Over time, I have found it to be difficult to use.

If your project gets a little heavier, either your computer will hang or your software will crash.

It was my first editing tool so after searching for other oprtions for a while I ended up returning to it because it's the one that suits best for the purpose.

An indispensable application for video editing, because it has a very easy interface, and this is one of its best advantages.

Also, the integration of this tool with my workflow is outstanding.

Most features are easy to use. I love that you can connect your projects with After Effects.

Overall, I've been quite pleased with Adobe Premiere Pro. It does what I need it to do and is easy for a beginner to pick up and learn.

The only thing that is a little irritating about this software is the rendering time.

It requires a lot from the machine and several times gets stuck.

Overall experience i would say that premiere pro is a perfect software for editing even if you are a beginner because its easy to use and it is professional.

Premiere on Windows is rock-solid and reliable. Integration with Photoshop, After Effects, and Audition is helpful, and Adobe has an integrated stock video library.

The cost is probably the worst thing about Premiere as well as the forced upgrading (which is fine as long as your computer is equipped for it.).

If it's your full-time job, you can récup the money. If it's just for a weekly project, find something else like DaVinci Resolve that offers the same features for free.

Sometimes, the integration with GPU drivers can be a bit troublesome.

Adobe Premiere Pro is the best video editor in the market right now. I am pretty confident about my statement because I have already used almost all the alternatives.

Even early on in the steep learning curve, there are features such as automatically removing reverberation, echo etc which improve audio quality considerably, at the touch of a button.

I'd rather pay a larger fee for the product up-front and then own it outright.

These are just the ones I used and can compare it with but I can say it is a very excellent app in comparison with the ones I mentioned.

This software is free which made it great for starters.

It didn't work well on my HP laptop, so I had to put the program on my computer which has faster programming and it seems to fix the issue.

It's limited compared to a DAW and we can't change audio on a video.

For the free software that it is, this software is a good alternative.

After 6 hours of editing and episode for my podcast, the files corrupted. I was devastated and so stressed out and frustrated I laid on my floor and cried.

It's a free downloadable program, and the quality/value you get for that is insane. Highly highly recommend, this is my go to editing software since I just do it for fun.

I am finding it difficult to separate vocals, I wonder if the effect really works because my attempts have proved abortive.

Audacity is widely used and has a large community of support.

From what I can tell, you cannot edit one side of a stereo file without editing another. My apologies if I am wrong, but it's the only thing I've noticed so far.

Audacity suffers from one of the ugliest graphical user interfaces out there. Contrast is poor, the blue-on-grey aesthetic is exhausting, and the icons are straight out of a clipart site from 1998.

Audacity is perfect for simple edits and audio clean ups. I use it for recording podcasts and tutorials and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple audio editor.

For instance, after the audio recording has stopped one would logically export it to a folder where it would be saved. But you have to press stop, even if the recording has stopped.

Learning curve is slow and frustrating, specially if you want to work with different tracks.

In the case of separation,  more of a single track enclosed recording ware, where all the unwanted background noises are pre-eliminated or rather a sound aggregate for the video guy.
