I have been a professional benefit auctioneer since 2013. Prior to the pandemic, I never touched my clients' auction software. When asked, I recommended software based on the feedback of my clients. During the pandemics my clients were short handed and we explored new formats for fundraising galas. I chose to dig in and see how the different softwares worked and to see where I could be of assistance. I quickly realized that Auctria was the most value driven platform that delivered on all levels. I was amazed that it was the lowest priced solution I had been recommending yet it was the most robust platform out there! Today, I am an Auctria admin in most of my clients Auctria accounts. I have had hands-on experience in hundreds of Auctria supported events. From COVID days of a hybrid event, to having an online auction, and more, we've always been served very well by the platform. Like I mentioned before, their support team is GREAT too. Auctria allows us to manage all of our event-related needs for our annual gala - from website to ticketing to auction procurement - in one place, which makes our lives much easier. #### Cons I wish that Auctria connected to Salesforce NPSP! Auctria helped us sell tickets, promote our event, manage sponsorships, run our live auction, paddle raise, and onsite sales seamlessly from start to finish. The entire process gave our event a polished and professional look and feel for our guests. One of the biggest highlights of our experience was working with [sensitive content hidden]. From the day we signed up for the Launch Diamond level, her personal service, training, quick email responses, and attention to detail were absolutely priceless. She consistently caught potential issues before I even realized they could become a problem and always had thoughtful recommendations to help make our event successful. She answered all my questions with a very quick turnaround. I also liked the professional look of the event website and easy to use for our guests. We also really liked the resources Auctria provided from cheat sheets, paddle raise recording sheets, and Auctria Academy. And the "Go Live" training that [sensitive content hidden] led for our volunteers. I thought the variety of reports offered was wonderful too. #### Cons I had trouble finding where to go on the platform at times. There are so many features, that at times it was hard to figure out where to go add items. The price difference was amazing and so much easier to use. We had a very successful on-line event and word got out. Had so many calls asking how I did it. Now practically every fundraiser in my area (Portland,OR) is using Auctria. Questions get answered fairly quickly, and all the suggestions for future updates I have suggested have been implemented. Functionality. I used another program that was very inflexible. With Auctria it was easy to make it fit what I needed to do. I find it frustrating that there are not explanations of what the different styling options are, for example. I have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to make it look the way I want. I am not a web designer. Maybe it is assumed if someone is building the website they know all that already. #### Reasons for choosing Auctria Price mainly and I tested it and seemed to have all the features I needed. #### Reasons for switching to Auctria Cost. It is very customizable and allowed for a nice fit with our organization’s needs. The bulk import tools saved quite a bit of time. The detailed webinar videos were also very helpful during setup and staff, specifically [sensitive content hidden] was extremely helpful and responsive. #### Cons The back end UI could use a bit of a facelift- better naming conventions for some of the tabs could prove useful. If the bar on the left side was organized into fewer, more broad categories, it would save quite a bit of time during setup. The mobile UI on the back end was near impossible to navigate on the night of the event. There should be a mobile app or mobile site for admins- especially on the night of the event. The main concern we ran into on event evening was the inability to easily tell which items had been paid for & by whom. There was also not a convention to mark each item as claimed or picked up which would’ve been helpful. #### Reasons for choosing Auctria the ability to use just the auction feature and the pricing were the reason we chose auctria #### Vendor response Good news- the Auctria Admin app does exist! The Admin app turns your phone into a fast and convenient event-day dashboard, letting you work the room with ease.
