MoreSteam is very serious about feedback and incorporates improvements continually. It's the perfect application for Green Belt candidates to learn about statistical analysis.

Due to the nature of statistical analysis, if you don't have a little bit of training in that field, you will be confused and feel lost as you go through some of the functions.

EngineRoom has a low barrier to entry and its help features are outstanding.

All you need to do is read the conclusion in output, but it still provides all the detailed stats to support the conclusions. Importing data is also super simple and robust to different formats.

Being able to visualize process problems really helped us anticipate our needs better.

It has extensive capabilities, typically more than I need for the type of analysis I'm doing but I love knowing I have all the different options.

For new and experienced users, EngineRoom is just better from a cost, feature, ease of use, quality of output standpoint.

It does only allow 1 person to work on a project at a given time. This for the most part is not an issue but when teaching or reviewing with someone remotely it makes it more difficult.

I like three things about EngineRoom compared to other packages. First, it's a comprehensive set of process improvement tools all seamlessly integrated into one package.

I think some of the dashboard areas could be enhanced. The Data sidebar can get messy with too many data sources.

I like the improvements they've made with EngineRoom. It is really user friendly, and aids in displaying information in a wide variety of ways.

It can be difficult to learn initially as certain things aren't the most intuitive. However, once you learn to navigate EngineRoom I find it quite user-friendly.

My overall experience is excellent and I appreciate how the practice what they preach in continuously improving the product and providing super user support.

My favorite, and arguably one of the most valuable aspects to EngineRoom, is Process Playground.

The regular improvements and updates made to the software are also impressive. I like not having to download new versions all the time.

We converted over 100 Discoverer reports in 2 days with great accuracy. Saving may hours of debugging and testing.

We have dozens of scheduled reports to support our different business functions. We have SplashBI reports embedded in Excel to create Project Costing dashboards.

Great internal team and super easy to work with.

The report creation and modification is a little difficult for the mere user with little to no technical knowledge.

SplashBI has the primary Reporting software for all AP, AR, Treasury, Land, Revenue, JIB Accounting teams, for approximately 6 years.

Joining tables is still something I struggle with. Mostly it is because I have not taken the time to learn it.

We didn't use the Dashboard function so far (out of scope). One problem we had is that the datawarehouse model needs to have been setup correctly (especially the joints) to avoid later issues.

Users benefit from the ease-of-use interface and the ability to run reports directly from within Excel.

Quick install, Easy rollout and user friendly. GL Connect makes financial reporting very easy and accessible.

Moving from Discoverer to SplashBI for our reporting needs was one of the best decisions we made.

Still no connector to allow you to access data in Essbase which they have said has been on their list for development.

Interestingly the growth in use of the product has been somewhat self propagating. As an example I had people in Fleet request a report from Finance which they loved and asked how they got it.
