There is no way to square foot a drawing in the takeoff mode.

I like being able to design and take-off material and labor at the same time. It's easy to make changes and see the results quickly.

FastDUCT has also given me a tool to get a pretty good sheet metal estimate together for quick turnaround bids that my vendors can't get out in time.

Difficult to add some specialty items to catalog for repeated use.

The ability to merge the fast Pipe and Fast duct into one estimate is a great feature for bidding a complete project.

There is no shortcut keys within this software. That means all repetitive tasks need to be clicked through step after step.

The ease of use is fantastic. Ability to import new drawings and revised drawings is great.

Pre-Bid changes are becoming more frequent. I used to dread this especially when the addendum plans are not clouded.

I tried to open FastDuct and got an error message. 10pm on a Sunday night and not only did I get a phone call from the president but he had me up and running in a few minutes.

Searches can be difficult to return to. They lack pagination customization.

Knowify represents an excellent QB Online integrated app for specialty contractors and subcontractors. The product has all the functionality to plan, propose and engage customers.

Customers complain about the invoicing, it's confusing.

Some times the address look up system does not work. The phone log in app tends to lag or not work at times.

This software makes it very simple to make change orders, simple invoicing, and great documentation.

Editing times in the time tracker is difficult. It took some time for our employees to get used to using the time tracker and fixing their time was difficult.

The integrations are fantastic and keep work flow going. Their mobile app is very simple so all of our supers are able to navigate  through the app in English or in Spanish which is a huge plus.

Knowify is singularly impressive in it's ability to speak to both the complex and real time needs of contractors while satisfying the employee, office staff, and the accountant's requirements.

Te main problem that I solved was time, now I have the bidding and invoicing in the same program.
