Process Street Software


Process Street is a cloud-based business process management (BPM) solution that enables organizations to create checklists and process documents for recurring projects. The solution is used in business functions such as client setup, employee onboarding, help desk support, recruiting and content promotion.

Key features include scheduled checklists, permission controls, web forms, scheduling tools and reporting. Users can manage multiple projects, review ongoing projects, assign tasks and collaborate with team members.

The platform can be integrated with third-party software such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Box and Salesforce. Process Street’s integration with Zapier allows it to connect with hundreds of third-party applications.

The solution is available on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Process Street provides customer support through email and phone.

Not my cup of tea!

Pros

I have used process street past couple of months back (not the pro version). And i was confused for good. So i stopped using the application, otherwise following the task and making SOPs was easier in it.

Cons

They should fix the UI, I have used it for a short time and the experience wasn't that great compared to it's competitors.

Good for simple checklists; Bad for complex processes

Pros

Full range of possible fields.
Drag and drop system for creating checklists.

Cons

Slow to make changes to functionality: If you update a Checklist template it breaks the conditionality of all active checklists. This is a known issue but has taken them over 3 months to fix.

Conditionality is limited to tasks, not elements within tasks.

Conditionality does not include 'and/or' statements only 'if' statements. You view conditionality as a list of statements, which gets really hard to organise and find items if you have more than 15 statements.

When trying to analyse data from a collection of checklists, you cannot filter for specific tasks easily. You need to unselect the items you do not want to see. So if you have more than 20 items (which you definitely will!) its labourious to unselect them all.

The 'merge' functionality that lets you pipe prior answers through to other sections of the checklists is fragile. Instead of used a field is to identify the item to be merged, they use the name of the field. So if you make a change to the field name/question it will break the piping. If they used field ID's it would not break when you make such changes.

Process Review

Pros

Very user friendly and great for ensuring process adherence and on-boarding. Once a checklist is created it is simple to duplicate for any number of projects. Version control for template documents is a key feature as well.

Cons

I don't have any cons at this point in my early stage of using the product. As I continue to use I will update with improvement areas.

-clean/bright interface
-multiple users available to can add VA etc
-able to add a lot of SOP to folders/lists

Cons

-getting to and from each folder was annoying and basically you had to go through all your folders every time to get back to SOP you were on.
-Signed up for a year worth not knowing I could not cancel like most subscriptions and get unused money back. Our SOP company changed formats therefore we could NOT get any updates. They would not work with us on this. It is irritating because we are stuck with an old version now and paid for 6 months we now can't use!

Great for internal work processes

Pros

Easy to use. Great for the internal processes, from day to day general activities to major projects

Cons

Only issue is that when you edit a process, unless you save it you won't be able to see it again unless you go back into edit mode.

Cons

The only problem I have is pricing can get expensive if you want to have multiple users. We end up using one account daily.

A Wonderful Tool

We have been using Process Street to set up all of our processes and procedures in one central location and to get away from using binders full of printed pages with task lists. We are loving how robust Process Street is.

Pros

I love the ease of use in creating templates and the myriad integrations.

Cons

There are a few User Interface things that I would change but that's about it.

Intuitive System

Great software for standardising processes in small and medium businesses!

Process Street completely transformed the way we do business. We were struggling to scale up our client base and business due to lack of a way to ensure consistent and complete servicing. Thanks to Process Street, that is now a thing of the past. Its advanced logic features enable customisation of generic templates to suit particular customers' needs, without losing the robustness of having a standard template to baseline all customers against. I am more than delighted with Process Street!

Cons

-Should incorporate ability to evaluate individual performance periodically (i.e. enable aggregating of tasks done, and assignment of values to tasks, so that it becomes a performance management tool).

Error-proofing your processes is key

Excellent option as a workflow software

We have managed to accomplish much more effectively with the deadlines

Pros

Generally, the ability it provides to better organize tasks and respect critical procedures.
And I especially value the possibility of adding templates and sending emails directly.

Cons

Just small details (for example, it is a bit difficult for me to quickly visualize the due dates of tasks that are not already expired, just because of they are not highlighted)

Brilliant software that saved the day

Pros

Easy to set up, easy to configure, easy to manage, easy to get support. What's not to love? And the results are fantastic. We now have an audit trail, better collaboration, better oversight and consistent processes.

Cons

Some of the timing options for alerts could be better and some of the email templates need to support basic formatting. Right now emails are only text, so you can't even use hyperlinks, bold or lists.

Pros

By putting a little effort in up front you can make repetitive problems into solvable tasks. Just follow the steps!

Cons

I don't love the name, and the design is absolutely adequate but not elegant.

The most user friendly workflow processing tool.

We use this tool to move our traditional workflows to automated processes that are automatically assigned to the correct person.

Pros

The main positive I have found to Process Street is that is alot more user friendly than some competitors. You do not need to go through some tutorial or training to get the hang of it. Another awesome feature is the ability to create guest accounts. These are free acounts that can do basic tasks like complete a report or task. They cannot assign tasks or create new forms, but they do allow you to keep the number of paid users in your system to a minimum.

Cons

There a few missing basic functionalities for forms (for instance, tables are not available). Also, the standard export/print of a form does not look very nice.
