Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • Adobe XD provides one of the most amazing wireframing, user interface design, and prototyping solutions. It is highly responsive and supports very few of my favorite app integrations.
  • It's user friendly with plenty of nice features like the real-time preview on the app, the ability to share links is great for sharing projects with clients to gain quick and easy feedback.
  • The integration with other applications from the Adobe suite is a great help as you do not have to think about transferring assets from one app to another. It just works and is super quick/responsive.
  • Cons

  • You can only present your designs full if you are connected to the internet. There is no offline mode which is very frustrating for my clients.
  • Adobe XD should set flow link on every mode not just "Protorype mode" that make user confused and a bit upset. Hard to control when you have more than 100 pages on the same dashboard.
  • And the export only to a page where you could only see if you logged its a bad design, just makes it export an APK.

  • Pros

  • It is easy to use, very smooth and slick. The presentation how to use it makes it very clear and it is great for prototyping.
  • I like how easy the software is to use. Having the ability to automate certain interactions is very useful and saves time.
  • It looks good, keeps the version history of the screens and has a terrific comments mechanism, which allows my customers to highlight what they like about the design and what needs to be changed.
  • Cons

  • The sharing/accessibility of the mocks. It’s hard for someone notnon the design team to see their mocks unless the links were shared but this might be by design or license based.
  • It caused over 8 hours of a work day to be lost for me and my team.
  • There were a number of times where the permissions on designs were incorrect and the designers seemed to have trouble fixing them, but I don't know if that was the fault of the software or not.
