competitors, we received excellent customer service from sales to implementation and implementing the product was a breeze with all of the available customizable tools.

Glitchy but perfect for my size business
Once you get the hang of it and learn the vernacular it's pretty straightforward. And, it seems to have all the features I need without costing a fortune.
CONSWorking with the text, like font selection and size, spacing, etc. is super glitchy and I found myself finding workarounds when putting together the member and referral pages. Never did really get it to look the way I wanted it to look. And, if I indented anything it automatically inserted quotations kind of underneath the text. Everything else seems to work fine, but considering the text setup is crucial to the message it seems as though maybe some more functionality attention should be paid to that. Choosing text size is a real pain since there is no way to know exactly what size you are choosing.

Onboarding was great, just launched
Onboarding with [sensitive content hidden] was great. He was patient and ensured that we stayed on track and launched succesfully. The comparably lower price allowed us to give this a try -- a lower barrier to entry.
PROSThe team was helpful in quickly understanding our use case and helping us get everything implemented.
CONSWe understand that RR doesn't integrate with Instagram, for reasons beyond RR's control, but would be great to have a workaround for this.

PROSAutomated notifications with the ability to theme your offerings. Tremendous customer support and technical ability. Integration with Woo Commerce is very helpful.
CONSJust need more clients on it, lol Advanced training or consulting session based on your specific industry, audience, and key employee skill set would be a welcome addition. This could assist each business individually in taking their specific program to the next level.

Easy to use and incredible customer support!

PROSIt is incredibly easy to use and set up. I love how everything integrates seamlessly. It is a one stop shot to get referrals, send emails, campaign, and send rewards. That in itself makes it worth it!
CONSThe landing page and emails are a bit finnicky to create on their templates but [sensitive content hidden] with customer support was so responsive and would help with anything and everything. We do wish that direct add feature had more automated emails.
Reasons for switching to Referral Rock
We did not even get to fully start our referral factory onboarding. They launched us and we had 4 onboarding calls of us explaining the same needs and same processes. They had no communication. Referral Rock crushed it! They communicated with the sales rep and they were ready to help us get what we needed set up on call 1 of onboarding!

I'd have to say the best part of the experience is how helpful Mica, our on-boarding/brilliant rep, is. He is helpful at all hours, via phone or email, and its made all the difference.

Please add and app!
Our biggest complaint is that once a member us added there is not easy for them to add a referral. It's not like people go to the site everyday and remember the URL:, username an PW. Please add and App! Our other is that a program is difficult to build as it is difficult to see the "whole picture" without creating test member and sending test referrals...

Thanks Chris. We've thought about adding an App for the member to download. In our early testing and surveying, only 3% of people said they would download an app, so we scrapped the idea. That was 2 years ago, so it may be different now. We'll do another survey. In regards to the "whole picture" you're right, that is an active area we are looking to improve. There are many nobs and dials to turn for a effective referral program, most of our time has been spent building out these features. Once there are so many, it becomes more difficult to navigate. We are at that stage where we will be consolidating many of the pages and making it easier to "see the whole picture" Thank you for your honest feedback! It helps us get better!

Great price for what it is
We looked at referral platforms that had many more features and better integrations with our database (SalesForce) but they were in the $ range and intended for much larger enterprise clients. As a small business Referral Rock was affordable and came with the basic set of features we needed.

Simple but Efficient - just what we needed!
I stumbled upon Referral Rock a couple months ago when we decided to launch our Referral Appreciation Program. We were looking for a simple way to automate the referral process so as to make it easier for people to refer others. Before and after discovering ReferralRock I investigated a number of alternatives. Some were too expensive while others were too complicated. For us, ReferralRock was just right. It offered a simple interface, with tracking abilities as well as an option to manually add leads to a referrer. The main drawback that I have encountered is the inability to edit the contact details of a referrer or to complete delete one if necessary. I has provided this feedback and been informed that it is something that is being looked into. My experience with the customer service has been very good and the company is open to feedback from the users of its platform. I see a promising future for this software.

Referral Rockin
We're using Referral Rock to input referral customers to Hubspot and then keep track of who we owe rewards to when those referral customers move to closed won.
PROSThe software has a lot of functionality and flexibility. We're using it for a slightly different application than a typical user and we were still able to get up and running quickly and tweak things over a few weeks to the point where we're actively using the software across multiple teams. This was due in large part to our account manager Representative was always quick to respond and helpful in thinking outside the box about how we could get to the desired results.
CONSThere's a lot of functionality so things can be overwhelming at first. Having an actual person from Referral Rock to support us was imperative in getting the process rolling.

The application is very straight forward and the integration options with other services are great.
Sales and technical support are both outstanding which is extremely important when you are on a deadline to launch a program. This alone can make or break a program launch. Feature rich. Good security. Easy Zapier integration and web redirect are both very helpful.
CONSMember first names cannot be only two characters. Would like to see base package support more programs.

Great functionality and customer support
- The number of functionalities and ability to capture data a different part of the funnel - The customer service is impeccable!
CONS- Branding the pages and website while not that difficult can be further optimized - Some of the pages can be access from several routes on the software which can be confusing, it can be optimized for easier navigation

Great, affordable product!
Our business relies greatly on word of mouth referrals. We were looking for ways to leverage that and reward our partners and clients, but the manual process was too much for our small team to handle. We started looking into better ways to manage our referral programs and came across Referral Rock! We have taken all the tedious manual work out of the equation now that we are using Referral Rock. Overall, I give them a good rating for an affordable product with great customer service. Thanks Referral Rock!

Fantastic way of managing client referrals
I've been using Referral Rock for two months now and have been very impressed. Not only does it provide a turn-key solution for managing my heretofore nonexistent client referral system, but the staff go above and beyond reasonable expectations of customer support. I'm excited about the potential Referral Rock has to kick my academic success service start-up into high gear!

Possibly the best customer service I have ever recieved
Looked at tons of referral software and this was hands down the choice for us. This was the first time we had ever used a software like this and the customer support has been outstanding. Possibly the greatest customer support we have ever received as an agency.
